Very peaceful nature experience. Sweet town with lots of sugar bushes and sweet people. Amazing space for a pleasant family evening and also a Cozy/romantic get away with a partner. Away from the city but accessible to all amenities. Hosts were amazing at response and helpful. *totally worth the price*

we had a pleasant weekend there ! kids weren't to happy as no smores because of fire ban and mom bought bad dvds fir them to watch at Walmart. first world problems lol . thanks again Mark!
nous avons adoré notre séjour. c'était super bien situer, les alentours étais super a visiter. on est aller a la plage de arnprior et nous avons passée un tres bon moment. Mark s'est assurée que nous ayons ce qu'on avait besoin Je recommande cet endroit à n'importe quel famille qui voyage dans le coin

it was a great place to stay and nice cost location in Clayton. Bigger towns were easily accessible. Their place had a basement lounge which was the best part and a backyard to build the bonfire and spend the night chatting in the woods. I would recommend the team to install an exhaust in the washroom as it got quite damp and humid after shower especially when it's one washroom and 3-5 adults using it. But most of the stay was superb and comfortable.
A cozy and well equipped cabin. Very quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed the upstairs sitting room, it was a really comfortable space to rest and relax. Price was very reasonable. We really enjoyed the general store down the road. Worth checking out!

The price was just fine. It is all the admin and cleaning fees that give a false impression of costs. Please give an all inclusive rate to avoid confusion.
Well stocked and cozy spot for a ski weekend, will stay again! Positive: Private wooded spot a short drive to the ski hill Negative: We were hoping to use the fire pit but it was completely buried in snow.
Sympathique chalet de campagne, bien équipé et proche d'Ottawa Positive: Logement spacieux et bien agencé. Nous avons apprécié passer du temps dans le basement, aménagé en salon avec poêle à bois, rocking-chairs et même un sapin ! Très joli décor et ambiance de Noël. Chambres également bien équipées pour le rangement , avec une literie confortable. Cuisine ouverte où rien ne manque pour cuisiner. Negative: Les TV sont un peu compliquées à utiliser. Pour les nuits d'hiver canadien, des petites couvertures sur les lits, cependant des couettes chaudes seraient appréciées. Quelques produits de toilettes, individuels, auraient été bienvenus dans la salle de bains (savon, shampoing, bain douche ....), ainsi qu'un sèche-cheveux. Pas d'accueil physique, et un système de réservation à distance (plateforme) qui aurait besoin d'être quelque peu allégé, voir simplifié.

Make sure you don’t make the same mistakes as I did as you will not get your money back Positive: Nice and spacious, private Negative: They use a different payment method and I accidentally booked an extra night and two extra pets. It wasn’t user friendly. The manager of the home sent me a message saying they approved my changes and that I would be refunded after my stay for the extra charges and that was not the case. Very disappointed
1st Canadian Adventure We had a great stay. The house was just what we needed. We enjoyed the firepit, played games, and toured the area. Even spotted a deer in the yard one morning. The road could be a small concern if you have children or pets as the cars speed past and trees block the view of the driveway. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Good location, calm but not enough heat for november. Positive: Lock problematic to open Negative: Visit in Mid-November and the temperature lower itself during the night so it was pretty cold in the morning.
Our stay was fine, it met our needs.
Beautiful area, absolutely wonderful with the leaves changing. House was clean and private without being completely secluded. Host is very kind, clear instructions given, responsive and helpful. Great place to stay!
The cabin itself is very nice, but ... - neither satellite nor "smart TV" -- unusable - "air conditioning" consists of a portable AC that wasn't installed - the so-called "Captain's Quarters" is just a semi-finished basement - all communications were handled by an American company, called Upstay (google it), that doesn't know anything about the unit or the town. Questions (e.g., "where is there public access to the lake across the street") were answered by AI (uselessly). - all phone numbers of airbnb go to this company. However, the owner (Mark) did leave his number in the unit. When I reached him, he was very apologetic. He actually told me that he didn't even know that Upstay had created an airbnb account, which he has never seen.

We had an amazing stay at Mark's place. This place was clean, cozy and exactly the way it was described and shown in the pictures – the perfect spot for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent with nearby cute and beautiful towns. The barbecue was perfect. The kitchen had everything that you would need. The hosts are exceptionally responsive and offer outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend this place and would gladly return.

We had a great stay. The house was exactly as described, and spotlessly clean. So peaceful and in a beautiful area. Cute store up the road with very friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful stay in Mississippi Mills! The home was cozy, clean making it the perfect retreat. Mark was a great host—friendly and available to answer any questions. The surrounding area was peaceful. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Mark’s place was quiet and peaceful- just what we were looking for. The cabin had the basics. Even for the price, we found the mattresses uncomfortable.
Lots of room, easy access The kitchen had everything we needed and we really appreciated the stocked coffee bar. Great bathroom. The stairs to the lower level are a bit tricky so be careful. Bring your own water as the well water is.. well water :-) There were some bottles in the fridge left by the host.The coffee was fine using the well water. An older cottage with some nice updates.
Le logement est très spacieux et propre. Le sous sol donne un cachet chaleureux...Il loge facilement 6 personnes... La communication avec Mark était interactive. Nous avons signalé une odeur particulière de l'eau; ce serait semble-t-il lié aux incidences d'une grande chute de neige dans les jours précédents. Le foyer à bois inutilisable est également lié à cette chute. Nous avons obtenu un dédommagement rapide de 50$ pour le foyer. Nous avons dû chauffer le 1er niveau, notamment les chambres, avec des chaufrettes d'appoint... Il serait bien d'avoir des couettes d'hiver sur les lits ainsi que des grandes couvertures au cas où...

Great place to stay and well worth the price.only issue was it was very cold upon arrival and took hrs to heat up, would definitely recommend and would stay again.thank you for hosting us.

Mark is a very responsive and friendly, personable Host. The home is very clean and tidy and well-appointed. I had to leave after one night, 12 hours, due to environmental/air quality which was having an adverse effect on my breathing. It might be that I'm more sensitive than most people to chemical smells and cleaners. I found the road a bit close to the rental and busy with traffic; not safe for free-roaming pups.
