It is a rustic homey feeling house with unique features like a tree growing in the kitchen! Each bedroom was like its own suite. For us, having two families with kids, the house was seperated into two sides which helped us immensely with different bedtimes. Host was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend for a peaceful and unique visit to Colorado Springs.

What a wonderful property! The home is an architectural dream! So unique with plenty of space for friends and family and never crowded, each bedroom is like your own little zone, which can be delightful when you need your own space! ( sometimes when traveling with others, how nice is that??)
Also the yard is your own private paradise as well! A beautiful deck for BBQs and a fireplace to warm you on the chilly nights you just want to hang outside for awhile longer!!
The owners also are the most thoughtful people, always making sure you are comfortable and there to help with anything!! I truly can't say enough about this B&B!
Check it out! You won't be disappointed!!
P.S The Cheyenne Mtn Zoo is literally 2 miles away! we had a BLAST!!

We attended a Porsche rally at the Cheyenne mountain resort and the Golden Bee is one of our favorite places in Colorado Springs. This home was close to both so we spent more time having fun and less time driving! We’re from Santa Fe and the home’s architect, John Gaw Meem, is a favorite. It was cool to be in one of his homes. We enjoyed the outside deck off the second story, it felt like we were in a treehouse. Two of the bedrooms had beautiful tree views too. Great kitchen! It’s where our group of six hung out.

The Abobe house was very unique. The kitchen was beautifully designed and the tree in the middle was great. We had everything we needed for our stay, but I feel it’s only fair for guest to know that the rest of the house is a bit chopped up and on five levels. It is a very large home, but 2 of the 3 bathrooms are on a different level from the bedrooms (Except for the basement, which had only a small bathroom with a bedroom) and all of the bedrooms are on a different level from each other. There is no bedroom on the main floor either. The design of the house is unique but there is a lot of stairs no matter where you go due to the multilevels. This is challenging for people who have difficulty managing stairs or to disperse luggage. The house is historic and due to age a bit musty. It was very nice to experience the architecture of this home, but I don’t think I would stay again due to the challenges of getting to restrooms at night, hauling luggage and everything being so divided.

Beautiful home, beautiful destination and a location to enjoy it all. You will not find a more unique property in Colorado Springs. Enjoy.

Internet did not work for over half of our stay. When our concerns were brought up to the host they offered to fix them for the next guest. The rails on the stairs were weak & shaking, not sturdy at all. The double doors in the kitchen did not lock. There was little to no hot water. The door knob in the bottom bedroom came off as soon as we attempted to open the door. I would not stay here again nor recommend even though the layout is different we have never had so many problems with an airbnb.

This was place was super cozy and peaceful.
Although the WIFI signal wasn’t great, Kaitlyn kept constant communication and was able to fix it super quick. The location is also amazing, we went for walks in the morning and saw so many deers! ❤️

The aesthetic of the home was nice but there were a few kinks when we arrived and throughout our stay. We immediately found a mouse on the floor. The TV and internet were not working. The property also had maintenance issues, such as a doorknob falling off when opening a bedroom door and a leaking downstairs toilet. Cleanliness was clearly lacking, with leftover decorations still on the ceiling and the home not feeling properly cleaned. Additionally, there was no hot water in the downstairs shower.

Such a unique and cozy space in a beautiful and safe area of town. The host was super responsive and accommodating with our last minute reservation. 100% would recommend and hope to stay here again!

We had hoped to sleep in the bedroom with the king size bed, but were unable to do so due to the roof leaking and the bed being slightly wet up upon our arrival. We ended up in the room with a queen bed, which would’ve been fine, except for the downspout that was extremely loud during the rain that we experienced this week. The house is charming but in need of some maintenance inside and outside.
