Duck Pond Lodge is a picturesque countryside retreat surrounded by tall trees with classic hand-hewn log exterior, an ivy-clad brick chimney, large windows and exposed log beams throughout. This home sets the scene for cozy mornings with coffee on the covered front porch and peaceful evenings surrounded by nature on the deck. To the left, a cozy living room invites you to curl up with its stone fireplace and comfy seating — a true haven after a day outdoors. There is also a bathroom with a shower/tub combo, as well as the staircase leading to the bedrooms.

Upstairs, three charming bedrooms await. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, the second offers a queen size bed, and the third is furnished with a double bed — perfect for a child or an extra guest.

The deck overlooks the fire pit and offers a grill, a picnic-style dining table, and is lined with warm bistro lights that create a magical atmosphere for evening gatherings or simply soaking up the serene forest views. Duck Pond Lodge is just 2 hours from New York City. A car is essential for getting there and exploring the area. The main access routes are the I-87 S, Palisades Interstate Pkwy S and Taconic State Pkwy. We strongly recommend a 4x4 or a car with four-wheel drive, especially in winter, to handle snow and gravel roads.

Heating & Cooling: The property is equipped with split unit systems. There is one unit downstairs, one in each bedroom, and one heat unit in the bathroom.
