Excellent, clean place to bring your family. With a lot of activities within walking distance!

Review We were on vacation from 5/26/25- 5/30/25. We reserved a certain room on VRBO but were given a different room that looked completely different and had different beds. The room we were put in seemed outdated and the shower/ bathroom seemed old and had very little space. Also we were looking forward to playing shuffle board but that isn’t there anymore (the pictures need to be updated). SunDestin also doesn’t allow personal umbrellas on the beach (we had our own and was told to take it down, so we got very sunburnt). The kids splash pad was also not working and there are no umbrellas at the pool. We did have trouble checking in, we arrived 30 mins before check in time and didn’t get to our room until 20 mins after check in time. The place was in a good location but wouldn’t recommend to anyone or stay there again, the pictures seemed a lot nicer than what it actually is.

J squad 2023 mini vaca gateway My family and I really loved our little gateway vacation and stay! Everyone in the front desk, sea store and at fudpuckers was beyond nice! Definitely booking again soon! Thank you Sun Destin for a great stay. See y'all soon if God willing!

Unwanted suprises Moldy smell on low floor. Kids splash pad not open. A lot of traffic due to being next to elevator. Cannot use your own umbrellas forcing you to rent theirs. Community washer smoked bad. Would not rent again.

Great place! The condo was nice, clean with great views! Definitely pack trash bags, extra toilet paper, paper towels, and quarters to do laundry. We stayed for 4 days with a group of 6 and needed more towels! We cooked meals in the room so we accumulated a lot of trash (more than 2 bags). We asked guest services for more towels and trash bags and were told no. The place is great, very family friendly and the beach was awesome!

Girlfriend’s Trip 2022. Healing with my Besties The property was very nice and clean. The view was amazing, to get up every morning and look out at the ocean was awesome. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Birthday/Girls Trip 2022 The property was great. The view from the balcony was amazing, to wake up every morning to see the ocean was breathtaking. We came to celebrate my late husband’s 55th birthday. He loved the beach 🏖 and what a way to honor his 55th birthday. The property was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Will definitely be back again.

Great visit but a few shortfalls We really enjoyed our stay. The room is just as advertised. The view is gorgeous, unfortunately we couldn't really see it. The chairs on the balcony are too short so adults only see the railing. I ended up putting three cushions on a chair to sort of get the view. Bar stools and a table would be a valuable upgrade. Also the wifi was horrible. The TV lagged and cell phones were spotty. I could book extra days and work from the room but the wifi ended that idea. Between those two things (and the lack of a couple non-stick pans) I'd have to pass on booking again. I paid a lot for a view I couldn't comfortably see and slow wifi? Can't do it again until changes are made. Otherwise, the room, amenities and staff are wonderful and helpful.

Ok Positive: Beautiful Negative: Had to wash my towels instead of getting fresh towels and paying $5 per load to wash and dry. Too much money to be that tight

Good

We had a great stay. The splash pad was closed, no big deal. The construction wasn't noisey or bothersome. I got multiple messages from the property management reminding you can not bring your own umbrellas to the beach and you needed to rent from their group. This is not 100% true. You can use your own umbrellas they just cant be the 1st 3 or 4 rows of chairs. The waterfront chairs were nice, but they came w a price.

Nice room, pools, and easy acess to the beach. Only downside was the construction, which was known up front before booking. Wouod definitely book here again.

Solid overall experience! Everything was great other than the condition of the unit. The sliding doors would stick, the sliding door in the bedroom doesn't lock. Having a window in the bedroom that looks out into the hallway/corridor that everyone walks by and loudly talks late in the night is a odd choice. Beautiful view and good customer service. Parking lot needs to be bigger.

Window in the bedroom looking out into the complex hallway was weird. Other than that solid stay, slidimg doors dont move smoothly and lock on bedroom sliding door doesn't work.

Excellent property in a great location. We will ne back.

Vacation It was wonderful, clean property with attentive staff and friendly employees throughout

Wonderful We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and the service was great, the coffee pot was broken but once we told the front staff they brought a brand new one quickly. The room was clean and had plenty of clean towels and dinnerware.

