Hébergement parfaitement placé, propre et fonctionnel, mais mérite un peu d'entretien... ! Positive: Très bon emplacement, on peut accéder au centre de Calgary à pied sans problème. De nombreux restaurants à proximité. 2 chambres bien distinctes, appartement très bien isolé et sécurisé. Negative: Canapé d'appoint très limite en taille en confort...! Ca passe pour une jeune enfant mais pas plus! Equipements un peu vieillissants (machine à laver la vaisselle défectueuse, plusieurs "crochets" et porte serviette avec du jeu dans les placos. A savoir... 2 salles de bain... mais 1 seule douche! Dommage, surtout qd on est 5 et qu'on choisi l'appartement justement parce qu'il y a 2 salles de bain!
Fine. Positive: Spacious, well equipped, walkable distance from the city centre and supermarkets. Negative: I would not call it super clean or new but overall it was bearable and fine for my family. Instruction about keys were confusing.
Staycation to Calgary The checking was not very smooth. The instructions provided was not accurate and did not contain all the details we need. 1) The email stated the fob to enter the garage was in the unit. It was not but attached to the set of keys to the unit. 2) No instructions on the parking stall. I had to call to ask where we can park and wait to be given the stall number. They are charging just like a hotel, parking is not included but cost $20 per night. 3)There is no view to look at from the unit. There is a giant concert wall on one side and the other building units on the other side. 4) They have the most uncomfortable couch and small for a family of 4 to relax on for the evening. 5)We had to do our best to child proof the space: glass coffee table, glass dinner table. 6) They need to change their check out time to 11 am instead of 10 am. For a family of four with two young children, it was not enough time to wake up, cook a meal and tidy up. Overall, great place for a couple or single individual that only needs a place in downtown Calgary for sleeping. Unit is very clean, enough clean towels for two nights and with everything we needed to cook.
Positive: Location was convenient, less than 15 minute walk to the Telus Convention Centre. Beds were comfortable, and there was lots of natural light from the large windows. Negative: The views were not amazing - the unit was on the 5th floor and faced another building, so that was disappointing. The couch was quite worn, and uncomfortable. The dishwasher top rack guides were broken, so it was difficult to load and unload. Also the soap got stuck in the dispenser every time, and half the dishes required hand-washing afterwards. I had problems with the check-in process, and accessing the unit on arrival. Check-out was awkward, as I had to leave the parkade and then go back up to the unit to leave the keys - and there was nowhere to park while I did that!
From start to finish this was a pretty terrible experience. The hosts was not flexible with the check-in time and only provided check-in instructions 2 hours or so before the designated time. There was only 1 set of keys available for 3 people which was very surprising given that the place is listed to accommodate 4. The host was unable to provide an extra set of keys despite asking for this in advance. Then, the AC was broken and the condo was at 28.5 degrees, which was completely uninhabitable. For 4 (business) days the host was saying it was being repaired and a technician was coming, but no one ever showed up. The host clearly had no intention of ever fixing anything and I am pretty sure I was speaking with an AI for the most part. Would not recommend, it was completely unreasonable to live in a condo at 28.5 degrees and the host misled us in saying it was being repaired.
Well,I found this place is very affordable and close to all locations like restaurants,mall and so many places to visit. Place is really nice and peaceful.Everything well organized and I will definitely love to rebook if I get a chance to come to Calgary again.
Overall really great stay!! So much to do in the area, great location to walk from, enjoy restaurants and downtown. Ample towels and other amenities. Great value, great location and would recommend.

We made the best of it. I wouldnt call it upscale thought. Needs some TLC. Host was responsive Positive: The location was good. Walking to a lot of restaurants and cafes Negative: There is two bathrooms. Only one has a shower. It did not drain well. First time showering the water gathered up to your ankles during shower. Took some time to drain. Not pleasant for my partner next to shower after me. Also water was very hot in shower. Needed to be careful not to get burned. Brought to attention of host. He replied promptly and said he could send someone to have a look. We choose for them to come after our stay as we did not want to have anyone in our space while not there. After reading further reviews this seems to be an ongoing issue. You only get one FOB for entry into building and floor to room. Silly as were two people. We could never go out separately and if we did we needed to communicate when back so to have access back into condo building. Really needed two. Asked and was told only get one. Shower rod was rusty. Electric tea kettle needs to be thrown out was scaley. Carpet in hallway was old and dirty with rips ( not hosts fault) building maintenance. Elevators super slow. Baseboards were all dusty and dirty. There was hot water mixing into cold water at kitchen sink tap. Couldn't get cold water. Some small things addressed can make a big impact.

