Thanks for a great weekend, great location, the space was clean and private. Close to restaurants and shopping but quiet at night. It was a basement unit and I might not have booked had I known, my partner is quite tall so we’re pretty careful about basements but it was surprisingly high ceilings for a basement! Small issue at check in, I had the wrong door code by George and Brandy were super quick to respond and fix it. Thank you again for a great stay! We’ll be back!
Negative: The double charge for cleaning fees and if you don’t pay for it, they just don’t clean the place. Lots of noise from the other rooms.

The stay here was super nice, there’s plenty of nearby shops which was super convenient in terms of grabbing food or any necessities. The place was cozy and super clean and nonetheless George was super helpful. I’d definitely stay here again next time I visit!

I had a wonderful stay! The Airbnb was easy to find and perfectly located, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The space was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet, making it a great place to relax and unwind. Everything was exactly as I’d hoped, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend!

The place was great, kitchen had everything we needed and overall a cozy experience. The surroundings are hard to beat. I must admit was worried about some reviews talking about the entrance being by an alley, but I never felt unsafe at all, even late after midnight. The easy access and lights made it easy to go back in anytime.
Awesome stay. Very nice Air BnB right in the heart of downtown. Lots of restaurants, pubs, stores etc all within a rock throw.
In general, I'm very happy with the overall experience. Positive: I really appreciate George waiving the early check-in fee. I like the Kitchen area and all items you can use to prepare food, cook and eat is there including salt pepper and a bottle of cooking oil. Very Wi-Fi strength and coverage. Also very accessible to public transportation including bus, bikes and scooters as well as to convenient stores, shops and restaurants. Negative: Sometime Friday, I heard heavy noises from upstairs as if someone is having a party. It lasted for at least half an hour then it settles down afterwards. I also notice some gnats/ fruit flies. Though small but a little bit annoying. I have to turn on the lights to one of the room to contain them and avoid flying over my face.

Die Ablagefläche, die das Waschbecken selbst bietet, ist sehr klein. Es gibt zwar ein Schränkchen unter dem Waschbecken, aber ich finde es praktischer alles in Sicht- bzw. Griffweite zu haben. Schon allein weil sonst die Gefahr besteht, dass ich bei der Abreise vergesse, auch die Sachen aus dem Schränkchen einzupacken.

Close to restaurants and shops
Our stay here was great. The self check in with instructional videos to find the unit and enter was helpful. The place was clean and meet my standards. George is very responsive with communication when it comes to any questions. This location is right next to some good places to eat and right next to the West Harbor GO train station. It was also a plus that our furry friend was allowed in the unit. I am looking forward to rebooking this Airbnb the next time I visit!

Had a great stay! Very clean, nice and responsive when questions were asked. Great location as well lots of walking distance shops, and restaurants. Overall was a great stay and a nice getaway.

George was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was exactly as described. The descriptive video they have posted really helped us find the apartment. There are some sketchy people around, however the surrounding area is full of nice restaurants, gyms, and other amenities. We had a great stay here!
The location is great if you want to be in walkable section of the city. We had a young toddler with us, and while the place was great it's probably better suited to guests older than 18 months. Hosts were extremely friendly and impressively responsive! We ran into a minor problem at first due to the very heavy rains, and the hosts answered immediately and made every conceivable effort to remedy the issue. We overall enjoyed our time at this property and would definitely be interested in booking again with George.

I was looking for a place to stay a few nights waiting for the air from the fires clear out. It had everything we needed a comfy bed, a place to work and a good kitchen and bathroom.
Came to visit my family and staying there was amazing. It will become my go to place whenever I’m in Hamilton. The host communicates well!

Honestly I've done many trips around Canada, I love doing road trips and I have to say this place is great spot for those looking for somewhere where you can a great price and location. it's in the center of everything and very easy to travel to surrounding areas as well. I'd highly recommend this spot, simple and sweet with no hassle and the hosts are amazing, they are quick to respond and very kind too and if you have any problems they are quick to resolve it. So if you're looking I'd say you can't go wrong with this great spot!!
Great location, nice space. Access to the space was very creepy. We arrived after dark and ran into a homeless man passed out on the stairs in front of the entrance. scared the wife really good! 😆
Nothing fancy but it had all the basics. It was a perfect place for 1 person. Lots to do within a 15 minute walk.

