About this property

Beaverbrook sits on a private lake in Narrowsburg, NY, a contemporary modern retreat purpose-built for those who want the full Catskills experience without compromise. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame uninterrupted forest and lake views, and the home's clean architectural lines give way to a warm, amenity-rich interior equally suited to a summer week or a winter escape.

The main floor opens into a bright, airy great room where living and dining spaces flow into a fully equipped chef's kitchen. Every surface and fixture speaks to thoughtful, high-end design, from the sleek cabinetry to the curated furnishings throughout.

The primary bedroom is on the main level and features a queen bed and ensuite bath. The second bedroom on this level also offers a queen bed. Above, an open loft provides additional sleeping with a sleeper sofa and a desk, a flexible perch ideal for extra family or friends. Both full bathrooms are beautifully appointed with modern finishes and spa-quality fixtures.

Outside is where Beaverbrook truly comes alive. Spend slow mornings enjoying coffee on the expansive deck. Or stroll down to the private dock and spend your days fishing, sunbathing, kayaking among the lily pads spotting wildlife, or reading and drifting off in the hammock strung lakeside. The outdoor shower is open-air and refreshing any time of day. Grill and gather around the fire pit as the sun drops behind the treeline. Don't forget to look up at the stars at night. Scenic trails wind through the acres of ferns and foxgloves, inviting guests to explore at their own pace. There is no noise, just water, trees, and sky.

The area

Narrowsburg is one of Sullivan County's most beloved river towns, perched above a sweeping bend in the Upper Delaware River. The village punches well above its size with acclaimed restaurants, independent galleries, and cultural institutions like the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance. Start your morning with a perfectly brewed coffee from the Stickett Inn Cafe in Barryville and don't miss the riverside Barryville Farmers' market on Saturday mornings. For outdoor adventure, head to Landers River Trips and enjoy the beauty of the Delaware by raft, kayak, or canoe. When hunger strikes, don’t miss the legendary fried chicken at The Heron.
A short drive east opens the broader Catskills: the fly fishing mecca of Livingston Manor, the farm breweries and craft cider houses of Sullivan County, and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the original Woodstock site, just 20 minutes away. In every season, this corner of New York rewards those who seek it out.

Beaverbrook is about 2 hours from New York City and guests can travel around by car as it is a rural area with limited public transportation. The main routes to access the town are NJ Route 80, Route 15/206, 9W or NY-17 to Route 84.

In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.

Notes from your host

Please Note: This home does not have window coverings on any windows or glass doors, creating an open, light-filled space that feels fully immersed in the surrounding natural beauty.

Please pull the grill at least 3 feet away from the house before using. This will prevent heat damage to the siding.
