Before you begin
What you will need
You need to be able to sign in to Track and reach its Configuration menu. Everything happens inside your own Track account — you are creating the credentials, and you can delete them whenever you like.
Admin access to Track
You need an account that can open Configuration → Company Setup. If yours cannot, your Track rep can either grant it or create the key for you.
Three values to collect
A Server API Key, its Secret, and your Track address. The key and secret say who is calling; the address says where to call. We need all three.
Find your Track address
Sign in to Track and look at the address bar. It reads yourcompany.trackhs.com. That host is your Track address, and we need it alongside the keys.
Send just the host — yourcompany.trackhs.com, with no https:// and nothing after the .com.
Open your API Keys screen
In Track, go to Configuration → Company Setup → API Keys. Configuration is the gear icon.
Don’t see API Keys? Your Track rep — or [email protected] — can issue a Server Key for you, usually the same day.
Click + Server Key
Choose + Server Key — not a user key. Name it Kismet so it is obvious later what it is for, then click Save Key.
Copy the key and the secret
Track now shows a Server API Key and a Server API Secret. Your new pair is at the bottom of the list — it has the highest ID number.
Copy both now. Keep them somewhere safe until you have pasted them in the next step — treat them like an admin password.
Send all three to Kismet
Please don’t email the keys. Use our encrypted key drop — your submission is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Open the key drop, choose Track (TrackHS) from the platform dropdown, and fill the three fields it shows you:

Security notes
Keep control of your key
What we read: your units, rates and availability. That is what puts your homes in front of guests and keeps pricing accurate everywhere they appear.
What we write: the reservations Kismet books for you. They are created in Track so your PMS stays the system of record and your month-end close does not change.
A Track Server Key is not scope-limited the way some platforms allow, so treat it like an admin password. You can delete it at any time from the same API Keys screen and we lose access immediately.
