My stay was Amazing... My family and I was very impressed with everything overall..The house Amazing..

Great family rental Overall a great property, location and space for a family. We had adult couples with 1 child each and had plenty of room. The property does have quite a few worn items that need to be addressed/replaced. The property management team was helpful to address any items that we needed fixed during our stay (grill replacement).

Can’t beat the views! The location, views, and access to the beach are unbeatable. The size and layout of the house is great for large families. However, the house shows its age and has not been maintained well. Nothing that will ruin your stay or worth complaining about in the moment, but disappointing for the area and price.

Family of 7 from 81yr old to 11yr old Perfect place to stay at a quite beach with your own pool. Only a mile walk down to The Hub for ice cream, food, and entertainment.

Renter beware! First, other reviews are accurate, esp about the pictures. The EXTERIOR are not accurate. The listing depicts the property to be secluded with no neighbors, this is inaccurate . The pics were clearly taken when the property was built. Since then, there have been more homes built, VERY close to this property. So the beach is shared by several others andoften right in front of this property. Next, the cleanliness and lack of repairs is accurate as well. #1 - water bugs/cockroaches were abundant downstairs #2 - in master upstairs, the shower handle was loose and fell when touched, and the hot water on one sink wouldn't even turn on #3 - ice maker works butthe dispenser does not. So you have to use your hands and kids can't reach it #4 - pull out drawer style microwave turns on, but does not heat AT ALL. #5 - top rack of dishwasher kept falling Bc it had broken parts, so you risked having dishes break #6 - tv downstairs is not user friendly and there was a sign posted about it and you were allowed to use your own AppleTV, etc. Maintenance had to come within minutes of checkin Bc we could even get it turned on #7 - listing says beach chairs & umbrellas are complimentary, but we were directed to a link to the company with a whopping 15% off code?! That's not free, or complimentary. #8 - downstairs shower was in operable #9- we were a family of 6 adults and 4 kids. There was not a single beach chair to use and there was a lack of towels. Kids found 2 small wave boards, but both were broken and couldn't be used #10 - kitchen utensils/tools/gadgets were not inline with the style of the kitchen. We had to improvise a lot. By the looks of the pics, you would expect it to be a cook's dream... think again. #11- there is a drawer w a rusty metal box inside. We think it was a bread box? But it was so rusty and disgusting, I would never store anything in there. #12 - be prepared to bring everything, including salt & pepper. There was not a single pantry item. This was the first Vrbo I've ever stayed in that didn't have the basics like salt & pepper. #13 - zero cleaning items. Only 1 tiny bottle of dishwasher detergent Good things: it is very convenient to walk down the shared stairs to get on the beach, and the patio was nice for watching sunsets. The bedding was nice and the kitchen stove/oven was nice. Beware of what you're paying for. Maintenance did come day after thanksgiving to fix a couple of things, but not all.

Had a Great 4 Days Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our Family of 11 had a great stay and sleep comfortably. I have a bad kneen and not having to climb stairs to the 3rd floor was awesome. The kids loved being so close to the ocean. The grandkids loved the option of swimming in the ocean or the pool.

Fantastic Vacation Pelican Paradise was an ideal retreat for our large family. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, gorgeous ocean view and so close to the beach. Fun times!

The view made this place really great. Other than a few minor hiccups this was a wonderful getaway. Views took our breath away but so did walking in and seeing a dead water bug direct above the stair well when we walked in. Not a big deal just first thing we saw. The A/C on the 1st & 3rd floor wasn’t working when we arrived So we had to contact Chris, the property manager, who was very responsive and helpful. My wife and I were very impressed that Chris was able to have someone come out to fix the A/C on a Sunday night (the day we arrived). They had it both floors not working up and going in about an hours time. Last minor hiccup was each morning we were supposed to have Two umbrellas and Four beach chairs setup complimentary during our stay. Apparently, since we booked our trip very last minute, the rental place that does the setup did not receive our booking and we had to call Chris to make this happen. Overall, the views of this property, location, and responsiveness of the property manager made this a wonderful last minute family vacation.

Reviewer Comments: This was our 7th summer in a row to rent a beachfront house along 30A, and we all agreed that this home was our favorite. It was plenty big for our group of 10, and was beautifully designed and well equipped. The beach was beautiful and so easily accessible. It was a very comfortable for everyone, with plenty of lounging areas. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. Neighborhood was nice and even though we were there during the height of summer, the private neighborhood and beach made it feel uncrowded.

The primary shower was leaking and closed, and the house was not very clean. Had to go downstairs to shower. The host claimed they would give a credit for this, but we never received anything.

This was the poorest maintained house we have ever stayed in. 3 of the 5 bedrooms are crammed into the first level, which feels like a basement. The WiFi didn’t work correctly so we told to use the neighbors credentials. The master shower was out of order. Luckily I found the master tub stopper in the bathroom, to unplug I had to pry it out with my fingernail. The door handle to the master balcony was broken off. There was a mountain of beach chairs/umbrellas/boards etc. at the end of the steps going to the beach. This had been there for a long time.The couch was very worn.The working microwave was rusted. The bottom oven made a terrible noise so we were afraid to use it. The drawer microwave was broken. The drink fridge in the kitchen was broken. There were water issues in the basement. The basement of the adjoining house completely flooded while we were there and they had to vacate. I am sure I have missed other issues but these come to mind first. We were told that no one else would be able to book this home until these issues were fixed. I hope this is true!

