Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was spacious for the 4 of us and we enjoyed the beautiful views and sunsets. The communication between the host was great and responsive. We were surprised at how well-stocked the house was and were happy to see the variety of books and games for our kids. The house is only a 10 minute drive from nearby restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed our weekend so much that we plan to be back here in the summer!
The Hemlock Cliff house did not disappoint! I chose this house in particular for its views and beautiful interiors. It was perfect place to end our year together as a family. The house was spotless and we all felt right at home.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The house is in great condition, had the right level of amenities and felt like a little oasis. Red cottage’s communication was phenomenal and service was top notch. We’d love to bring our family back. Beds were comfortable and peaceful and space was perfect. Loved the fire pit, binoculars and warm blankets provided. We got to see all kinds of nature, porcupines, various birds, squirrels, etc. Super close to many attractions and 5 min from narrowsburg.
What an amazing stay! My family and I stayed for a peaceful wrap to Spring Break and were totally blown away. The rare breathtaking view alone was beyond worth the trip from NYC. Tons of fresh air and adventurous experiences for the kids and a serene break for my husband and I. The house was impeccable from its modern style and furnishings, open layout, lux family-centered kitchen and living space and beautiful views from all bedrooms with plush bedding. Booking, chk-in, chk-out and all in-between response times were immediate and easy. Thank you for the ultimate getaway!
Stunning house. So beautiful I was sad to leave I should’ve stood longer. Everything was exactly as described, very clean loved that the bathroom has heated floors. Felt right at home. Will definitely stay again. It gave me & my family peace of mind so relaxing.

My husband and I stayed here as a getaway to celebrate our anniversary and we were blown away. This is the best airbnb we have ever stayed at by a long shot. They put so much care into every detail to allow for the best experience. Even something as simple as the binoculars provided prove that they want each visitor to enjoy the house and the location to the fullest. The house itself is beautifully designed and thoughtful, as is the back patio and landscaping. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms luxurious, and the views from every window are stunning. We had every amenity we needed and some! The town of Narrowsburg is so easy to get to and offers great shops and restaurants. We highly recommend going The Heron at least once. The communication with the Red Cottage was very thorough and timely with clear guidelines and directions. We felt well taken care of the entire time. We will definitely be back!
My friends and I had a wonderful time here over the weekend. The house is in a quiet and secluded spot with amazing views. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some good meals and the wood burning stove was a nice touch. Red Cottage was super communicative, especially as our stay coincided with some bad winter weather, and made sure we were prepared. I would definitely stay again!
The design of the house and the location/surroundings/views are the highlights of an incredibly pleasant stay here! From start to finish, this was a wonderful trip. The host is extremely responsive, flexible, and helpful. The house and the views were exactly as promised and stunning. This house is ideal if you're seeking some relaxation and isolation. The area is very charming, with friendly people and a few standout restaurants and shops, but it is fairly remote and the nearest towns are quite small. If you're looking for some time by yourself or with some good friends to enjoy nature and the views, I can hardly think of a better option.
My best friend and I spent 4 idyllic pre-Christmas days in this stunning cabin. The photos don't do it justice! Beautifully furnished with great design touches, it's spacious and incredibly well-equipped. Waking up to those valley views was breathtaking. The surrounding nature is so peaceful and serene – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The property management team was super responsive and helpful. Can't wait to return in the spring! Highly recommend!

It is an absolutely gorgeous home, full of thoughtful details to enhance your stay, and it is expertly maintained by the Red Cottage team, who are gracious and responsive hosts. The best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had! This home exceeded every expectation I had—and then some. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The house is immaculate—very clean, beautifully styled, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. You can feel how much care the owners have put into making this space truly welcoming and luxurious. The view alone is unforgettable. Waking up in the master bedroom to that breathtaking panorama is something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. It truly felt like waking up inside a dream. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked, making it easy and enjoyable to cook or entertain. There’s also a fantastic library with books for every taste and age—a rare and lovely touch. Everything you could possibly need or imagine was already there, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. The host/property manager was kind, responsive, and made everything smooth from start to finish. 100 out of 10. Highly recommend!!
The home and setting are breathtaking. I can’t imagine a better view anywhere in the Catskills. We had a hectic few weeks prior to our visit and this house was perfect. Restaurants we visited: Blue Fox, The Laundrette and Cochecton Fire Station, highly recommend all of them. We hope to return in the fall.
We were desperately in need of an escape from the chaos of the city. We stumbled upon Hemlock Cliff House near the town of Narrowsburg (which was completely foreign to us) and this property delivered on everything that we were seeking for an extended weekend getaway with the sole goal of experiencing tranquility. The house sits atop a beautiful cliff overlooking the Delaware river along with the valley. The picturesque views were so surreal and the valley was sprawling with eagles gracefully gliding by. One time we counted a total of 6! We greatly enjoyed our stay and Red Cottage played an active role in ensuring we arrived okay, that the stay met our expectations, etc. Before our stay concluded we were already discussing future dates for our return. We can’t wait to experience Hemlock Cliff House once again. Hopefully sooner than later!
Fancy, but not Functional. Unfortunately, this stay didn’t feel worth it when factoring in the price, drive, and location. We encouraged several minor issues, such as issues with the lock, snow piling in front of the windows and back door, and a faulty shower head. However, our biggest issue occurred when we received snow on 2 days of our stay. The driveway is long & steep at points making it critical for it to be plowed in the weather conditions we faced. However, even in light of the season, management only left us 1/4 of a bag of ice melt & one shovel. When we reached out to them to inquire about plowing services or additional snow equipment, we didn’t receive an answer for 27 hours which conveniently came after the automated check-out message. At that point we already shoveled as much as we could & were forced to leave our car the end of the driveway for our entire stay. We administered this feedback to them as well and highly recommend they prioritize experience over aesthetic.

Situated beautifully, nearby to charming Narrowsburg and all the essentials (grocery store, etc.), very tastefully decorated, super well stocked, clean. I could go on. Clear communication from the host was another plus. Would stay again!

The house is beautiful from the outside, set in a stunning location with great views. It was clean and lovely overall, but the finishing left something to be desired. Unfortunately, one of the two showers in the house was broken and wasn’t fixed during our stay, while the other shower drained very slowly, requiring time between uses. The furniture was fine but not particularly comfortable, more on the basic Ikea side. While that’s not a dealbreaker, at the high price point, we expected a more luxurious experience. Overall, the property is proper and functional but feels closer to Ikea than luxury.”

We had a fabulous stay at Red Cottage - a beautiful, thoughtfully designed home with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Despite an unseasonably late rain/snowstorm local area power outages, we had such a lovely time and our hosts could not have been more responsive or helpful. Highly recommend!

It's an amazing location for a chill weekend. The views are awesome and the home is full of cozy areas to hang out in. Also, the outdoor patio is a great place to make a fire and enjoy the sunset. Will be back. Highly recommend!

Stayed here in January. The house was warm and comfortable. Everything is very new and in good condition. The house was clean and there was a good amount of cleaning and kitchen supplies. The outdoor area was very nice, although we didn't have the opportunity to use it.

Very beautifully and thoughtfully designed house with an unbelievable south western view overlooking the Delaware river. Very easy to find and only a few minutes from Narrowsburg where there are some nicer restaurants and shopping. Check in and communication with the host was quick and easy. We enjoyed our time there and will visit again.
