Everything was great! It was clean and neat!

Beautiful place and location!

We enjoyed it! Positive: Staff was available by text, phone, and at the front desk. The stay was very nice. Negative: Had an issue with one of the valet guys, but the property corrected it without any hassle.

The neighborhood is lively at night, the host provided earplugs and sound machine Positive: Clean and mostly as advertised Negative: Did not have hot water for 24+ hours

The Ledger By Sosuite was the perfect place for us and our dog! It’s literally right across from Independence Hall and super walkable to everything else! The host was super responsive and helpful when we had questions. The place was thoughtfully designed and the kitchen was the bonus points for us! We felt right at home and would definitely come back again!

Having someone at the front desk that was super helpful and very outgoing, as well as having access to valet parking made the stay even more enjoyable. Very pet friendly. Conveniently located with many sites and restaurants that were within walking distance made the stay very enjoyable.

Location was cool. View was really nice and the decor was homey and upscale. Within walking distance of reading terminal market and many historical landmarks.

Great spot, however loft is about 10 degrees below warmer than down stairs.

The location was great! The apartment was nice and check in was extremely easy! The only downside of the apartment given the bedroom is on the second floor, it was hot up there and cold downstairs. Other than that I would definitely stay again!

I needed a place to stay while my husband was an inpatient at a nearby hospital. The unit was large enough to feel like a home away from home with all the basic needs. I was able to work remotely with the fast WiFi and there were plenty of parks to take my dog for her walks. I would definitely stay again if we were back in town.

Location is amazing - walkable to historic sites and tons of great restaurants. Felt very secure in a building with a front desk, etc. Unit was clean and looked just as pictured. Negatives - the bed was terribly uncomfortable. We are not picky, but both my husband and I had achey backs from it every day and for days after. Also - it wasn’t cozy. No extra fluffy bedding or blankets, no extra pillows if we needed them. The bed and the linens need an upgrade. But still, overall a great stay. Location is unmatched.

Absolutely perfect!!!! We were unable to use valet as we were in a Jeep Gladiator but they were super helpful in suggesting another location nearby to accommodate us. We were able to walk or bike ride everywhere! Thank you!

Positive: The staff was amazing. There was the nicest young lady there during the day. She was ever soo helpful and went above and beyond for us. I wish I had gotten her name. Negative: The spiral steps were really rough on the pups. They could not go up or down them. They need some sort of grip tape or carpet put on them. Also the bed was a little uncomfortable. But im guessing that was from lots of use. We kept rolling to the middle. Other than that. It was fabulous and we would definitely stay there again.

It was a stand out lovely place in a great location. My only reservation is that the lovely bathroom is not on the same floor as the bedroom which can make things more challenging

Fantastic location abutting Independence Hall! Easy to find, cool building. The apartment is exceptionally clean, with all that’s needed for a great stay. We valet parked the car and didn’t need it until we checked out as the location is so walkable. We will definitely be back!

Convenient location. Spacious comfortable apartment. Be aware that bedroom is up a spiral staircase. Comfortable bed and very effective air conditioning!

From the moment I stepped into The Ledger by Sosuite, I knew this was going to be a special stay. The space perfectly blends the historical charm of the 1800s Public Ledger newspaper building with modern amenities, creating a unique and unforgettable experience. The loft layout with its soaring ceilings and sleek design made me feel both cozy and expansive at the same time. The location is unbeatable—right across from Washington Square Park and surrounded by Philadelphia's rich history. It was easy to explore the city on foot, with iconic landmarks just minutes away. I loved how the apartment is not just a place to sleep, but a true reflection of the neighborhood's character. The amenities were top-notch! The on-site valet parking was such a luxury, and I appreciated the convenience of having 24/7 service, especially in a city where parking can be tricky. The fact that I had unlimited in-and-out privileges made it even easier to navigate!!!

Absolutely love staying with Simon at SoSuite when I visit Philly! Have stayed at multiple of his locations and this has been my favorite by far! Amazing stay, amazing location and definitely utilize the valet parking!

The place was very nice it was just as described easy check in and great response time everything was smooth sailing and I absolutely loved the location.

This place is in a great area of Philly. the building is historic and has all sorts of historical artifacts to enjoy. USE THE VALET PARKING, you won't regret it!

Honestly, this was a great stay—we absolutely loved the place! The upstairs sleeping area was a bit warm, so we’d recommend dressing lightly for bedtime, but everything else was fantastic. The valet parking was a highlight of the trip—being able to pull up and head inside with all our bags so easily was such a relief. We really enjoyed the beautiful views, the cozy living area, and the large TV for relaxing. It’s been months since we’ve had a stay this comfortable and enjoyable. Simon and the hosts were incredibly considerate and responsive, which made everything even better. Highly recommend!

