Comforting and inviting My children and I were very grateful to have this place to stay and it was very comfortable for us while we waited to move into our home. It was clean and provided necessities as well as extras to make our stay enjoyable

Booked the place for a 6 days working vacation with the family, some of us had to log into work. The place was not difficult to find. Don't get taken in by the boarded shop in front, the place is spacious and clean. The doors were unlocked , tried the security code and the alarm started ringing and kept on for a long time, no way to stop it. Wifi username/password didn't work. There was half a roll of toilet paper for 6 days for the family. I tried getting in touch with the host for the next 36 hours. They responded after and tried to fix through additional instructions. said they would send mechanic, I waited for them but no one showed up. By that time 2 days was over and I had to log into work so vacated the place after 2 days. Airbnb support tried to help, but couldn't do much, they were also not able to connect with the Host. Other guests mentioned the front door lock situation, others have commented about missing condiments(Sugar..etc), wifi was a deal breaker for me.

Comfortabel en daarmee heel relaxt! Positive: Heel schoon en fris, ruim opgezet en heerlijke bedden met fijn beddengoed. Koelkast was mooi schoon (dat hebben we op andere plekken in Canada wel anders gezien) Wifi was super! Genoeg handdoeken, voldoende serviesgoed en ook nog een Netflix account. Negative: Helaas was de vaatwasser stuk, dat was jammer maar zeker niet onoverkomelijk. Alle administratieve stappen die nodig waren om te boeken vonden we oncomfortabel, maar uiteindelijk is ook dat gelukt.

Pleasant stay in Bobcaygeon, great space, just a few updates needed to improve the experience. Positive: Good space for our party of 6 and had all the basic amenities, including three separate bedrooms and central location in the town. Negative: A couple minor points, would have been nice if there were spare linens/blankets; also the baseboard heaters were quite loud, clicking throughout the night. A more significant issue was one the bed in one of the bedrooms, it was sagging in the middle, no support in the middle needs a box spring or spine to make the bed more comfortable for guests).

Kitchen needs very important basic items, I did leave a list.

We loved this property, absolutely stunning. So clean so private. If I could give this property a 10 star I would. We definitely recommend this property and will do to all of our friends and family. The beds were so comfortable excellent sleep. The host replies quickly. Thank you for being such awesome hosts!!!

Points négatifs : Nous n'avons pas eu accès au wifi, les hôtes prenaient du temps à nous répondre, une équipe devait venir mais ne s'est jamais présentée. Pas suffisamment de vaisselle pour la capacité, le poêle et la hotte du poêle étaient sales, moisissures dans la salle de bain, les escaliers ne sont pas sécuritaires pour les personnes âgées car aucune rampe, l'air climatisé est très bruyant, l'espace pour la laveuse-secheuse est trop étroit pour ouvrir la porte de la laveuse. Points positifs : l'appartement est spacieux et bien éclairé, secteur silencieux.

Big, clean bit kitchen not well stocked The location is not great or charming at all. It’s above an old closed convenience store. Neighbors out back are a bit rough and there is nothing charming about the immediate area. The kitchen was frustrating to try to cook in because there were basics missing like a can opener, baking pans, etc. the real zinger was there was a dishwasher but no detergent to run it with! Pots looked super cheap. We brought a lot of food to cook/eat in and it was more than challenging.

Don't let the looks of the outside fool you. This is a lovely apartment located above an empty store. We had a wonderful stay at this 3-bedroom apartment in Bobcaygeon! The location was perfect, a quick 10-minute walk from local shops and dining, making it easy to explore the charming town. The space was exactly as described, featuring comfortable queen beds in each of the three bedrooms and ample natural light throughout. It was hot outside during our stay, but each room had a fan, and the living room also had air conditioning. The host's communication was clear, especially regarding access to the back entrance (follow the blue arrow to door 67B). The space felt clean and well-maintained, and the complimentary Wi-Fi worked great. Bobcaygeon itself is a gem - we enjoyed exploring the local area and can see why it's such a beloved getaway spot.

Place was well equipped, roomy and bedrooms nocely done… the bed and couch were comfy and the towels and linens were clean. BUT everything else lacked. Location was almost scary …apparently people root through garbage in the middle of the night a couple of nights before garbage day. Also the whole place had an unclean smell, and honestly severely needs a paint job…kitchen was not clean, greasy and sticky…and giant cobwebs in corner by the patio doors. One step is missing the edge so need to be careful. Honestly disappointing that there is such a hefty cleaning cost when booking only to find it substandard. Could be so much better if it was better maintained. Wouldn’t return.

Another great stay in Bobcaygeon. We’ll definitely be back! The Airbnb was very clean, Amanda & Brix were extremely easy to communicate with when we had any questions or concerns.

Good communication from the host, and very accommodating. The cleaning company that came in before me did not do a good job but the host made every effort to address this and send someone in to clean up what was left dirty and replenish the soaps that were missing. I would have loved to leave a 5 star review and it's unfortunate because this spot and this host deserve it however cleaning company clearly didn't put much effort into their job.

Communication break down Overall the aprtmnt was clean tidy and well decorated. The fridge had broken shelves in the door but was still usable. The floors were constantly cold because there were no tenants in the store below to run heat..The front entrance was tiny and cramped with an open exposed electrical panel that I had to use for the heater in this area. Didn't see. Very safe. Very disappointed in the lack of personal phone response from several requests. The only form of communication was through email which is tedious and time consuming. No snow removal from front doorway. Had to clear it myself,not a big deal but if I was elderly then could be an issue. Was not notified about previous fire that disallowed use of outside veranda. Also limited the apartment to one fire exit downstairs where the electrical panels were.

Absolutely fantastic space. Very responsive hosts, kind and helpful! We would love to book again if we’re back in the area in the future. Absolutely recommend!!!

3 stars were docked for the following reasons. 01. No internet. So there goes the smart tv for any kind of enjoyment. Music included. Host doesn’t understand how to fix problem, will send a tech. Had to be “at home” to let them in and have fix the problem. Didn’t work with my schedule as I’m on vacation 02. Tried to pass of damage previously done on property (I have pictures of when I came in), and charge me for damage, 13 days after I left. Albeit it could be their faulty “maintenance staff”, but really no internet and advertising a smart tv for entertainment is poor for 2024. I received a phone call from a Florida # for “help” on the internet. Hosts oblivious to what the conditions are at the house. Location, 10 min walk to down town Garbage removal - told me to put in a dumpster that doesn’t exist. 2 light fixtures didn’t work (over sink, porch light) And the kicker “Fully stocked kitchen” apparently means 1 cutting knife, cutlery & plates for 8, and a 6” frying pan.

5 stars across the board. Any issues that previous guests may have mentioned have all been fixed. We had no problems whatsoever. Our hosts were lovely, polite, and responsive. The place was extremely clean and modern (don't let the closed store below fool you), well stocked, very easy to find, easy to get in with the smart lock, a 5-minute walk to town, air-conditioned, the shower was fantastic, I could go on and on...would definitely stay here again if we return to Bobcaygeon.
