The property was okay, but could be made even better with a few simple updates. The couch is incredibly uncomfortable, stiff, and dated. Replace missing lightbulbs in the bedrooms, put batteries in the clock, and PLEASE provide some oven mitts! Also might be time to spray for bugs, as a few made an appearance in the kitchen, and one of the tv’s in the guest rooms had no cable, streaming, nothing. My husband went to Walmart and bought a Roku stick to plug in so the kids could watch tv before bed. I reported all of these things, so Scenic Stays is aware. On a separate note, you should inform your guests ahead of time exactly what’s allowed and not allowed to be used on the beach. That information is helpful in planning and packing, and it could even determine whether or not someone chooses to book a stay here. For reference, no tents or lounge chairs are allowed on the beach at all, not even behind the rentals. You may only bring an umbrella on a pole and regular chairs, but these must not upstage the rentals. The view and the area were all perfect, though, and we all stayed cool and relatively comfortable while there.

Great family getaway Decent place to stay with great view. Sofa needs to be replaced as it is worn out and bowed making it almost unusable.

Great location and nice condo We are open minded people coming from hospitality jobs ourselves at a large resort. We loved the location and the view was incredible. The layout of the condo worked really well having three young adult daughters with us. Our own parking spot was nice and close to the entrance. The pool and hot tub were really nice. We also liked that we could walk to a few places nearby such as Dunkin Donuts and Alvin's Beach Store. However, our rating would've been higher if it weren't for a few significant items we feel would help make it five stars: Master bedroom mattress sunk in the middle, very uncomfortable. Furniture in livingroom needs to be updated and is uncomfortable as well. Would still highly recommend this place.

Family vacation We’ve never been to Destin. Great location and access to beach. Should have told us to rent umbrella and chairs weeks in advance. Only 3rd and 4th rows available. We could see our 4 kids from our umbrella. As for Condo, it had plenty of space for us. The problem was that the floor were dirty, ice maker, jacuzzi tub, dryer, iron were all broken. Along with nightstand drawer. Kids could have cared less, mostly us adults were annoyed. Overall had a great trip.

Family Vaca! What a beautiful place. We had such a wonderful time and LOVED the property and location. We will be back!

Beautiful view Check in information was not fully received for all correct codes but was quickly resolved and wristbands were not provided which ended in delay to get to beach & pool & then no parking pass or even the need for one was mentioned before we received a nasty sticker on our vehicle window that baked in the sun & was terrible to remove concerning towing our vehicle which was then also resolved after a day. Responses were quick & also kind. my 2 year old fell with his cup & broke the edge of the glass coffee table (which then split in 2 pieces) & they were quick to say they were glad he was ok & would come remove the glass. I will also put that on my list of requirements for future rentals of no glass table tops :) the view was amazing, beach was glorious- we saw dolphins almost every day from the balcony- the pool was nice as well & the hot tub did not work for one day but was fixed under 24hours. Overall would absolutely recommend this for all ages from adults to infants there was an abundance of families enjoying Jade east & beaches :)

We needed a place to stay in Hansville to celebrate a friend's retirement. We really lucked out finding this lovely place so close to the event. Perfect for two couples. Plenty of space. Beautiful neighborhood and gorgeous sunsets.

Great Location!! We had a minor issue with the guest who was there before us. He came back hours later, stormed in looking for things he had left behind. This was quite unsettling with a baby there. We had collected those items and had them in a box in the hallway and notified Scenic Stays a couple of hours before.

We had a great stay! My husband and I actually stayed here before, so when we came back to Destin with friends, we knew we wanted to stay here again. The location is perfect! Right by the beach with private beach access, and so many restaurants, shops, and things to do are within walking distance or a quick Uber ride. The beach access and nearby chair/umbrella rentals were super convenient. Everything was clean, comfortable, and easy. The only small issue was that the dishwasher wasn’t working, but hand washing wasn’t a big deal. We’d definitely stay here again!

This was such a great place to stay! Hopefully next time we are in Destin we will be able to book this place again! It was GREAT!!