The location is outstanding, and the layout was perfect for our group. Unfortunately, the home showed significant signs of deferred maintenance. Upon arrival, the primary shower was unusable and covered in caution tape, with no prior notification from management. For our large group, the number of showers was an important factor in booking, so a heads-up would have been appreciated. The second-floor shower was also missing its trim cover, leaving the valve exposed. Other issues included a ceiling repair in the kitchen, an unsecured powder room faucet, a built-in refrigerator that was extremely difficult to open due to improper installation, nonfunctioning appliances, a first-floor toilet that ran continuously due to a faulty fill valve, and Wi-Fi that was spotty at best. This property has an amazing location and great potential, but maintenance and proactive communication from management need significant improvement.

The location of this home is excellent and the master suite on third floor was very nice. However, the "makeshift" curtains were atrocious and the TV remote did not work. The wood flooring on the upper levels was very nice. First floor, (3 bedrooms) felt more like a budget motel than vacation rental. We found dead and live spiders on 1st floor. Tile flooring was dirty, there was a persistent musty odor, and blackout curtain liners used as makeshift curtains were dragging the floors. The online photos do not accurately represent the condition of this level. The kitchen had numerous issues: Built‑in microwave broken, Countertop microwave rusted inside w/peeling enamel, Vent hood does not work, Mold found in countertop ice maker, Freezer ice maker is broken. Half of the grill doesn't work, Broken tiles on the back porch. Cleanliness was also unacceptable. The floors were dirty when we arrived, and we had to rewash all sheets after finding hair in them. 1st floor tub was dirty. Other safety/maintenance concerns: First‑floor HVAC not working upon arrival, Missing outlet faceplates, Live, exposed electrical wiring on the exterior of the home, Missing light bulbs, Missing shower mixer handles on 2 showers. Towel rod broken. Given the number and severity of maintenance/safety issues, we are astonished by the glowing reviews from other guests. The only explanation is that they are friends of the owner or simply not accustomed to the level of quality and safety we expect.

Location, location, location!! Sand, surf and Pompano! Cystal clear water, saw a shark, sting rays and dolphins. Aquarium right in the backyard. Family found sand dollars in the surf, plenty of room to dine together and spacious for resting. Three stories, which I dont remember in the listing, or mentioning it has an elevator. That was excellent to have loading at the end of our stay. Would love to book agaian!!

Awesome place directly in the beach, with beautiful accommodations. Be sure to read the description entirely. Everything is clearly stated, but I made some assumptions about amenities without reading. I highly suggest crabbing after dark (catch and release of course), those little guys were everywhere and my grandkids loved it!

Great potential BUT • Property Condition: The property has potential but is in need of significant renovation and updates, including cleaning, repairs, and replacements. • Outdoor Area: The pool area and patio require cleaning, landscaping, and new furniture. • Interior Issues: The house has numerous broken fixtures, outdated furniture, and appliances in need of repair or replacement. • Plumbing Issues: The toilet backed up, sewage came up from the pool drain, and all faucets need replacing. • Broken Fixtures: The shower on the bottom floor had a broken fixture, and the spare bathroom sink on the second floor was unusable due to a broken faucet. • Unsanitary Conditions: Sewage backup from the drain by the pool was not cleaned up, raising concerns about sanitation. I would love to give this place a second chance due to its convenience and location, but only if every one of these issues were addressed and resolved.

Great Location The place is very nice, and the location is great. The maintenance guys that came to fix an issue were great.

Terrible Place was dirty, mildew and mold. Place flooded on 1 st floor ( obviously floods after rain). Office/owner know about all the problems and do nothing to resolve. The place needs renovation.

30A Pelican Paradise The rental was in a great location with beautiful views of the ocean. Quiet location. How ever the unit was very worn and outdated. The owners need to give this place some TLC patio furniture needs to be updated and the sofas needs to be updated..

Great Location! We had a great stay! Even though home was a duplex you didn’t feel as if anyone was staying next door.

Needs some loving care! Beautiful place and we had a wonderful time but the house does need some maintenance, some of the toilets need some repair as far as the insides go, the dishwasher was leaking so we couldn't use it, the elevator door on the main floor was broken, wine fridge in kitchen was broken and the door wouldn't close. These repairs didn't impact our stay but I feel they need to be addressed, the internet is really bad! The patio around the pool and the one downstairs off bedrooms I expected to be better maintained. The home is such a beautiful place and it just needs some maintenance!

Lovely Absolutely loved our stay at 179A The home is very comfortable, and that sunset is amazing. Short drive to town to nice walks or dinners. We drive a 2500 so the tree out front needs a little trimming, it does scratch the roof top otherwise if you have a big car. Other than that everything was perfect, nicely stocked and comfortable. Management was quick to answer too. We had a great time!

Great summer vacation spot! Top notch vacation home. Location was perfect and the Property managers were super responsive for the minor needs we had while there.

Beautiful Seaside Living We loved that the rooms were spacious and the pool was heated. We want to return soon.

Beautifully decorated. Horribly renovated. Nothing worked, downstairs flooded everytime it rained. During the pandemic we were looking for a private place with access to a private beach. The photos were very deceaving. This house is almost touching the houses on either side. The photo shows a pool which is virtually unusable and the size of a fountain.. The ice makers are inoperable, the oven fan inoperable, the barbq pit is inoperable, the toilets run because the handles are broken, a few doors are frozen shut, the first floor stays musty because of the excess moisture and rain flooding. It is so beautifully appointed decoratively, so sad that nothing worked properly. The rental agency was most attentive but these are flaws the owner needs to address.
