My family and I stayed at Gone Coastal in July .After driving 10 hours, we arrived to find the house in unclean condition. One of the downstairs bedrooms had hair in the bed (both blonde & black) and what appeared to be period stains on the comforter. The bed on the second floor also had hair in it. On the third floor, the master bedroom closet was leaking from the AC and had visible mold. In the main bathroom, there was dried vomit in the corner, and the AC vent above the toilet leaked and had mold buildup,it literally dripped onto your skin when using the bathroom.That wasn’t even the worst of it. The garage was filled with rotting trash that had started leaking across the floor, and the trash cans were already overflowing when we arrived. There were scuff marks on the walls, several blinds were missing the stick to open/close them, and the floors were sticky and clearly hadn’t been mopped.As we were trying to get settled, we opened a dresser drawer and found a sweatshirt and wrapped in it was a pair of underwear—a clear sign that the home had not been properly cleaned at all. We contacted the management company multiple times and got little to no response. They did was drop off a broom (which we had to request) and take the trash cans to the curb but still left the rotting trash in the garage . We had to go out and buy cleaning products just to clean the place ourselves and wash the linens before we could sleep. For the price we paid lack of accountability is unacceptable

Amazing time ❤️ We were relocated here after an unfortunate situation elsewhere and to much our surprise, this place was amazing! It was very comfortable, clean, and close to the beach. Even with little kids, the walk to the beach was more than manageable even for my toddler. From customer support to the chair rentals, everyone was so kind and accommodating. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Positive: Convenient location, plenty of space, the house was clean, and nice view of the bay Negative: Refrigerator leaked a bit. We were not notified of a scheduled repair. No broom was available. Beach directions not included.

Will definitely stay again! It was in a good location, host was very communicative, neighborhood was great and easy to get in and out.

Everything was fine other than what I didn’t like about the property ( from the question up above). Positive: Everything other than what I didn’t like ⬇️ (question below) . Negative: The leak the shower curtain came down on my 75 yr old mother at the time of stay they have an outage

The place is absolutely beautiful. It’s massive! Be prepared for lots of stairs though lol. It was a great place to spend time with family and feel the beautiful Florida night breeze on the balconies.

This really happened:We stayed at one of Scenic Stays’ properties for a 4 day weekend (Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night) for a fishing trip. Upon entering the property and settling in, one friend immediately started sneezing. He said, “there must’ve been a cat or something in here.” We also alerted the management company that the WiFi and TV were down.By Friday morning, the affected guest was suffering severe allergy symptoms, and was unable to enjoy the rest of the weekend. It literally ruined his entire trip. The WiFi was never fixed.By Sunday morning, another guest had begun experiencing symptoms. After checkout, I received a call asking if we left a cat in the house, as the housekeepers had found one. That explained a lot! Furious at having had the weekend ruined for some of my guests, I demanded a refund. However, Maggie explained that they felt the cat had come in after we had left and refused to take responsibility. I walked Maggie through the logic - guest is allergic to cats, has violent allergic reaction upon entering the house, housekeepers find cats IN THE HOUSE after we left… yet they maintain that the cat must’ve come in after we left. Absurd!They offered a 15% refund for the WiFi and refused any responsibility whatsoever for allowing a stray animal into the property.Ridiculous. Do not use.

This location was great! Perfect spot for a beach day, or to walk to dinner. Everything was super clean and organized!

This was an experience that I share with everyone. The customer service with the host was unsettling. Airbnb support services had to step in to address the issues and were very responsive. This was an avoidable experience that I hope other families do not have go through. Airbnb was great to work with and handled the situation professionally and fair.