We loved our stay! It was a beautiful room and had an awesome view. The staff were very friendly.

Great location The location of this property was perfect. It was in the middle of all of the attractions we wanted to visit and it was right on the beach. I think it will be better once renovations are done. The lobby was nice, but when you walk off of the elevator on the third floor it seems like you went into a different, older building. The bedroom is in the front of the condo so you hear everyone in the hallway. There were rowdy people that hung out in the hallway around midnight one night that woke us all up. We could also hear the cleaning staff first thing in the morning. They weren’t necessarily loud, but that wall must be thin because it sounded like they were in the same room. There are coin laundry machines across the hall from the unit so make sure to bring quarters if you want to wash anything, including towels ($2.50 each for washer and dryer). I received a text from the front desk one day asking if we needed anything, but when I text back I did not receive a response. I’m not sure if the splash pad is getting a makeover or if it just doesn’t work well, but it randomly worked and could use a power wash. The WiFi did not work well either.

Construction I wish we were informed about the pool being closed, the outdoor larger pool and the parking lot situation. If it was disclosed I didn’t see it. I didn’t need overflow parking but I would have been upset over this. I’ve stayed at sundestin many time and was let down over all this.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony was awesome! Great location and convenient access to everything! Wish the outdoor pool was open during our stay.

High rise in Destin Typical high rise in Destin. Location is good, beach is beautiful. Our unit was fair - somewhat dated (hello dusty peppers in oil kitchen decor) but fine for our needs. Especially because the elevators were always super busy/slow - at least we could walk up the stairs. Outdoor pool was closed - bummer! Indoor pool and hot tub were fairly icky/always packed. The beach chair rental situation was ridiculous - the contracted chair company had their rentals all the way to the water and would not let you set up in front of that. Again the unit was fine for our needs as (we traveled to different beaches in the area), but I would not stay here again.

Best Vaca ever First time in FL and it was the best Vaca ever!!!

Quick getaway The condo unit was as advertised and it was clean. The complex is a little older but is clean and the staff is friendly. The Pelicans Roost had great drinks and food. The pancakes were huge. It was close to other restaurants and right on the beach. The view was amazing!!

Cute little place It was a great location and staff were super friendly. We enjoyed our quick trip! The only thing that I found unpleasing about the place we booked, was the bunk bed walls were not cleaned very properly. The walls had, what it looked like to us, boogers.

Had a great vacation! We have stayed here several different times and the service is always wonderful!

Beach View Fun The resort was accurate to pictures. Location was in the middle of everything we needed to go to and wanted to try.

Perfection! Everything was wonderful from the beginning to the end of our stay. From cleanliness to comfort and not to mention the breathtaking views! The care package waiting for us from our host so so sweet!! The friendliness of the staff was on point even though we came to Destin at one of the busiest times of the season! Thanks Kyle at the front desk. I was waiting for a luggage rack and he walked up to our room and carried all my belongings so I wouldn’t have to wait! Very friendly man! Sundestin is lucky to have him! We will definitely be back!

roomy sleep space overall nice place. lots of good use of space. kitchen and dining area were pretty tight. very disappointed in the fact that personal umbrellas can not be used on the beach, but umbrellas can. Those are important factors that guest need to know before they get down there. Sure i could've searched it, but it would be helpful if it was in the description.

Decent beach condo The condo was as advertised. The air conditioner unit on the balcony was a little annoying and the balcony stayed wet because of it being there. Nice view of the beach, clean and comfortable.

Perfect Trip! We had a blast and really enjoyed our stay at the SunDestin! The beach was so close to the resort. We loved how close we were to the grocery and other places to eat and visit as well. The staff was amazing and we will definitely be back! From the price to the service, it was a perfect trip!

Love being on the beach but there are downfalls to run 311 Downfalls: The bed was too firm. You cannot see over the balcony rail because the chairs are standard height. There is a humming noise that can be heard from the bedroom. Right across from the electrical room.

Bright and cheerful unit with beautiful view We enjoyed our stay! The unit was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The view was beautiful from the balcony. Easy check in and out. The area has great food, shopping and entertainment.
