Honestly one of the best air bnb experiences my friends and I have ever had. The place is immaculate, beautifully finished and well located to lovely Woodstock. It was cosy, well equipped and just felt like home (I wish!). Highly recommend.

What a lovely house! We enjoyed the indoor/ outdoor spaces and the beautiful woods right out of the window. Perfect design for a group stay.

Really large, cool, nicely renovated place! Large kitchen had everything we need to cook 2 home dinners, with group gathering around the kitchen. Beautiful large windows full of light. Recommend!

We were extremely satisfied with this listing. All of the finishings and amenities are top notch. Really well done, and beautiful choices. Group of women were all impressed with cleanliness as well and how well appointed everything was. Would definitely recommend. And in fact, already have.

The house was extremely clean and very well thought out. It’s clear a lot of care went into the design and setup, and we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. It was spacious enough for six of us on a girls’ weekend but still felt cozy. We enjoyed visiting downtown Woodstock and trying some of the local restaurants. Mary and Red Cottage Management were responsive and helpful, and all the instructions provided were clear and detailed. The home is a smart home, so it took a little time to get used to everything, but once we did, it was a smooth stay. Overall, a great stay that I would recommend and consider returning to.

This house was THE PERFECT getaway for a girls weekend. The 5 of us were so comfortable in this modern gem that is sort of hidden in the woods. Great proximity to Woodstock and only a 2 hour drive up made it the perfect destination. We had such a great time and wouldn’t hesitate going back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay as a family of three. The home is beautiful, comfortable, impeccably clean and peacefully set in the woods. The hosts were fabulous - responsive when we needing things. We can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay yay the Red Cottage! It is tucked away in the woods off the main road, and so was peaceful with beautiful surroundings! In warmer weather the screened in porch would be amazing! All of the amenities were beautiful and the home is stunning. As FYI- The driveway up to the house, even with instructions, is hard to see. The house was out of a few things and the host had them sent to the house asap which we really appreciated!! The walking path was great for our kids, and one morning we saw a large buck in the woods. Would love to visit again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The space is stunning: every detail of the decor feels intentional and luxe, from the plush sheets to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen with high end, practical touches. The fireplace was fantastic and made cozy evenings feel extra special. The views are incredible, and the blackout curtains were a gamechanger for our toddler’s naps. Every part of the home felt welcoming and carefully considered. An extra shout out to the hosts, who were so responsive, proactive, and helpful – both before and during our stay. We really appreciated their attention to detail and kindness. We loved it and can’t wait to book again!

Had an AMAZING stay at red cottage. Was definitely the cleanest and coolest air b&b I’ve ever stayed in! The location was quiet and secluded but 5 minutes from town and close to hikes and great restaurants / attractions. The place was absolutely spotless and exactly as pictured. I wish we stayed long enough to take advantage of the amazing kitchen and outdoor space. Beds were comfy and black out shades were so great! The host was responsive and pleasant when I asked some pre check in questions. Everything was so seamless, I hope to visit again soon!

House was clean, looks like recently renovated, well-decorated. Close to Woodstock. Nice front yard with fire pit. Owners were very responsive.

We loved our stay at your beautiful home. Sitting in the living room looking out at the forest through the huge window was a highlight. As was enjoying the day on the screened in porch. If you visit make sure to take a walk on the trail through the woods.

Our stay was perfection - the house is minimalist, cozy, chic, and warm! Super clean, kitchen is well stocked, and our oldest daughter loved the "bed under the stairs" (think it's a reading nook but a perfect extra bed for a little one)! We loved the fire pit and the indoor fireplace. It was a perfect house for our fam of 4, but definitely would have worked with another small family as well! We had great dinners at Silvia and Cucina in Woodstock, the best breakfast sandwiches at Bread Alone, and loved our visit to the Catskill Animal Sanctuary which is so special for anyone with kids who love animals! Great location and vibe!

The house was serene, with huge windows that overlooked the woods. It felt very calm and peaceful. The house was well provisioned with all of the basics. All of the drawers and each room was neatly organized, and free of clutter and very clean. We went in the middle of winter and didn’t get to enjoy the porch, but I could see this would’ve definitely been an added bonus. A large screened-in porch with heaters and comfortable furniture. Also, with a huge pass-through window into the kitchen! It was a really pretty home!

The Red Cottage was a lovely place to spend some time enjoying the fall colors. The kitchen was well appointed and the hosts were very responsive with my questions. We really enjoyed the outside firepit with plentiful wood and the gas fireplace in the living room was cosy and easy to use.

We loved our stay! Cannot say enough kind things about the host and the property!

This might be my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! Even more beautiful than the photos, it is a really special home. Has everything you need and more. So friendly and helpful and great response time. I highly recommend!

We had a great experience at the Red Cottage. The amenities were as stated. The kitchen and living area was laid out beautifully. The appliances were all high end and everything you would need was there at your fingertips. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Always love having a washer and dryer, and theirs was top end. The house is an upside down house with the bedrooms on the bottom and living space on the top floor. Upstairs was light filled with big picture windows to bring in the light and great wooded views. A perfect house for a stay and we would highly recommend it and return again if we are in the area.

We LOVED this place! The house was designed and decorated beautifully and so unique. The owners were very friendly, communicative, and gave clear, simple instructions for the house, rules, etc. We would love to stay again.

Location is unmatched! Had a lovely stay! Bedrooms were comfy and cozy! We typically cook most meals on vacation and you never know what you're gonna walk into - I always travel with an egg pan and kitchen knife lol, but the kitchen was VERY well equipped with nice knives, pots pans, utensils etc. Firepit was A+ Vibes were immaculate. Highly recommend staying here :)
