This place is perfect for a weekend getaway. It is exactly as depicted and cozy, clean and comfortable. Hosts are very communicative and respond relatively quickly. Just be sure to confirm exact check in instructions before arrival!

We loved staying in Roscoe! We were vacationing with 2 children (1 year old and 5 year old) and spent hours up at the pond. We had such a good time and no one wanted to leave!

Great little cozy cabin! The hot tub was amazing, everything was clean and comfortable, and we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our stay in Roscoe. The interior was in great shape and the hot tub was a lovely amenity. Convenient location to Roscoe and Livingston Manor which both had great shops, restaurants and hiking trails.

I was so excited for my weekend stay but was sadly extremely disappointed upon arrival. First, when I inquired about early check in, they wanted to nickel and dime me requesting an extra $50 for early check in. Once I arrived I was appalled at the condition. There was a large hole in the exterior that they attempted to cover with tape, the paint was peeling everywhere. The weed were growing so tall they reached my knees. One dock for the lake was floating away and the other dock area looked corroded. The exterior chairs and tables were dirty and looked so old I don't think they could support the weight of an adult. Inside, wasn't much better. The bathroom sink fixture was peeling, the base boards were pulling away from the wall. The fridge was dented, an outlet was broken exposing the internal electrical wires. And, while I know this is not a necessity most Airbnbs have some sort of welcome package. This place had nothing, not even the WiFi network or password available (printed form).

We had a great stay at the home. The home was clean and just what we were looking for. Our favorite part of the home was the hot tub, which we ended every night in after a long day of fly fishing.

We really enjoyed our stay at what we called the “Roscoe Retreat”! It was beautiful and peaceful. Exactly what we were hoping for. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy. We explored the town which included the Roscoe Diner and Northern Family Pasta which we loved so much! We enjoyed using the kitchen and cooking at “home” as well. It was peaceful all day and night. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cute, relaxing and refreshing getaway!

Beautiful stay! We loved the hot tub and the couch was AMAZING!! Which was good because it was very rainy! Great family getaway despite the weather. Grill worked great, comfy beds, excellent communication from the hosts. Make sure you note the WiFi password before you arrive because there was only SOS until we were able to connect. Will seek these hosts’ properties out again.

The location of the property is perfect; a few minutes to the town of Roscoe, 12 min to Livingston Manor, 25 min to Jeffersonville or 15 min to Callicoon. The house looked exactly like the listing. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, had everything we needed to cook meals everyday. The property includes a private pond, outdoor sitting area by the pond and the fire pit. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening sunset-gazing there. It is such a beautiful scenery. We enjoyed this property very much!

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The location is pretty secluded, offering a perfect forest retreat. The jacuzzi was a fun highlight, and the house was fully stocked with all the kitchen supplies and amenities. The fireplace had plenty of firewood, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Communication with the host was also very fast and smooth. We will definitely come back again.

I really loved this place. The cabin is fully private and separate, so you can truly relax without any noise or disturbance. The beautiful lake nearby and the peaceful atmosphere made it even more special. Restaurants are also just a 5-minute drive away, which is very convenient. I want to say a big thank you to the people who created this amazing place for others to enjoy and feel comfortable. Everywhere I went, I met kind and welcoming people. Beautiful, peaceful space in the Catskill Mountains. The home was extremely clean & beautifully arranged for my wife and I to feel comfortable at home. The Jacuzzi is a wonderful, all appliances work. I would definitely book again. The only nitpick is, on arrival, the access code that I was given didn’t work and I had to call the owners for a backup code to get on the house.

We had a very enjoyable getaway and truly loved our stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing escape. The hot tub was a huge highlight, perfect for unwinding and the grill was great as well. We really enjoyed cooking out and spending time outside. The only small hiccup was some difficulty getting in with the entry code at first, but it was resolved shortly after and everything went smoothly from there. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely come back!

The house was warm, cozy, and was exactly what was described. It was incredible. It would’ve been perfect if it wasn’t for check-in and post check-out. When we first arrived it was 0 degrees outside, the code they provided for the front door did not work. Then I was told there was a lock box in the back yard with a physical key. The lockbox was impossible to open and after standing in the freezing cold I finally got it open and there was no key. I had to call them to get an alternate code, it was really cold and took a while. And then 2 hours after we checked out and started heading home, I received a text that I had left something at the house and was told I could go back and get it. I took the 2 hour drive back to the house and then was told that they can’t give it to me and only ship it. I had wasted a lot of time and money. They eventually told me I didn’t have to pay for shipping and got a refund. All in all, it was not very professional checking in and then returning my item.

What a beautiful home and location! This place looked just like the pictures. The hot tub was amazing and clean. The staff were super helpful and responded quickly. They even accommodated an early check in. The one downside is the driveway wasn't plowed when we arrived but thanks to a helpful neighbor, a plow truck did come on the 2nd day. You definitely need snow tires and 4 wheel drive to visit in the winter. We had everything we needed to cook. The bed was super comfy and so was the couch, just a little low for us getting up and down. We felt right at home. When we got stuck in the snow in the driveway, the neighbor across the street and the cleaning person for the home were super helpful. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful, relaxing, and secluded stay. The staff were super accommodating and attentive. I would definitely book again.

Cute, quaint house with beautiful views! The house itself is charming and has a great layout. While it’s smaller than the pictures might suggest, the living room, kitchen, and bathroom are very spacious. The bedrooms are sufficient for two people each, but storage is extremely limited—there are no dressers and barely any space to hang clothes, so I recommend coming prepared to live out of your suitcase. Owners, a suggestion would be to use the wall space in these rooms for additional storage for clothes and travel items. The house has lovely amenities, including a hot tub, which we really enjoyed. We visited in the winter, but I can only imagine how beautiful the area must be in spring or summer for hiking and enjoying the pond. A word of caution: if you have children, be careful around the pond—it was snow-covered when we visited, and it’s easy to mistake the land for the pond as it’s very close to the house. The local area has some limitations, but we were able to find yummy food

The house looks nice overall and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, which made things very convenient, and the space was comfortable. The listing mentions that the property was recently renovated; however, some details like the molding, tiles, and general finishing could be better maintained or done more carefully. We also noticed that some areas could have been cleaner — for example, the rugs and couch were a bit dusty, and our towels were left in the dryer when we arrived. Overall, it was a good stay, but considering the price, the cleanliness and attention to detail could be improved.

Me and my partner loved this small town and space. It was super cozy and secluded which we really enjoyed especially coming from NYC. The hot tub was excellent and felt amazing. The only hiccup was the door code but that was resolved with customer service in 5 min. I would come back again!

the house was perfect for what we were looking for. loved the hot tub! the only reason I gave it a 4 star was bc thr oven and stove didn't work and we had planned to spend the time cooking. luckily my partner is a chef and we were able to pivot and use the bbq.
