Great house, appliances a pain. Overall recommend. The house was great, had a lot of kid friendly things to do. Wish we would have been there when warmer and the pool open. The biggest gripe I would have is trying to use the appliances was a pain! It was almost like everyday they would reset. It took us 15 minutes to figure out the oven and then the next day didn’t work. The basement was amazing and had sooo many kids toys and had a lot of pack n plays that we didn’t know where there. I would definitely stay again but would ask for all the appliances to be working and had a binder with instructions handy.

Can't wait to come back! We had a great time with our little kiddos - there is a trampoline and a zip line and a basement full of toys. A super fun getaway for all!

Great Family Friendly Home! We go to the south shores of Michigan every year with family and extended family. This year we had 2 infants in addition to our 2 young children plus adults. The house has wonderful family friendly amenities, especially the pool and trampoline! The kids also loved the zip line. There really isn’t beach access beyond driving to the public beach (10 minute drive), but we didn’t mind with the heated pool in the back which was more convenient for the children. There is a swingset, but it wasn’t secured into the ground and wasn’t suitable for swinging. Still overall we loved the property and would definitely stay again!

Great Family Vacation We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It’s close to many restaurants and the beach and a zoo and we took it all in. The house itself is spacious and there was plenty of room for my whole family. We used all the facilities. The pool was extremely clean and heated to the right temperature. We used the hot tub, drove the golf cart, we used the firepit outside. We enjoyed it all! A great space for young kids and the basement was an added surprise with lots of toys. The garage has multiple toys as well. I would highly recommend for a family vacation!!

Perfect weekend! This was absolutely the ideal retreat to spend my mothers 80th birthday surrounded by family. We enjoyed the house, the pool and the hot tub. Property manager was available whenever we had a question. Very easy, relaxing weekend at this beautiful home. Thank you all.

August vacation Not the best first impression of a VRBO. Dirty underwear on the pool deck, not ours! Broken pool door, no power to the pool light so night swim was a bit of a challenge. Lights burnt out and just about ALL carpeting needs to be cleaned. Found issues throughout the week and In constant touch with property manager who did a nice job in trying to make it right. For the money it was below average and chances of doing it again would be low. Especially when your paying $450 to clean it. Lots of pieces in the house and no real full sets of eating utensils etc. I would take a week and get this home back up to par. Great location when coming from Illinois and nice to get family and friends together.

Great end of summer getaway We've stayed here for 3 years in a row and each time we are so happy with our stay. The house is amazing with enough space for our extended family. We spend most of our time at the pool enjoying the sun and outdoor fun!

A wonderful weekend!! Our family celebrated a birthday this past weekend and we had the best time! The house was equipped with everything you needed and our grandchildren had the equivalent to their own playground with swings, trampoline, slides ,and of course, the pool!! Heather was so eager so helpful and great to work with! Just an awesome time! Thank you!!!!

Beautiful property! We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our children & grandchildren and we were absolutely thrilled with this home! There is plenty of room, children friendly and the pool & hot tub were wonderful! The gates to the yard/pool are child proof and made our stay stress free. Best vacation ever!

Fabulous family vacation spot We had a wonderful time; the property was beautiful and as described. It was well-stocked with beach towels, indoor and outdoor toys, paper products, etc.. The pool and outdoor activities for the kids were perfect! The location was convenient, quiet and the neighborhood was lovely. We definitely want to return!

Great family vacation Had such a great time enjoying this property with family! It’s perfect for kids and such a short trip from Chicago! This is our second time staying here and we had a wonderful time the property has everything you need for a great relaxing vacation.

wonderful for the kids Wonderful property with EVERYTHING for a family with young kids. Kids spoons, kids toys, perfect pool, perfect yard, plenty of room and beds, clear instructions abound. High chairs available, cribs available, extra refrigerator, and child gates galore to put parents at ease with the pool. Short walk to amazing views of the lake. Also, Heather was wonderful to deal with. One note: trampoline on premise requires a lot of parental attention along with pool, so be prepared that the property includes a large trampoline in addition to the amazing pool and deck.

PERFECT for families! This house is absolutely beautiful but especially perfect for families with kids. Our kids (ages 3-8) were in heaven in the backyard/pool area and basement. It was super clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!

A great family friendly property This is our 2nd time staying at this property. It is a great property for families (private pool, trampoline, fire pit) with plenty of space for everyone and kitchen well stocked. Heather was a pleasure to work with, very responsive to our questions and rectified any issues.

Amazing property This Place is amazing! The living space is perfect for a group and the pool and outdoor space can’t be beat. So many fun activities for kids in the backyard in addition to the pool which was perfect. They really had everything our family needed including baby monitors which was a huge help bc we forgot ours. Overall a great place that made for a perfect weekend getaway.

Girls weekend Great home and great stay. Everything you need is there would just say that there is not a beach you can walk to that is close. The look out point you can walk to is all rocks. Beautiful but just not a beach trip. Loved loved the backyard! Had a great stay!

Great girls weekend getaway! Beautiful place with lots of great amenities. Pool and screened in porch are so nice. Loved the fire pit too! Plenty of room to spread out, close to town and just a short walk to see the water. We had a great time!

Great option for an executive retreat Wonderful experience with this property and host. We did an weekend executive retreat for 8 adults here and the home was perfect for us. Lots of room in both the open-concept living area as well as the outside pool area for a group of our size. Plus the home is located very close to downtown and the marina which offered us a lot of options for restaurants and activities etc.. Winner!
