Large house with plenty of space and huge backyard, great for a few families with kids and dogs. Very close to Catskill and Hudson for exploring and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

We had an excellent stay here. Our group had 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 2-10) and the space was large and accommodated us all well. Nice backyard for playing, dining, fire pit, etc. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. Rooms were all stylishly designed. Nice working fireplace for evening hangouts. Responsive hosts. We loved the space and would recommend!

The house was wonderful with plenty of space for our large family. The town of Athens didn’t have much to offer but we enjoyed the short ride to Hudson. We spent lots of time outdoors both on the property and in the area surrounding Hudson. Beautiful home and nicely furnished with tasteful decor.

A great stay at a beautiful property in the Hudson Valley A beautifully remodeled farmhouse in an ideal location with six bedrooms and four bathrooms. Centrally located between Hudson and Catskill, and outfitted with everything a family could possibly needs, and the owners are very accommodating. We highly recommend this property for a memorable and relaxing Hudson Valley stay.

Perfect for family get togethers We came to the area for a wedding. The house served as a gathering spot post wedding and the layout was fantastic to accommodate our guests. We had a few household issues that were resolved or addressed but who doesn't? Great view

This was the perfect getaway for our family and friends! The little kids absolutely loved the big yard, the house was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and we all loved how private and quiet the area was. We did run into one issue during our stay where the second-floor shower was leaking into the downstairs hallway, but the hosts were very quick to respond and even sent out their maintenance crew to look at it that day. It is an older house, so we understand things like that happen - but I really appreciated their quick response. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful - yet beautiful - getaway!

Everything about the property is spectacular. The house is beautiful, as is the view and fire pit. We were 9 and had plenty of space. The upstairs suite is absolutely stunning and every bedroom is comfortable. Recommend this house to anyone and everyone. We had a small hiccup regarding a fee for an early check in but the team was extremely responsible and understanding and I appreciate how quickly the issue was resolved. Would definitely come back and recommend to any group or family looking for a beautiful upstate getaway!

I hesitate to leave a neutral review as there were certainly positive aspects of this Airbnb. The home was well stocked, with the kitchen having just about every appliance you could ask for. The beds were comfortable, the grounds were nice, it was a short distance to fun activities including shopping, hiking, and breweries, and instructions by and large were clear. However, certain negative aspects detracted from what would have otherwise been a very positive stay. The instruction manual incorrectly detailed how to work the indoor fireplace, resulting in a protracted problem-solving journey. This home is managed by a management company, meaning there is no direct line to the homeowner who knows how to deal with such issues, the main issue we had with this home. Separately, the sliding side door — a main and heavily-trafficked thoroughfare given this house accommodates up to 12 — was very difficult to operate and needs addressing.

Had a group of 10 and the setup was great. More than enough space for everyone and great to have several full bathrooms. Sadly the weather / burn ban kept us from utilizing the yard which had a great picnic table and fire pit. 10 minute drive to downtown Hudson which is where we spent most of our time. Cons…nothing within walking distance - pretty remote. A loud train near by which was definitely noticeable, especially early in the morning. The place could use some general maintenance and updating, and the water/drains smelled very funky. (The owners have a water bubbler for drinking which was appreciated.) Overall, the space served its purpose as a spacious touchdown spot for the weekend at an affordable price.

Our group had a lovely time staying at this AirBnB! We were close enough to Hudson to go do things and then our time at the house was a peaceful respite. The bedrooms are nice and there are four bathrooms. The third floor loft space is great for a small family. The door to the stairs closes so small children can't get out easily. In most rooms, air conditioning worked well. We lost power in the hurricane but it was restored pretty quickly. A fire alarm needing batteries was quickly fixed. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need. There are kids bowls, plates, cups and silverware. Would definitely go back if we are traveling to this area with a big group. It's hard to find a place that can comfortably sleep 12!

The Sunflower Farmhouse was the perfect place for my group of 10 to spend the weekend. It was a very spacious house with a kitchen that was comfortable for cooking group dinner and with plenty of sitting/lounging space. The backyard was absolutely gorgeous and made it feel like we were at a private hideaway. We were also conveniently close to several other small Upstate towns. The hosts were always responsive, even when we had an issue with the door lock, and I'd recommend this house to any group wanted to enjoy the Athens and Hudson areas.

Our group loved our stay and found the space clean, spacious, and comfortable for a long weekend. Communication was clear and prompt, check in and out was easy, and there lots of space to hang out. We loved Night School pizza nearby as well - thanks!

Perfect Girl’s Weekend We had such a great time at this property! The house was adorable and in a perfect location for a variety of activities.

House was great. Went for a girls weekend with 7 girls and it was so nice to have 6 bedrooms to spread out. Host was super responsive to our questions and issues. Reason for the 4 stars was a hot water issue and WiFi issue. Internet took a long time to figure out and reset. We had cold water from arriving on Friday until Saturday at 7pm. As soon as we figured it out, we let her know and she responded immediately to fix the issue, but not fun taking cold showers. She was very communicative, allowed an early check in, and house was in a great location for our outings to Hudson and hiking nearby. Highly recommend

We stayed at this Airbnb for my birthday a group of 10 total. The property is beautiful and the decor was nice as well. We all fit comfortably and the beds were comfortable as well. The house was spacious so we had plenty of space and didn’t feel overcrowded. Plenty of bathrooms, linens, cleaning supplies everything we needed. The house has a beautiful backyard with a barbecue grill, a fire pit and hammock to hang out. My favorite part of the home was the master suite. It’s decorated beautifully and it’s so big. We headed into town about 3 miles away to hang out and have drinks. Super cute town! I recommend this place to anyone with a big group.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and the yard was a highlight. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch, dinner at the big picnic table, and lounging in the hammocks. We liked how the house was set so far back from the road, so it felt very secluded and peaceful. We love the area too - swimming holes, great restaurants, farm stands are all nearby.

This place was soooo amazing! It was even better than photos. I was honestly shocked by how beautiful it was. It was incredibly cozy - the furniture is lovely, the bedding/blankets were super soft and it was really clean. Very very spacious - it was great to have a room for each person in our party. Super convenient location. The only snag was that we struggled a bit with the door, but we figured it out! I would absolutely stay here again to visit Hudson or the surrounding area.

We stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed this place. Especially the fireplace was our favorite spot in the house as we had a lot of snow outside! Thanks for having us.
