We were looking for a place for several family members to stay while visiting relatives in Callicoon. This place was perfect. Three queen beds, two twin beds, three bathrooms. Everything clean and comfortable. Five minute drive to Callicoon business center. No hassles, no problems.

This is a gorgeous farmhouse in an idyllic setting. The house itself is well appointed and was the perfect spot for our two families to spread out and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare elaborate meals for our large group. The house is situated near a few towns and is the perfect place for a fun and restful time in the Catskills. We liked the decor too! Thank you!

Excellent! Five Acres Farm was a wonderful retreat for our family vacation. The house was very well appointed and clean. We had everything we needed to cook meals, but town is close, so we had the option of going out as well. The property is quiet and serene. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Five Acres Farm with 4 adults and 3 children (1, 3, and 4 years old) and it was nearly perfect. The house and setting was absolutely beautiful and the house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. There were also plenty of fun things to do in the area. Our only concern was the temperature and maybe it was just unfortunate timing, but it was a hot and sticky long weekend and the house and bedrooms were too hot despite of using all fans provided. I didn’t deduct any stars for this as the description does state that there is no airconditioning. Also, if we didn’t have young children, we would have probably been out more and not have noticed it so much. I would still highly recommend this beautiful home in fun area though, just the temperature is just something to be mindful of, yet you will not regret your decision of booking this beautiful and spacious home.

We absolutely loved our stay at 5 Acres Farm. Everything was as described and then some. My family enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful house and perfect for a weekend away with friends.

Great farm house for a large group (we were 7). The three full baths were welcome and the house had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend upstate.

The cottage was beautiful and very private! My friends and I had a wonderful NYE weekend and felt that we had plenty of space. The kitchen was also fully stocked with appliances which made cooking for all of us quite easy!

We had a great time staying here with our friends and dogs. Host is very responsive and place was clean and well stocked.

Beautiful farm house in a secluded setting. We were a group of 5 women and it was so nice to each have our own bedroom plus 3 bathrooms. Very spacious, nicely updated and so peaceful. Crisp air and could see so many stars at night. Very close to the small towns of Callicoon and Jeffersonville. Cute shops and restaurants. If you are looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle to relax and unwind, this is the place to be!

We enjoyed our stay at Red's Cottage. We were a group of 8, and the house was more than comfortable for our group. The house came equipped with all kitchen essentials, linens, soap etc. The surrounding area is beautiful, and there's plenty of activities in Sullivan County. I would recommend Red's Cottage to anyone looking for a getaway in upstate New York!

Five Acres Farm was a lovely place to stay to attend a wedding in Callicoon. The hosts were receptive and responded quickly to all inquiries. Cell phone service in the area is very spotty, so it can be difficult to get around with GPS cutting in and out, but the hosts notified us of this before our stay. The home was very clean and well maintained. Comfortable for a group of 8 for the weekend.

Great place - we came for a concert at Bethel Woods and this is the perfect spot to access that, fishing, nearby towns, trails, lakes, etc. The property is beautiful. Would recommend.

Our stay at the farmhouse was stellar from start to finish with an extremely easy check in process. It was an enjoyable opportunity to enjoy the serene and secluded surroundings of the house, we spent nearly every day soaking up the sun in the beautiful land around the house. A short drive away you can find Callicoon center with excellent restaurants, breweries, distilleries right on UIpper Main St. The house is extremely spacious offering logistically great common rooms for chilling with your entire group as well as enough rooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space. It's an excellent home away from home to disconnect in the Catskills with everything you might need for your stay including BBQ grill.

This farmhouse met our expectations for location and space. It’s on a quiet country road with some small river towns nearby and beautiful mountain scenery. The listing prepared us for the quirks of farmhouse life (creaky doors, sloped floors) and we appreciated its character - it’s certainly a home and not a hotel. We also liked that there were plenty of bedrooms for the guests in our adult group to have their own space. We did run into issues with some of the main appliances, including a flooding dishwasher and a washing machine that struggled to complete a cycle. Management was quick to respond and a new dishwasher was dropped off during our stay. But three maintenance visits added some admin to the trip. Cell service was fine at the house but when exploring we couldn’t always respond promptly or be onsite. If booking soon you may want to check on the appliance updates, which seemed underway. Other things that we needed - linens, dishware - were plentiful and easy to find.

Beautiful home we were able to share.Extremely close to Bethal Woods. The house & property were exactly as described in the add.The host could not have been any more responsive to every question I had prior to our arrival. Great stay, I'd reach out again if we had the chance to be in the area visiting again.

Beautiful home and surroundings. Very peaceful. Enjoyed a beautiful weekend at this lovely home. Kitchen was very well stocked and lots to see and do in the surrounding towns. Lucked out with some perfect late summer weather too as a bonus. Highly recommend.

The property is beautiful, nestled in the bucolic landscape yet still a close drive to Callicoon and Jeffersonville. The house was older but well furnished and clean. The hosts were helpful and responsive. It was a great stay in a beautiful setting!
