This was the cleanest AirBnb I ever stayed in. Everything exactly as described. Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of cookware, spices, etc. Bathrooms appointed nicely with plenty of extra towels. Hot tub was well worth it, super clean and very nice. Back deck is spacious as is the yard. Perfect house for families. I used the indoor and outdoor fire pit. Some wood provided, I'd recommend getting wood from the forest as well or bringing extra logs and fire starter. Only thing they didn't have I could have used was laundry detergent and a spare charger (mine broke). Again, kitchen was excellent. Furniture and decor look just like pictures. Beautiful home.
My family and I spent one of the most wonderful and magical weekends at the Red Cottage. The communication with the host was fast and clear, and everything looked just like the photos — or even better! The playground and hot tub were the highlights.
The fall scenery was absolutely beautiful. We can’t wait to come back and take another peaceful break from the city. We all left feeling completely recharged. Thank you!
The house is identical to the photos, everything is very clean, comfortable, and organized. If you need a great rest, you'll get it in this house. My children loved it.!!!
Red Cottage was very communicative and responsive leading up to our stay. Once we checked in, there was a bit of a hiccup with trash expectations. As we were told we needed to take out the trash upon arrival before we got to check in. But, due to presence of black bears (one in sight once we got there), we did not feel comfortable doing as directed since we have a few small children with us. The communication about the trash was a bit delayed, and we finally were able to take the trash out but not before it became dark. Also there is only AC in the main room and primary bedroom. the other rooms had fans. One room's fan did not work, and when I reached out, they confirmed this was true but did not offer a solution until I specifically asked them to please provide us with an alternative. Aside from those two issues, we honestly enjoyed our stay. You need to be proactive about voicing your concerns. We used the grill pretty much every day. Everything else was well stocked!

Stayed over New Years with a group of friends - we loved it! The house was comfortable and cozy with a well-appointed kitchen and comfortable sleeping areas. I'm 5'9 and usually struggle in twin beds, but I was shocked at how comfortable I was sleeping in the bunks. It was very cold while we were there and the house generally stayed warm. We LOVED the indoor fireplace! The one-star ding on is due solely to a lack of snow removal from a snowstorm on 12/27, three days prior to our arrival, which created a slippery safety hazard on the front path and exterior steps. However, the hosts were very compassionate and responsive about this issue via text and sent a groundskeeper the next morning (New Years Day!) who cleared as much as he could; since it was not removed fresh, it had gotten packed and icy. He also fixed the frozen water line to the hot tub, and the hosts insta-carted us a bag of ice melt. Overall, we would definitely stay at this property again, especially in warmer seasons.
We floated the Delaware River which is only 10 mins away. It was perfect for us.
