The first floor features an open-plan living and dining area, where a roaring fire can be enjoyed in the living room’s wood stove. The spacious kitchen, outfitted with butcher block counters, leads out to a newly installed multi-level wood deck, stained black for a striking finish. The Gables is just a few minutes' walk down to the main streets of Callicoon, with its restaurants, movie theater and local brewery, as well as easy access to the Delaware River with arguably some of the best fly fishing in the region. There are also very good cycling and hiking opportunities along the Delaware River.
