Spent a wonderful Christmas at the Red Cottage making lots of family memories. Kitchen was well-equipped, all spaces clean, fireplace and hot tub both used a lot! Nice quiet location and comfortable living spaces made for a cozy winter escape. Thank you!
Good stay, but ceiling was dripping water in some of the rooms and the basement smelled moldy. Overall spacious and nice though, with speakers and a Wii provided as well as various toys and more.
Our family had a wonderful weekend away! The home is secluded and cozy. The kids loved the playroom and bunking in one room was so fun. It was the perfect spot for our getaway.

The house is absolutely beautiful. The wood finishes throughout give it a cozy, authentic cabin feel—exactly the vibe we were hoping for. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the kitchen had the essentials needed to prepare simple home-style meals.\n\nWe deducted one star for a few small, non-critical reasons. Before our stay, I asked multiple times about a few kitchen items that would make cooking easier, but unfortunately didn’t receive a response. Also, the number of towels provided was not enough for 8 adult guests—ideally, there should be at least 2 towels per person (or more), especially when using the jacuzzi daily like we did.\n\nThe flannel sheets have seen better days. They are heavily covered in pilling (those tiny fabric balls), which made them feel a bit rough on the skin. Some of the sheets were also microfiber instead of cotton, which in winter causes noticeable static electricity. In our opinion, 100% cotton sheets are the best choice.

The cabin was lovely! Nestled away in the woods off a very quiet road. Seeing the foliage from the hot tub was perfection. Would definitely book again!
We had an incredible stay at the Red Cottage. The house was absolutely beautiful and so clean. We really appreciated all the details that went into decorating and stocking the home, it really added to our experience. The hot tub, fire pit, the telescope, the instruments, and the many comfortable couches to name a few. Communication was also quick, easy, and friendly! Highly recommend a stay at the Red Cottage!
We stayed at the Red Cottage located at 306 Pucky Road in Bethel, NY. The space was awesome as was the surroundings. The beds were comfortable. The jacuzzi was new and worked great. I can recommend some outdoor seating on the deck where the jacuzzi is located. There were no chairs to sit and enjoy the views. An outdoor dining table would ba e been great on the deck as well. All in all it was a beautiful property and would would book the Red Cottage again. The communication with the property was also outstanding.