The Great Escape Positive: The location was great! It was a nice apartment and was quite comfortable. Negative: The check in process was insane. You had to complete a boarding pass and then go to a separate location (a store) to pick up keys. To pick the keys up, you needed a a code which you have to the cashier. It was all a bit ridiculous to be honest. We were only left with one and a half rolls of toilet paper to do 3 people for two nights. We had to go buy our own. Also, you had to take a picture of the keys as you left, which meant going up after loading the car with luggage. It was fine because there were three of us, but had it just been me, it would have been very inconvenient! O

No pillow protectors.stained pillow with body oudour from previous occupent. Stained sheets with hair from previous occupants. Under the bed rubbish. It appeared bed linen was not changed and bedrooms not cleaned.
All okay Positive: Comfy bed and nice big place :) clean Negative: Almost all the blinds are broken so forget about the view and just broken towel hooks and just needs a little work It took us almost 50 minutes to complete the check in because we had to drive around to find a counter and say a magic code . Was way too stressful to start our stay and made us late to our show. Then we finally got everything sorted and found out we had to pay more money for parking.
Had a great stay! Was easy to access instructions on check-in were clear. We did have one hiccup on check out though as we were instructed to leave the keys in the unit but it was not made clear that you need to get your car out of the parkade before leaving the keys behind. We got stranded in the lobby and couldn’t get back up to the unit as we didn’t have the fob, also couldn’t get down into the parkade without the fob. Luckily a gentleman who lives in the building was nice enough to let us into the parkade to get our vehicle. Other than this the unit was decent and overall quite clean. I would happily stay here again.

It was our first experience with Vrbo. Appartmen downtown of Calgary had 10 points raiting and we had zero hesitation to book it. Then it started. Vrbo charged us fee to book. Then property manager was sending links to charge for first night....then again for second night, then parking fee and damage deposit. All understandable, could have been taken as one charge.The property wasn't clean. All window blinds were dusty and broken . Dark bedding wasn't looking fresh. We wasn't being able to enjoy with balcony , as I mentioned before, blinds on balcony door were broken. Main bathroom had completely broken towel rod lots of dust and rustI don't know , how this place is rated 10 out of 10??!! And now we are being charged extra money for nothing. Our credit card has editional 175 charge for what? The worst experience ever...

This was by far the worst Airbnb I’ve stayed in & I do not recommend it. After booking, we learned check-in required walking 10 minutes to another location to pick up keys. The provided link for underground parking was useless; no payment option existed so we had to park on the street. Upon entry, we were met with an overwhelming odor of cigarette smoke & a hockey gym bag that lingered in the bedding, towels & furniture. Cleanliness was nonexistent - crumbs, stains, a dirty Kleenex under the uncomfortable couch that had a metal rod running throughout. Hair & dirt on the rug, random stains on the bedding, walls & ceiling, & dust on nearly every surface. A sticker on the fridge telling guests to leave high ratings felt highly inappropriate. After only 2 hours, we left & booked a hotel at 3 a.m. Hosts showed zero concern for our experience & only cared about the keys.Unclean, unprofessional - never again. Only pro was location. I’d have a lot more to say more if there weren’t a word count

Good property and location but management company could try harder! Positive: Location is very good for downtown Calgary. Property is well equipped. Negative: Management company looking after the property in Calgary were not very helpful when it came to gaining access. However they were very communicative when it came to leaving to ensure we left the place just right!

Positive: The apartment was adequate for our needs. Decent location and facilities. Liked that it had a washing machine and dryer. Negative: This definitely is not a luxury condo. My definition of luxury is above the standard of others of the same type. This was not that. The couch/lounge suite was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat on and we ended up going to bed to watch television! The beds were ok, but wouldn't call them comfortable either. Providing basic breakfast provisions (bread, milk, cereal, jam, juice) for the first morning would help set this apart from others and offer a bit of luxury. Especially for international visitors that have no idea where to find groceries etc. Wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend.

Doesn't quite meet "stunning" or "upscale" but great location. Positive: The building itself is lovely—modern, secure, and in a great location. Negative: The unit doesn’t quite live up to the “upscale” description in the listing. The views, described as "stunning" left something to be desired, the views are more of the tenant patio and adjacent building. While the space is decent, the furniture is clearly dated and worn, with some pieces feeling more like leftovers than curated décor. It really brings down the overall vibe of what could be a much nicer stay. A little investment in updated furnishings and decor would make a world of difference. While the unit was "clean" the baseboards could use some attention, as well as some paint touch ups.

