How it works

A shorter path from interest to arrival.

  1. 1

    Connect your inventory

Connect your inventory. Kismet makes it deeply searchable, built for how AI agents find, plan, and book hotels and short-term rentals, with live availability, pricing, and booking infrastructure behind it.

  2. 2

    Act with the guest’s permission

Guests authorize their agent to book. The agent completes checkout with that permission or sends the guest a link to review and pay.

  3. 3

    Review, pay, confirm

The checkout collects the required details and supports payment and confirmation where your integration is enabled.

A few things to know.

What is Kismet Agent Booking?

Kismet Agent Booking is a direct booking flow for hotels and vacation rentals discovered through AI. It connects a selected room or home with live availability, a quote, payment, and confirmation. An agent can complete supported steps with the guest’s permission or hand the guest a link to finish.

How is agent search different from browsing a website?

AI agents can read web pages, but planning and booking a stay requires more than reading property descriptions. They need a catalog purpose-built for how they work: comparing rooms and homes against a guest’s preferences, checking availability for specific dates, getting a current quote, and taking the next step toward booking. Kismet connects your property content, amenities, availability, and booking tools so agents can move from finding a suitable stay to booking it with the guest’s permission.

How is Kismet Agent Booking different from Kismet Agent Pay?

Kismet Agent Booking covers the booking flow from a selected stay to confirmation. Kismet Agent Pay is the payment capability within that flow, using Stripe to support authorized payments and guest checkout links. The available payment path depends on the property’s setup and the guest’s permissions.

Does the guest need to start their search again?

The checkout link carries the selected stay into the booking flow. Availability and price are checked again before the booking is completed.

What does “authority to act” mean?

The guest has explicitly permitted their agent to take an action, such as booking a chosen stay at an agreed price. That permission comes from the guest through their agent. A checkout link does not grant it. Each agent follows its own approval rules, and the guest can complete checkout themselves when needed.

Can every AI agent complete every booking?

The supported path depends on the agent’s tools, the property’s integration, and the guest’s permissions. An agent can complete supported booking steps or hand the selected stay to the guest to review and finish checkout.

How does this work with Fixtures?

Fixtures is built to be agent-ready from the start. Managers running Fixtures can turn on Agent Booking for their properties. Kismet automatically keeps the integration current as AI agents evolve how they plan trips and book stays, so managers can keep up without rebuilding their booking experience.
