Positive: The decor was fabulous. Comfortable beds. Excellent location. Negative: Although advertised as a ground floor flat, there were 6 outside steps to get in. I have a mobility strollerr which my husband carried up the steps for me, but had I been in a mobility scooter would have been snookered.

The location is perfect - we cannot fault that! However, upon arrival there was an awful fishy smell that had attempted to be masked with air fresheners. We were unsure what was causing this - it could’ve been the random freezer plugged into the living room but we are unsure! It was agreed a month before check in that a travel cot would be provided for our 8 week old son and confirmation was sent via message. However, upon check-in we couldn’t locate it. 6 hours later, the host responded to say it had been destroyed by the previous guests. Where was my son supposed to sleep? I therefore had to go out and buy one and then they refused to cover the cost - so much so that air B and B themselves had to cover this! The house was also not very clean. The floors were filthy - you should’ve seen our white socks after walking on them for an hour! There was also a lot of dust and hair around which wasn’t very nice! It’s a shame as the initial communication was great and the location was perfect!
The Zetland Building is an excellent place to stay due to its location. It is close to the town centre with its restaurants and other facilities plus being within easy walking distance of the beach. The provision of a designated space within the private car park is an added bonus. The apartment itself is on the ground floor of the building and is perfectly adequate for two people. It is clean and tidy and well appointed. The bedroom was particularly nice with a very comfy bed.
I stayed 2 weeks for work at the Zetland Hideaway. Lovely place, plenty of room and all you need is there. Location perfect near the beach. Everything was nearby. I would recommend it to all of my friends and family and network. Would definetly come back if i have the opporunity.
Booking process was simple and efficient. Self check in helped with my unpredictable schedule. The apartment, Zetland Hideaway, was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. I stayed for 3 weeks for work, had a designated car parking space which was helpful. Would recommend booking with Host & Stay for the Zetland Hideaway apartment to anyone.
Disastrous, stressful and a bad start to a celebratory weekend. Missed dinner sorting the situation Positive: N/A Negative: The fact that there was a leak from the skylight leaving water on the floor near the oven. From the stains and distortions around the skylight it was obvious that this was an old problem. Flashing ceiling lights in sitting room so didn’t feel safe
No freezer which was a disappointment

We had a beautiful stay in the Zetland Hideaway. The apartment was a great little place to stay in when visiting the beach and local town with it being in a great location. If was beautifully presented and had everything you needed for a short stay. The bed was also super comfy! The hosts were great and made everything really easy for us, we also loved the fact there was a free parking space to use in the carpark!

Positive: The accommodation was comfortable, warm , and well equipped. Everything was exceptionally clean and ready for our arrival. Having an appointed parking space was a real bonus. The apartment was very quiet, an ideal bolthole, and yet very handy for the restaurants bars of Saltburn.

This was a short but really enjoyable stay in Saltburn. The apartment was cracking. Clean, nice and spacious, well equipped and right near the glorious views over the sea. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Zetland Hideaway. The flat was easy to find with clear instructions provided about the allocated parking and how to access the key. The property was clean, nicely furnished and matched the photos. It's in a good location and we were able to walk out to local restaurants and to enjoy the funicular railway, seafront and pier. A minor issue, but we thought the kitchen could do with some extra crockery (mugs and bowls).

The accommodation was newly refurbished and very good, lovely kitchen and bathroom, nice bed and comfy sofa and large tv. Saltburn is a fantastic place although it did help that we had good weather and the location was very close to all amenities. There are no views or outside spaces if that's what you want, but it was lovely and quiet. We had an issue with some utensils not being clean, obviously left by other guests and not been checked by the cleaner but other than that a great stay !
We really enjoyed our stay at Zetland Hideaway. It's close to the local restaurants and a stone's throw from the funicular railway down to the beach and pier. The apartment itself is lovely, spacious and very much as advertised with the exception of not having a dryer for laundry (just clothes airers), otherwise we would gladly given this 5 stars across the board. We would happily stay there again (we'd just plan our luggage differently).