Nice condo in an excellent location. Positive: Excellent location, nice sized condo with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Easy check in process. Negative: Second bedroom adjacent to living room with only a sliding door for privacy. Unusually early 10am checkout time, with $25 purchase option for industry standard 11am, and $35 for noon. These can be paid for and revoked without warning, although you will be refunded. Dead batteries in the living room remote without replacements provided. Living room TV unusable for the length of stay as a result.
Pros: Great location—walking distance to bars, restaurants, and downtown/17th Ave. The unit is clean, well-maintained, and looks like the photos. Secure building with easy check-in. Cons: The unit lacks warmth and feels bare. The couch is stiff and uncomfortable, with metal bars running through the cushions. The kitchen is poorly stocked—no ice trays and minimal essentials, making it impractical for cooking. The real issue? Greed. I had a medical emergency during the first night and had to leave for the hospital, meaning I never even stayed in the unit. Despite this, the host refused a date change, even though it was Valentine’s Day weekend and could have been rebooked. Worse, they changed the door code without notice, locking me out for 1.5 hours when I returned for my luggage. I was still charged a full cleaning fee for a unit I barely used. Overall: The unit itself is decent, but the host’s lack of empathy and money-first attitude left me with a bad impression :(
Positive: This apartment was very comfortable and situated in a great spot. We took advantage of the Starbucks across the road because we had an early start. Negative: It was impossible to make payment for the secure parking. We tied on 3 different credit cards and the prompt we were given to pay never worked on any card!! We ended up parking on the street, which was not ideal.

If you are into the nightlife or pub it's on a busy street, filled with bars, pubs and a few fast food joints. Negative: There wasn't much I didn't like. Over all was a good place
Positive: The place was a bit dirty. The sheets and blankets had some stains. The toilet in main bathroom had running water issue and the shower was clogged and had a very very slow drain. We tried to clean it out otherwise you had to stand in a. Pool of water while sharing but we couldn't get the drain cap off to clean out the drain. Booking and access was easy. The space was decent.

Condo was clean and comfortable and hosts are very responsive. Little bit of a surprise to find we couldn’t park in underground parking until paying an additional fee after we’d already got into the condo (maybe I missed that in the description?) , but once that was sorted everything else was seamless. Hosts were quick to respond when we messaged and checked in later that day to make sure everything was going alright. Great hosts and a nice place in a convenient location.

Awesome place! Positive: The place was amazing, clean, comfortable, and great location with a Starbucks across the street and Stephen St. A few blocks away. Negative: Nothing wrong with the condo itself, but we forgot to lock the door one night and had someone stumble in claiming they had rented the place and that we were intruding.
THIS APARTMENT DOES NOT HAVE PROPERLY FUNCTIONING AIR CINDITIONING AS ADVERTISED IN ITS LISTING AND MANAGEMEMT WILL NOT Positive: A lively place in a good location Negative: The air conditioning, a critical amenity for me, didn't work and the apartment hovered at around 28 degrees for the first two nights. It was so uncomfortable that we had to move to a hotel to sleep the second night. It finally cooled down outside on day 3 so we were able to sleep in the apartment that night, although the AC never worked. Upstay, the management company offered to compensate us with less than one night's rental cost - not even enough to reimburse us for the hotel room we had to pay for ourselves .

Could be Great Overall, this is a nice VRBO. The best thing was the cleanliness of the apartment and the location is fantastic. Close to being a GREAT VRBO! The worst thing was how uncomfortable the furniture and beds are. We rented a movie online but the couch was so uncomfortable that none of us could sit through a movie. The beds were much too firm for our liking. If you are hoping for a place to relax, this isn’t that place. The check-in was not smooth and we waited in our vehicle for almost an hour to get a text response and instructions for check-in. It would be easy to improve this process and maybe our experience isn’t typical, but for us it was cold outside, dark, and not a smooth process. It would be nice to have a small book of information in the apartment to tell us simple things like where to take the trash to, what attractions are close, where the nearest grocery is, etc. With a little more attention to detail and quality, comfortable seating and sleeping, this VRBO would easily get 5 stars. Access to downtown Calgary is perfect and within easy walking of almost everything we did on our trip. Love the location! Plenty of room for 4 people.
