Perfect! Positive: We have just got home from our 2-night stay at The Chapel and we wished we could have stayed longer!! Absolutely beautiful building and decor - it is much bigger than we expected too. The Chapel is so characterful with lots of history, and the furnishings inside are stunning. We had everything we needed during our stay. Very comfortable beds, clean and so cosy and warm. The Crown pub a short walk down the road is a great place to eat too - gorgeous food and friendly staff. (Also dog friendly!) Negative: Nothing.

We want a weekend away at a venue with 3 separate bedrooms and a few bathrooms Well the chapel delivered everything we wanted It was such a quirky and homely place And had everything you would need for a longer stay than we had It was perfect for us We took my son’s dog with us and again the chapel was very dog friendly and a secure garden. We would definitely love to say again in the future

We absolutely loved our stay at The Chapel! We only stayed two nights and we wish we had longer. The whole property is adorned with beautiful furnishings from top to toe. There is so much history and we loved every bit of it! We booked the property for my mother in law’s 60th birthday getaway, and played the Traitors board game, in perfectly themed surroundings! A brilliant location for going to Wells next the Sea and Holkham for the day with the dogs. Also, a short drive to Sandringham. We will definitely be coming back as this is now a family favourite of ours! We felt right at home. Thanks so much.

We had a fabulous time at The Chapel and would definitely stay again. The property is spacious and quirky with lots of nods towards the history of the place - which as a heritage professional I loved. Bathrooms were high quality and finished extremely well, as were all the other rooms. We loved the double landing and stairwell, and the roll top baths were a lovely treat. It really had everything we needed. A tiny amendment needs to be made to the listing as it currently says there is no WiFi (and I had a slight panic on the drive there when I realised I booked a property with no WiFi and two teenage boys to entertain) but the WiFi code was at the property waiting for us, so it might be worth including this in the list of amenities. Communication with the host was easy and everything was effortless in terms of instructions and entry to the property. Lots to do in Norfolk and the immediate area so all in all a great trip.

The Chapel has been tastefully decorated and is well situated to explore North Norfolk. We enjoyed cycling through the country lanes, swimming at the beaches (Wells, Sheringham, Cromer), visiting various National Trust Properties and enjoying a river cruise on the Broads. There’s a local pub and grocery store as well as larger supermarkets in nearby Fakenham. Charlie, from Host and Stay, responded effectively and promptly to any issues we had.

Thank you for a great stay at the Chapel. It was an interesting and quirky historic property. It was the perfect base for exploring the Norfolk countryside and beaches. We loved the Crown Inn and there was easy parking in the lay-by. We enjoyed visiting local National Trust properties. Thanks again.

Beautiful place to stay. Situated in a peaceful village within easy distance to multiple beaches. The nearby pub and Chinese restaurant/takeaway are definitely worth trying. The property was spacious with lots of character and the bedrooms and bathrooms were delightful, very clean.The kitchen had everything we needed, although the salt cellar was missing from the spice rack🤔.

Beautiful old converted chapel, full of character. More spacious than we imagined, lovely large bedrooms, beds and baths. Perfect location near Houghton Hall and with a great pub just a stones throw away. Will stay again & would highly recommend

The family enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable at all times and the local pub served great food Positive: The accommodation was full of character and spacious. We had everything we needed facilities wise and it felt like "home from home. The bedrooms were comfortable and cosy, given how large they were compared to places I've stayed before. Negative: The gate to the Garden area was a little low if you have an athletic dog and the main road could be busy at times.

A lovely, slightly quirky property being an old chapel. Excellently placed for exploring the North Norfolk coast. A very nice pub within short walking distance

It was an ideal base from which to visit Sandringham flower show ,perfect for a 2 night stay. Positive: Location , space within the property , 2 roll top baths, more than one bathroom , clean and tidy Negative: Only one hand towel between two people Untidy garden with very uneven slabs along side and back. No welcome pack ,even a small bottle of milk in the fridge would have been nice especially after travelling on a hot day ( didn’t pass a shop near enough to get some ) Written information in a folder would have been nice regarding history of the building , rules of the house, a bit about the immediate location , places near to eat /drink e.g the excellent Crown just a 10 mins walk down the road and any local farm shops I didn’t like that some of this relied on messages on my phone.

Disgusting avoid at all costs Positive: Village pub was excellent Negative: Nothing to like - not fit for purpose! Never been 4 star! outside area unusable due to weeds, dirty furniture, leaking stench pipe with sewerage leaking down the pipe and leaking water pipe that gushes out when bath is emptied. This is all in the supposedly relaxing garden !- see photos but unable to add more than 4 or the video of the leaking pipe! Inside was full of cobwebs, fusty, furniture was old, sagging and very uncomfortable. Only 3 usable cups for a 6 person property. Shower tray fills with water. We have tried to rectify issues with Host and Stay who have failed to meet their own resolution timescales. Responses are all AI. This property and the management was a disgrace! Absolutely mis sold on all fronts. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The place is nicely situated and has a unique vibe to it. Also very close to the beach. The property is very spacious and well equipped and very peaceful. Just very quite warm. The host, Charlie, was very helpful and responsive.

Wonderful 4 nights in The Chapel Positive: Beautiful old converted chapel with beautiful interiors and plenty of space, car parking in the lay by and wi-fi. Superb main room, kitchen and 3 large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Nice location close to Sandringham, King's Lynn and the coast. The welcoming Crown Inn was only a few hundred metres away, serving nice food and drinks. Negative: The en-suite bedroom toilet, bath and shower was open plan with no door to close between the bedroom and the bathroom.

Beautiful place and very well equipped. We situated to get to multiple beaches and local pubs. Would love to come back at some point!

Great place to stay

Such a unique stay in the chapel. So peaceful and the bedrooms are gorgeous with not one but two free standing baths! Feels like a an elevated place to stay and I loved the history and the references to deeds etc in frames on the wall l. Lovely village too with nice pub and walks. Lovely

What a brilliantly unique stay. An old chapel with antique an heritage furniture and decor mixed with contemporary finishes upstairs. The bedroom with not one but two standing baths were really special, super comfortable and very good looking. In a lovely village with a nice and welcoming pub, gloriously green and very peaceful. Easy drive to other towns and villages and local farm shops and cafes. Wonderful place.

A cold and damp experience. No heating or hot water. Positive: There was nothing to like as the boiler failed and it ruined our holiday Negative: The boiler was not working. It took a day and a half to fix. The property was cold and damp. No heating and no hot water. This should have been tested by the agents beforehand. Extremely disappointing experience

We enjoyed our stay at The Chapel. It is well placed to explore Norfolk. It is possible to walk to two pubs from The Cha Positive: Lovely quirky old chapel. Full of character. Plenty of space but very warm and cosy. Negative: The Chapel stands back from a main road but it was surprisingly noisy and busy from early morning . The heating was very efficient. In fact we found it almost too warm .although the instructions said we could control the temperature by adjusting the thermostat it would not go any lower.

The house is lovely but it is NOT in Snettisham, it is in East Rudham!

We had a lovely stay here and the house is very characterful and cosy and beautifully designed.

We had a great stay at The Chapel. It was very easy to find (I’d ignore the reviews saying otherwise), a great sized space, and was conveniently located for easy access to surrounding towns.

The Chapel was a very stylish and comfortable place to stay. Kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we needed.

The host was unhelpful when things went wrong and they pinned the location in the wrong place. It was nowhere near the location listed on Airbnb.

Great stay; the place was better than the pictures which says something.