Positive: The property is so lovely and smart whilst also being cosy. The building itself at stunning with an amazing location that looks over the beach would definitely recommend this accommodation. It was perfect for what we needed. Negative: Not like it was a massive issue we did notice, after less than an hour of being in the property, that there was a used pair of socks hiding underneath the coffee table in the lounge area. Also maybe would have preferred a later check out time as check out was 10am but that’s just preference

Totally crap. Not cleaned, poor customer service. DO NOT USE, HOST&STAY Positive: Absolutely nothing! Not cleaned by Host & Stay. Negative: Everything! Bed already slept in, skin residue present, urine on toilet seat, towel all dirty on shower floor. Rubbish in bin not emptied. Host & Stay didn’t believe us, not offer to correct, so stayed for 30minutes, 20 of those on to Hist and Stay. Forced to find other accommodation. Will NEVER use Host&Stay again!
We had to turn around as we could not access the apartment due to being unaware that you had to confirm who you were ?! I have travelled all over the world using AirBNB and never had to verify myself before. No response from the hosts after ringing 5 times and sending messages so lost a nights stay. The apartment was in a good location but lacked in provisions - 2 teabags and 2 sachets of milk for a 3 night stay - really ! The bedroom was dusty and used toilet roll was under the bed - nice touch ! Loved Saltburn and location but didn’t rate the hosts at all - all I got was autogenerated messages from host & stay. Much prefer a human who speaks to you

Brilliant Apartment...shame about the ending!! Positive: Super Comfy Bed..amazing Decor..very grand..super hot shower..easy access to Town..Free Parking Negative: The seat in the shower was an eyesore.. & dirty!! The floor in the lounge was noisy! like walking on Rice Krispies.. no instructions for the coffee machine....dont presume we all have one! On the day we left at 8am a group of sweary scaffolders turned up & proceeded noisily to erect scaffolding outside our kitchen window & above the skylight..great end to a peaceful stay...maybe a bit of warning!!
The apartment is in a wonderful location, very clean and bright. Bathroom and kitchen are very modern and clean. Really easy to walk everywhere - location is excellent. We had a minor issue checking in with keys but the team were responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Zetland Hideaway Positive: Accommodation was nice and clean, close to beaches, restaurants, bars, and shops. Would book again. Negative: Bed was a little bit uncomfortable, and blinds did not stop the morning light from coming in. Need some black out curtains.
Great location near to bars and restaurants also well equipped for self catering. Positive: The kitchen was well equipped and manuals were available for appliances. There was some tea bags, coffee pods and milk jiggers provided. The TV and sky were easy to operate and WiFi was good. The kitchen shower room and bathroom were very clean. Linen and towels were well laundered.Parking spaces are allocated by apartment number so no problems going out and getting back in. Negative: The internal doors to bedroom and living room could not be closed probably needed shaving down when carpet was fitted. The heating only worked for about ten mins after much faff on each attempt using instructions. The laminate floor in the living room crackles every time it is walked on as if not fitted properly. The bedroom was not so clean, a previous occupant had written 'clean me' on the wall lights. The bed was big and heavy so we could not move it to vac behind but the bedside cabinets could have been pulled out to clean. The position of the bed left a very small gap to squeeze through between bed and wardrobe problematic in dark.
A beautiful, well designed apartment in the most amazing building! We so enjoyed our stay here- the apartment is literally a stones throw away from independent bars, shops and places to eat and offered everything we needed for a long weekend. Beautiful decor, great amenities and excellent communication with the host. We’ll definitely be staying again 😊

great accommodation, central and very clean. Positive: fantastic property and very well located for train station and local restaurants. Negative: one aspect that could be improved are the blinds in the bedroom as sunlight streams through them from around 4:30am - blackout blinds would make a huge difference.

Host company very efficient with communications before and during our stay. Well appointed apartment with parking very close, making our stay very comfortable. General cleanliness was of a high standard, so it was disappointing to find that the microwave was still full of crumbs. Generally plenty of fixtures and equipment, but the cutlery available was very limited - four settings of knives/forks/dessertspoons, but only three teaspoons - a bit light for self-catering cooking. The only kitchen linen provided was one small tea towel. There was no oven glove, posing a safety hazard when dealing with hot plates of food. Potential tripping hazard between the kitchen and lounge areas: a step, although not full height and this caught us out on more than one occasion when carrying items to the table. The step edge needs highlighting for safety reasons. Broken dishwasher reported on our first day but unfortunately not fixed before we left. Overall very happy with our stay. Thank you!

This apartment was in the best location. Lots of bars and eateries within a few strides of the door and the views from the front of the main building were amazing. Good clear instructions and easy to get to with an allocated parking spot. The apartment was very clean and tidy and the shower was great. Only disappointment was the smell of dogs as soon as you opened the front door, and no easy way to open the windows to freshen the air. Otherwise a fantastic short break.
Just as described in the advert, beautiful place, within walking distance to all amenities. Great shower and comfy bed. everything you need for that home from home experience.