We had a awesome stay with Scenic Stay! Quick response time with any issue very friendly and helpful! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Our favorite area was the balcony ☺️🫶🏾

This place was really convenient for having accessible access to the beach without having to leave the property but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. One of the beds was being held by a brick underneath and there were socks and a charger from prev guest. We also had issues with having our wristbands right away. We couldn’t get in the pool without one and had to wait until the next day to get them. Not to mention the bathtub needed to be resurfaced because the painting was peeling off and had a hole. Maintenance guy had to come into our room to check if anything was leaking because downstairs tenant reported their ceiling was leaking. The only positive thing was parking and having access to the beach.

Enjoyed the stay. Host very responsive. The beds in the middle bedroom need updated. A few cosmetic updates needed. The dryer did not dry well. Overall good experience.

The pictures on the listing were not representative of reality. That’s probably what it looked like 30 years ago. A piece of the bathtub was missing, a piece of ceiling was falling, the vents are disgustingly, and there is so much mold that several members of my party became ill with allergic reactions.

The room was dirty when we got there, there was coffee leftover from the previous guests in the coffee pot, mold in the air vents, sticky hand prints on the walls. Water damage that was unfixed in several places. My kids’ feet were black on the bottom from walking barefoot for less than an hour inside the unit. The security guards were rude. Only one working elevator for most of our vacation for the entire 19 floor property, where you’d wait 15 minutes to catch an elevator sometimes. We would have left if it was an option, but there was no where else to go being that we were there over the 4th of July.

Scenic Stays was easy to communicate with and prepare for the trip. When we arrived everything was nice. The view of the Gulf was amazing from the 18th floor. We loved the corner location of the condo. There was plenty of towels and linens. Check out instructions were clear and concise. We enjoyed every minute spent on the balcony!

The view was amazing. We often saw dolphins playing in the morning. The condo was clean as well. Parking was nice because it was close the front door. However, the dryer does not work well, and I noticed previous renters complained about it as well (so it must have not been fixed). I called maintenance for help, and they said they would come the following day, but they never showed. The place is looking a bit run down as well. The couch is not comfortable. There is a giant crack in the master shower. And the towel bar pulled out of the middle bathroom. The elevator broke down during our stay and we had to walk the 18 flight of stairs (thankfully not on the day we had to move out). All that being said, it is a beautiful beach and we still had a good time. It would just be nice if the price of the condo was more reflected in the accommodations or that more things were fixed (or at least maintenance responded).

This condo was in a perfect location! The condo itself could use a little TLC, but there was nothing wrong with the condo that affected our trip! The walk to the beach was short and the views from the balcony were amazing! We had a few issues with communication with Scenic Stays but were able to use the information they provided to contact them directly and they took the feedback and worked to make it right.

Never again, I reported 2xs that the maintenance man said the middle bedroom had an electrical issue. Couldn’t turn on lights or TV without flickering. I’d spend extra to stay another place. The view is beautiful from balcony…only good thing

Our Story Check in was very smooth. We always enjoy staying at Jade East. It has the best view and is always clean and the beds were wonderful.

The condo was just as advertised, clean, easy to get into, gated parking and close to shops, activities and restaurants.

Pros: Great location, beautiful Oceanside view. Parking was easy. Easy access to beach and pool! Easy access to room! Kitchen was equipped. Love that each room had a bathroom! Cons: the master bedroom restroom clogged up and was leaking the very first night and it wasn’t fixed until the 3rd day. The back burner on the stove didn’t work. And there were small roaches in the kitchen that would come out at night.I also rented condo 1850 with scenic stays and there were no issues in that condo. Not sure if they use a different cleaning service but there was a difference between the cleanliness between them.

Gorgeous view We wre on the 18th floor and you could not beat the view.It was clean and comfortable which helped make our vacation for relaxing. Having a private beach was the best. I would diffently stay here again.

Review The dryer takes running 3 times to dry clothes, there are no hot pads to take trays out of the oven, and the air conditioner would not cool below 74. Josh Turner was great he changed a light bulb and got us the correct colored bands, our text said to use purple but the ones in the condo were red. But the view and cleanliness was great. What ruined the trip was my daughter getting her car towed from Chick Filet after being told by senic stays to park our 3rd car there because we could only have 2 parking passes. It cost us $225 and huge inconvenience to get her car back. I was told I would be reimbursed but I assume it will take 5-7 business days to post to my account because I have not received it yet.

Ok stay There were elevator issues during the stay that resulted in inconvenience and unnecessary delays. Staying on the 19th floor was too much for the elevators to not be working properly. There was no reason we couldn’t check in before 4pm as well too.
