Redwood Manor is a classic two-story red farmhouse with traditional clapboard siding and a wide covered front porch offering a timeless country retreat surrounded by peaceful woodland. The pool, and spacious layout inside and out make this the ideal retreat for any time of year.
On the main floor, the living room is made for settling in. Leather armchairs, a plush sofa, and an extensive record collection invite you to relax and unwind. Natural light pours in through large windows and glass doors, and direct access to the screened-in porch extends the living space.
A bright and welcoming kitchen presents crisp white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a central island with bar seating - great for morning coffee, casual lunches, or wine while dinner simmers. The dining area pairs farmhouse warmth with classic New England character and features a solid wood dining table with bench and chair seating creating an inviting spot for shared meals or board games.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, each with a laptop friendly workspace, and a bathroom with a separate soaking tub and walk-in shower. The primary bedroom features a king size bed, TV, and a walk-in closet and the two guest bedrooms each include a full bed. On the main floor, there is an additional guest bedroom with a full bed, and another bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Outdoors, guests can lounge on the stone patio by the in-ground swimming pool, perfect for summer afternoons and relaxed evenings. A spacious deck with a grill provides another spot to unwind, while the fenced yard and expansive lawn create space to relax, dine al fresco, or simply take in the surrounding nature.
Redwood Manor is an ideal Catskills getaway in any season. Perfect for a quiet weekend, a seasonal escape, or time away with family and friends.
The area
Redwood Manor sits at the heart of some of our favorite Catskills experiences. Start with a locally brewed pint at Catskill Brewery or Upward Brewing Company, both beloved for their craft beers and relaxed mountain setting. Stock the fridge with fresh provisions from Main Street Farm and Drinking Upstream, two go-to stops for thoughtfully sourced food and drink.
For dining, The DeBruce offers a destination-worthy farm-to-table experience, while The Walk-In Manor, Van Smokey, and The Kaatskeller deliver everything from comfort classics to creative, seasonal fare. Just a short stroll from the house, you’ll find The Cabin, a cozy neighborhood bar and restaurant with a welcoming, laid-back vibe known for good food, a bit of local lore and was owned by the Foster brothers. Art lovers won’t want to miss Catskill Artspace, a contemporary gallery showcasing impressive regional and national talent.
Explore the area’s craft spirits at Pollinator Spirits, or dive into local heritage at the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum. Shopping is equally rewarding, with standout boutiques like Homestedt, Drooz and Company, Old Souls NY, Nest Catskills, and Catskills Curated. Finish the day with locally made cider at Seminary Hill, or a visit to Buck Brook Alpacas for a truly memorable Catskills moment.
Redwood Manor is just 2 hours from New York City. A car is essential for getting there and exploring the area. The main access routes are the NY-17 E, Palisades Interstate Pkwy S and FDR Dr. We strongly recommend a 4x4 or a car with four-wheel drive, especially in winter, to handle snow and gravel roads and the steep driveway at the property.
