the cardinal and purple martin were the exactly perfect cabins for our weekend! the property is stunning, the lake and hiking trails were incredible. the cabins themselves were clean and functional, but still adorably charming and rustic. that’s a hard line to walk and it’s executed immaculately. it was so peaceful and feels secluded while still being close to town if we needed something. if you are planning to make food when you stay, i would recommend against trying to use the oven. it does not quite work like an oven, more like a toaster oven or air fryer. however there is a blackstone that is incredibly helpful. i would stay here again and was so grateful for our lovely weekend!
