Beautiful property, right on the river. wonderful stay with my family. would stay again!

My family and I loved the property. The home is beautiful. We had a ton of fun out on as well as in the Delaware River.

We spent 7 nights at Stonehaven over the Christmas holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The home is beautifully designed, perfectly situated above the Delaware River, and full of thoughtful touches. Quiet, cozy, and great for both relaxing and entertaining. Also, the Red Cottage folks were proactively communicative without being intrusive and resolved an issue quickly on Christmas Day. Moreover, we had two snowfalls while there, and the next days after the caretaker showed up early to plow. Highly recommended! We need to be there again in warmer weather! 🦅❤️❄️😊

A few friends and I had an enjoyable winter stay. The home was clean and well equipped. The sauna was very nice. One issue, however, was only having access to a guest WiFi network, though the house guidebook clearly stated we could also use the private network to connect to Sonos speakers/sound system. When we requested the private WiFi, we were told we couldn’t have access after quite a bit of back and forth. A large reason we were excited about this place was to listen to music as a group on a nice sound system. It was disappointing that the owners were not accommodating to this, despite mentioning it in the guidebook.

Not only was Red Cottage’s Stonehaven on the Delaware beautiful and serene, it was also full every convenience necessary for a luxury staycation. Thank you for letting us stay with you and we hope to visit again sometime soon! -Sharon D

This is a lovely, large, comfortable house with many gracious details, very peaceful and quiet. The pictures hardly do it justice. It's a great location with beautiful views up the river and across to PA. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, glasses, silver and cooking and baking utensils. Hosts are very helpful and attentive.

This is a unique house that feels like someone's much-loved home. If the river view and patio aren't enough, there are plenty of thoughtful and personal touches...like the music collection, sauna, and a new hot tub....to make for a wonderful stay. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds and couches are comfortable. lots of blankets and pillows. The bathrooms are older, as you'd expect in an older house, but the have good water pressure and the toilets have bidets. The weather was perfect on our visit and we spent most of our time out back. It is private and quiet. There is a new Weber grill. The patio furniture is comfortable for spending an afternoon reading. There is a family of bald eagles in the woods next to the house. Highly recommend this house and would return in a heartbeat.

This house was perfect for our group of 4 and a dog. We loved spending time at the fire pit, fishing by the water, and enjoying the property inside and out. Even though we didn't get to use it - the sauna was a nice touch - hopefully, we'll be back!

The house was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect place for a quiet getaway with friends. It was stocked with everything we needed for the weekend including records, games, puzzles, cooking supplies, and housewares. The view was unbeatable with the sun setting directly over the Hudson. Would definitely recommend!

Extraordinary experience at stone haven! Breathtaking and peaceful surroundings. The home itself is cozy, beautifully decorated with a 30’s build and lovely personal touches. All amenities you could need, plus a fantastic record collection, extensive kitchen utensils, and luxurious bedding. We really loved how real and unique the home and grounds are. It felt like it had been untouched by time and completely unpretentious. Very helpful and communicative hosts and wonderful cleaning personnel. Thank you to the red cottage team for making our time at stone haven unforgettable.

I don’t think I’ve had a better experience than this one so far—incredibly well kept house from the house itself and surrounding property but all the little details itself, including pantry items, records to listen to, very comfy couches, beautiful backyard and sauna, etc etc; I could on forever because every little detail of the house seemed very very well thought through in a way that made us feel right at home. On top of that, the staff was super responsive, timely, detailed, and professional in their communication with us. Hands down would gladly stay here again and even hire the team someday to help me with any future homes I may have the join of sharing on Airbnb. Thanks again Red Cottage!
