Wonderful view, quiet property, great spot for a getaway.

Beautiful piece of property and cottage right on the lake. Best sunrise in door county. Close to all mid and upper peninsula attractions.

A comfortable stay. A lovely water view, but no actual water access. The channel for boat parking is in the small slot adjacent to the larger channel shown in the pictures, and thus difficult to get on/off a boat here. It’s a peaceful location with a pleasant short walk to an excellent beach. The beach felt undiscovered, despite a holiday weekend. The cottage is a bit dated and expensive. That being said, I would recommend it.

Beautiful, peaceful location! Thoroughly enjoyed the pier, the fire pit, and the swing looking over the water! The home was stocked with everything we could have needed and also had many books, magazines, and games. Only complaints were that it was slightly damp inside (likely due to lack of central AC during late summer). But hey, that’s lake life I guess!

The property was exactly as pictured and described. The house was clean. The area is beautiful and in a great location. The neighbors were friendly and provided us with some good recommendations of local activities. The host was quick to respond to any questions or inquiries. I would highly recommend this property.

Really awful experience with

Location was perfect as a base to explore Door county

This was disappointing. We stayed the previous summer and it was great. This summer there was a terrible musty smell when we walked in. There was black mold on the bathroom wall and dead bugs in the house, live ones too, but more dead. I contacted the rental company about these issues and they said they would get back to me. I didn't hear anything for 2 days so I sent another message that my clothes hanging in the bedroom closet were damp, since that closet was next to the bathroom with the mold I didn't know if it was related. The company said they could have a handyman come out the next day. Since that was the last day of our trip, and we didn't want to wait around for a handyman, we declined. Other small things were disappointing, they left 1 washcloth for two people to share for 4 days, the two containers of coffee had expired in 2021 and 2025 (I brought coffee pods with me, but couldn't use them with the coffee pot), there was a lot of dust/cobwebs. Like I said, the summer before we really enjoyed staying here. After this summer, we will not be paying 800 a night to stay again.

The place was just what we were looking for, a cottage in Door County near the water. You can see the lake from the living room and there's outdoor space to enjoy the peace of the area. You will need to drive everywhere, but that's expected when you're looking for a place that's more secluded. The cottage is very homey and comfortable and we would stay here again.

Quiet end of the street right on the water! Can’t beat the sunrise and wildlife you might see right on the lake. AND—so close to many fun things to do!

We had a great time in this house. Nice lakefront location. Main strip and shops is a drive away and cell service isn’t great. Wifi in house worked pretty well, minor issues. Beds were comfortable and shower had great pressure. Overall we had a great stay!

The place was beautiful and on the water. Off the beaten path a bit but really nice.

We had a nice stay, slight confusion with door code but we were helped immediately. I thought the pier was private to the home but it was public, all the visitors were nice and my kids had a great time fishing every night!

Wonderful place to stay, hope to go back again

A nice and quiet place to stay. A short drive into town to do things.

Getaway weekend Stay was wonderful really enjoyed the sunrise. Cabin was nice and clean and very quiet and peaceful. Could see the big dipper as big as can be right outside the picture windows. We would definitely come back.

Gorgeous Lake Views Lovely quiet location

Idyllic location This was a perfect spot for a family vacation in Door County! Our girls (10 & 11) enjoyed exploring the pier and fishing every evening. The fire pit was lovely.

Cottage needs help We recently stayed at the Waters End Cottage in Sister Bay and were very disappointed. Upon first entry, we found dirty linens and towels from the previous tenants, unvacuumed floors, broken blind in the living room. A phone call got someone to pick up the laundry, but at bedtime we were then short bedding for the sofa bed. The location was described as rural, but it was not tranquil. There was a steady stream of foot and vehicle traffic to the "private pier." The area leading to the fire pit and swing (which were in poor condition) was not recently mowed. We felt it was way overpriced for what we got, and would not repeat this experience.

Quiet area Cute house right on Lake Michigan with porch and and fire pit. Very private and quiet area but within a few miles to some stores/restaurants and only 20 minutes from Bailey's Harbor and 25 minutes to Peninsula State Park. We enjoyed our stay.