Great place! Outstanding view of independence hall and the park. I’d absolutely stay here. It’s a city so of course there will be a little noise but it’s fine.

This was a great place to stay! The host was the icing on the cake with his rapid responses. This was my first time in Philly so I didn't which neighborhood to stay in. The window of this place overlooks Independence Hall! And Liberty Bell is kitty-corner. The unit is in the building corner so there is a lot of natural light through windows (and very effective shades). So many things are walkable from here. There is even a large Wawa in the building! The place was very clean. There is a loft bedroom so there will be a temperature differential up and down.

I’ve stayed at Simone’s place many, many times. It was perfect. We could have used an extra blanket but no big deal! Great location, great having a doorman as our flights got in super early and we were able to check luggage in early which is wonderful. We never have needed a rental car in Philadelphia and it would have been an inconvenience having to shlep our stuff everywhere! Most Airbnb’s don’t offer this so it rates very high too. We had a lovely view of the park too. Of all the suites at Simone’s this happened to have a smaller bathroom than others but still wonderful. Will stay again for sure! Convenient to everything and even to train station to airport etc…

I’ll start with the good, since it’s a short list: the location. The building is centrally located, and everything we needed was within a 15-minute drive. Now for the bad… We checked in on the 12th and out on the 16th. There were no extra linens, comforters, or blankets—just the sheets on the bed. For two adults, we were only given two bath towels and two washcloths, which felt inadequate. After requesting more towels, we received only a fraction of what was needed, and I didn’t bother asking again. As for noise, on a scale of 1 to 10, it’s a 100. The walls must be paper-thin because you can hear everything, even the smallest sounds outside. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Comfortable, convenient, polite staff. Positive: The location was perfect for us. My husband and I were in Philly forhis eye surgery. This facility is short walking blocks from the Jefferson Medical Complex which includes Wills Eyes. Negative: The loft level does not have a bathroom. That's tricky.

Can get noisy - but a very nice apartment in a great part of the city.

This was easily the best Air bnb I have ever booked and I’m a pretty seasoned traveler. Would definitely recommend booking here if you’re visiting Philly. We’ll certainly be back!

The place was full of light with huge windows overlooking beautiful Washington Square Park. The high ceilings added to the feeling of openness and light and the upstairs bedroom loft was super cozy and relaxing. I had a great stay -- highly recommend.

This was my third summer staying at the Ledger Building, and second staying in the SoSuite unit, and the entire visit was perfect. The unit is simple and delightful, with stylish but comfortable modern furniture, and Simon at SoSuite is responsive and easy to communicate with. In the (rare) event of any technical issues, he got back to me right away. E.g., we had a leaky kitchen faucet that was solved via a quick text to Simon, who summoned a building maintenance guy who showed up promptly to fix it. We also had a noisy neighbor one late night and, again, the problem was solved via a simple text to SoSuite, who dispatched someone to politely request that they keep it down. Another big plus is that SoSuite is tightly connected to the concierges who work in the Ledger's lobby, so there is always an in-person staffer to help if any issues arise. Overall the three-week visit was incredibly smooth and enjoyable. Thank you!

Very dog friendly with parks in front and a 2 min walk to Washington park. Our dog loved his stay here also. Would recommend to anyone and would stay here again.

What a wonderful stay and a great location. Check in was a breeze and they communicated very well before arrival. I recommend using their parking service. It was so simple to have my car when needed. Our dog loved looking out the window at the park all weekend. I’d stay here again!

You learn a lot about a host when something goes wrong. We’ve stayed with Sosuite many times (often in this apartment). The location is fantastic, space is comfortable, and the value is tough to beat. When we arrived this time, the apartment was in rough shape. It wasn’t as clean as usual. I texted Sosuite, got an immediate response, and a team quickly arrived to address everything. They even brought us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. It turns out the prior guests had had a huge party and housekeeping/maintenance had scrambled to clean it up before our arrival. I was VERY impressed with Sosuite’s speed and care in this situation. Good communication and stellar on-site staff make a huge difference. We’ll be back! PSA for guests: please be considerate of your host and housekeepers. Treat the space like your own (or better). If you do make a mess, be an adult and clean it up yourself.

This space was by far from amazing, great views overlooking the park and beautifully put together inside. Very stunning! I would recommend this place over everything when visiting Philadelphia.