Clean, well appointed place with comfortable bed and everything I needed. The location was good - right in the bustling centre of Hamilton.
If you want to explore Hamiltons growing downtown, and try lots of the restaurants, you are right in the centre of it. . Hosts offer great service, and communication. You have to enjoy the city life, and not expect a quiet and peaceful experience, knowing that this is a great place and value. The apartment we got was dark, making night time great for sleeping, and the unit was clean. Thank you hosts.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay! It is a little noisy with the surrounding units, but that was expected and there were provided ear plugs. The location is great with several restaurants/stores near by and a short walk to bay front! The shower is a little awkward, but the unit had everything we needed and we would stay again!
Overall, we had a good stay. The apartment was clean, conveniently located, and had a well-equipped kitchen. George and Brandy were very helpful, responsive, and provided clear instructions throughout. The unit was a bit smaller than expected, so it may be best suited for guests who do not plan to spend too much time inside. The quality of the stay also depends somewhat on the other guests in the neighbouring Airbnb units. Unfortunately, during our stay, other guests were very loud throughout the night. That said, George and Brandy were kind and responsive when we reached out.

The apartment is in a great location on a lively street with bustling shops, restaurants and bars. everything you could ask for within a few minutes steps. If looking to explore around the city or even outside the cuty, public transportation and GO trains and buses are nearby. The entrance to the apartment itself is in the back of the building, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy street (host provided fantastic instructions on how to get in). The apartment itself was small but had everything I could have wanted. All the necessities of home, great kitchen, clean bathroom with a great shower, comfortable bed and a relaxing sofa and smart tv for when I took time to rest from exploring the city. Hamilton has always been one of my favourite cities to visit and now this apartment has been one of my favourite places to stay while doing so.
I would stay there again. Hosts were very responsive, no issues during my stay.

Wasn't fully sure which apartment we would be in but the ground floor apartment was very nice. Firm bed, clean space. The local restaurants were varied and easy to access. Perfect location for an event being close to TD and several bus stops. Would absolutely visit again.

It was also very easy to find everything thanks to the instructions, they were super helpful. Everything was simple and convenient for guests, especially the entry system and the lock instructions. Overall, everything was great, and I would definitely stay here again!

Positive: I almost lost my sh-t because I'm 52 or so and not tech savvy whatsoever and couldn't find the back door and panicked. They were all good about it. Now Negative: The place is where I wish I could.live
Our stay here was overall okay. The host were very accommodating and quick to respond. Provided clear check in and check out instructions and had all necessities needed to be comfortable. My only issue was the noise since I was in the basement unit. It was unbelievably loud from the foot steps and furniture dragging above. It’s an older building I can tell but I for the price I chose to over look it as much as I can. Otherwise stay was decent.

On edge of scam, try to avoid! Negative: Is on different address that officially stated in Booking.com profile (this is obviously to hide that it is shady place by trashbins, we were bothered by homeless people picking from bins on our arrival). Tthey try to hide all those location aspects behind “check-in portal”, which opens only late afternoon on your first day. (Probably to avoid you cancelling when you find ou), as they collect “securit deposit” for no reason. More than week after it is still not returned to us. It was dirty, we had foreign hair all over the sheets, there were tomato splashes that we need to wipe upon arrival. The expandable coach does not work, do not book for more than 2 people. As the unit is deep in basement it is hard to vent properly. Cooking fan does not work, so you will have to breath all the meal-preparation vapors. Customer service was in sub-zero quality. They refused to admit the dirty aspects (even though we have photos), were trying to avoid receiving proof but not sharing any email to send it to them an providing nimber that did nounced back MMS picture messages. When we pressed for cancellation, they sent “inspection” person only to officially claim “everything is in order we are not changing your sheets” (and to secretely change them for ones in obviously different color, so bluntly lying to us, again we saved proof photos). It looks nice on pictures, but they do not reflect the reality of the stay. Try to avoid if you can the least.

It was a nice and comfortable space. I used it mostly to sleep, and it was perfect for that.
The description is over stated and I expected a bit more comfort than received. The bedroom was not spacious and getting in on one side was difficult. The mattress was cheap and not comfortable. Fortunately our fourth person did not sleep over as the sofabed was very cheap. Part of it would slide away if you rolled to the middle. if the beds were comfortable, we would have overlooked the cheap feel to the unit with the towels and bedding. We were in the basement unit and the floor boards are poorly glued down and some edges stick up. Overall, felt like a 2-3 star motel to me, except their beds and linens there are better. Small fixes and attention to detail, in my opinion, would make a stay more comfortable.

Positive: It felt like home Negative: Water from the shower wasn't hot enough given that the temperature in Hamilton was -4 C. Wasn't too bad though.

It was a urban place to stay at, near the City Centre and close to the GO station, which was helpful. George was nice, respond time was pretty quick.
