The Ledger is a great establishment & location. The description did say some units could have noise from events. The noise was as if you were a guest at the actual event & continued with furniture movement until 2 am. The unit was clean but the furniture was gross/dirty. We asked for sheets to cover the furniture. There was an odd smell in the unit. Overall, it was a decent stay but difficult to sleep with wedding music 2 of the 3 nights & also not wanting to hang with in the living area due to the stained/dirty furniture. The kitchen, bathroom & bedrooms were very clean.

Positive: Great size, clean and great location. Negative: The room was not ready yet, we needed to wait an hour to check-in.

The front desk staff were basic in customer service, not really engaging. Bedrooms had no windows, so no natural light. The kitchen equipment eg. Cutlery was lacking for 4 people.

Great venue, the location was walkable and enjoyable. We traveled with our dog, and there was a quaint park across the street that was well lit.

The space is clean, spacious, and very conveniently located. Hosts are also very responsive. We had two major concerns that affected an otherwise great weekend. (1) The host charges an additional pet fee of $25/day. The fee is disclosed in the listing, but we were quite annoyed that even after we had included all relevant information (including bringing a dog) when we booked, the fee was not included. We were asked to submit payment the day before we arrived. (2) On the day of checkout, we were locked out of the apartment before checkout time. This was concerning, especially because our dog was still inside. (A very minor issue: the Nespresso machine was broken.)

We had an amazing stay! The location couldn't have been better – right in the heart of everything, making it super easy to explore. The apartment itself was fantastic: spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. Not to mention, the price was incredibly reasonable for the quality and convenience it offered. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot!

It's a large rental, but extremely cheap and likely not up to code standards. There are no windows in the bedrooms which is a code violation, and the bathroom does not have an exhaust system. Tub faucet handle was falling out, coffee machine didn't work and spilled coffee all over the place. Not a terrible experience, but a prime example of developers flipping cheap buildings into short term rentals to extract as much money as possible while putting in as little effort as necessary. Host requires external check-in process. I'll stay at a Marriott next time.

Really cool old building and fantastic location. Perfect if you gave a dog. Positive: Beautiful building. Large spacious apartment with kitchen and laundry. Negative: Bathtub wouldn’t drain. A little dirty. Bedrooms are small though space is large.

Disappointing that we booked a non smoking unit and it stunk off cigar and pipe smoke … they tried to rectify it with an ozonator but the smell kept lingering .. the tub was clogged so when u showered you had water up past your ankles and it took awhile to drain . The freezer part of the fridge was also broken .. the seal part was stuck to thd fridge so u could not use if .. which didn’t effect us .. but it definitely needs repaired. Other than that it was very clean anc pretty quiet … everyone was quite helpful .

Positive: Emplacement central Bel immeuble et appartement spacieux, décoration design. Équipement suffisant pour cuisiner 2 chambres Negative: Pas l'appartement que j'ai réservé ( les photos montraient un loft,) mais au final il y avait 2 chambres Bruit de plomberie quand les voisins tirent de l'eau, et bruits de couloirs De même travaux dans la rue a 23h et des 7h.. Vue pas top sur un entrepôt Sol pas très propre. Des petites poussières qui apparemment viennent de la climatisation. Draps tachés, de même les serviettes sont jaunies

It was good enough for what we needed. Positive: The location was wonderful. The kitchen had what we needed to cook. Negative: There were no dressers in the bedrooms. The decor was overly monochromatic; white. The staff were hit and miss for getting information about the area, but decent customer service. There was dog poop on the elevator. There was no ramp to the front door for wheeling in luggage.

Die Lage ist super die Wohnung jedoch nicht weiterzuempfehlen Positive: Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr zentral, direkt neben der Independence Hall. Die Küche ist mit dem minimal nötigsten ausgestattet. Negative: das Appartment ist sehr schlecht unterhalten und gereinigt. Die Böden und Teppiche waren stark verschmutzt. Matratzen von schlechter Qualität. Sehr ringhörig.

Keep in mind that this is a large building with a number of apartments. I was uneasy when I learned the day of the rez that my apt was not available due to maintenance but that they were giving me another larger space. Larger was fine, so I accepted. But the apt that I was supposedly swapping into was not the one pictured when they sent me the change (the apt they showed me swapping into had different features like a stackable washer dryer and a larger kitchen area). The apt we got had an all in one washer dryer unit and a smaller kitchen/living area, which was fine. Just beware that what you see is not necessarily what you’ll get. The apt was outfitted in a spare modern way - a tad sterile. And the tub didn’t drain well. BUT - the location makes up for the minuses. It’s a half block from independence hall and very walkable to everything. The apts also seemed well sound proofed. It’s very much like a hotel experience but better overall value.

Why go to one of the nearby hotel when you get your own apartment literally in front of Independence Hall and it’s park with Washington park just down the block. Really nice suites.

Very nice apartment with all of the amenities in an excellent location. Close to nice restaurants and right next to independence hall. Beautiful old building. We would stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this apartment in the heart of Old City directly across from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. So much to do and so many restaurants. I texted the host once and received a response within minutes. I would gladly stay again.
