My 14 yr old son and I stayed here for a couple days. The place was very nice and all kinds of stuff inside to make you feel right at home. Walking distance to the amazing art museum. Couple of nice restaurants, Kristy Kreme next door. 🍩 we really enjoyed the location. Wish there was parking.
Nice place, very clean and comfortable
The basement studio was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Everything (bedding, linens, appliances, fixtures) was new, fresh and clean. The umbrella in the room was a nice touch as we were unprepared for a rain shower. Shameza's communications were proactive and thorough with instructions and offers to provide suggestions for the area. The location is great for access to the University of Toronto, nearby shopping, restaurants and museums. Garage parking is a block away and less than half the price of what a downtown hotel would charge. Will stay here again!
Equipped was excellent, whereas system was immature. Positive: The location was excellent. The room itself was well-equipped. The remote staff is very kind. Negative: The lack of a front desk should have been announced more clearly in advance, as the check-in process was quite troublesome. While the staff provided prompt and kind remote assistance, there were limits to what they could do. The glass-door partition in the shower room was broken and repaired after my call. Also, I would have liked the sheets changed at least once every three days (Not changing it every day is the right choice for the sake of the environment.). Amenities (water, towels) were not replenished unless I specifically asked. The Wi-Fi was possible only on the 1st day and did not work after; after I reported the issue, I was directed to use an alternative connection. I would have liked a manual for the coffee machine. Footsteps from the floor above could be heard clearly.

Excellent communication from the host. I was locked out due to a technical issue with a keypad late at night, and the host responded immediately to help me with access.

I had to emergency book with a nights notice and everything was still great. Shameza was very responsive and communicative, everything was in order, and checked in throughout my stay without me asking. Honestly don’t know what more you can ask from a host. The booking was clean, and has everything listed! Great location to walk the city from or catch an uber. Easy and safe access to the rooms as well. I recommend this place for sure

I had a great stay at The McCaul by Casa Hotel. The location is excellent and made it easy to get around the city. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the bed was especially comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, with plenty of complimentary amenities provided. The big screen TV and the overall cozy atmosphere really made the space feel welcoming and relaxing. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay, and I would definitely recommend it.

The room was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and very comfortable, it truly felt like a relaxing and welcoming space from the moment I arrived. Everything was well-maintained, and it was clear that great care goes into keeping the space spotless. Shameza was also an outstanding host. She was incredibly responsive, promptly addressing any questions or concerns I had, which made the entire stay smooth and stress-free. Her attentiveness and communication really stood out and added to the overall positive experience. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would gladly return in the future!

Negative: The only thing, and it may be more of a personal thing than an issue. The shower's flow is a bit weak, making getting one take longer than it should.
I had a really great stay at this place. The space was very clean, well-organized, and exactly as shown in the listing photos. The overall atmosphere felt calm and welcoming, which made it easy to relax. Communication with Shameza was top notch! She’s friendly, responsive, and very accommodating with all my concerns and needs during my stay. Check-in and check-out were simple and smooth, and I really appreciated how helpful she was in making sure everything went well. The location was convenient and the space had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell the hosts genuinely care about their guests’ experience. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily book again in the future.
W-O-W. There’s no words to begin to express how fantastic the hospitality of this place was. Shameza is a true legend. Amazing human being, and even more amazing host. Will definitely be coming back here!
