Communications with the Host were very easy and timely.The property and setting are wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would expect and more. The relaxing 6 minute tram ride down to the beach area was wonderful except for anyone who doesn’t like heights. ;-) The views of the river and the Stillwater Bridge, especially at night, were mesmerizing.The county road right outside the front yard is used a lot, but the great insulation in the house makes the traffic noise non-noticeable. The second you close the front door you don’t hear the traffic at all. Overall, a lovely place to stay.
We really enjoyed the property itself—it fit our large group well, had plenty of beds, beautiful waterfront views, and a great location. We especially loved having Big Guys BBQ down the road!That said, the stay was more challenging than expected, mostly due to management and upkeep. For three nights, we were given only one roll of kitchen towels and ran out of toilet paper, with no extras available. We were told we would need to purchase more ourselves. The floors were dirty with spiders, and several pillows were heavily stained. Parking was also difficult. Future guests - plan to bring extra essentials.Access was another challenge. There was only one key for our group of 11, the doors were not code-locked, and they were not especially easy to operate.Most importantly, communication with management was slow, with response times sometimes reaching 3 or 4 hours. They did eventually provide support, but it wasn't especially timely or convenient.Overall, we loved the space, waterfront, and location. With more attention to cleanliness, stocking basic supplies, easier entry access, and more responsive - ideally local -management, this could be a great stay.
Awesome house with a great host!! Check in was easy, house was very comfortable and well appointed with supplies! The view of the river was beautiful! I would highly recommend!!
We really enjoyed the views from the house. Large windows with views of the water and Stillwater bridge. High end appliances. The driveway is on highway 35 so the traffic comes fast and there is some road noise. The tram holds 4 people and takes 6-6.5 minutes per trip to go up or down. For a larger group you have to plan accordingly. The sandy beach is very nice with a small canopy for shade and beach chairs. The dock/pier is large and very stable. We parked 2 boats and it worked really well.

Beautiful house on the river. Awesome views and ride on a trolley is a great extra bonus. Very atmospheric and picturesque! House is in a convenient location and it’s easy to get around the area. Kelly was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Overall Kelly’s place was great, it was clean and felt like new. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is we had hot water issues that took longer than expected to resolve. I don’t want to tank the reviews completely by giving a lower star rating, but I do want to be honest. If you happen to stay there, and the hot water isn’t working, what we did to fix was to turn off the circuit to the water heater, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on. It’s a simple fix, but the property manager and host didn’t give good instructions. They mentioned the circuit breaker, which I found in the garage, and everything there was fine. BUT what neither mentioned is there are two circuit panels in the house, the other found in the downstairs bedroom. That’s the one we eventually found, and fixed the issue.
This place is tops!! My daughter and her four kids thought it was just right. “The kids were thrilled!”

Beautiful house overlooking the St Croix. Easy access to Hudson and Stillwater for shops, restaurants, amenities. Very clean, well appointed.
