Lovely home and grounds with excellent view. missed having an indoor table for eating and games. coffee pot ridiculous for six people. way too small.

We had a lovely stay by lake Michigan! The location by the lake is absolutely stunning and we absolutely loved being able to sit by the fire put and look up at the stars!

Thank you for a wonderful stay last weekend. We loved the beautiful view, the privacy, and how perfect the property was for our friends and puppies. The deck and grill were great for relaxing, the location was easy to find, and it was convenient to be so close to town while still having nice places to walk the dogs. We will definitely be back!

We had a good stay. The property was fairly clean - though we did find ticks inside, but I guess that’s the nature of the area. The bugs outdoors were pretty bad, we didn’t spend as much time outdoors as we would have liked and the outdoor furniture had not been cleaned before our arrival (covered in spider webs and debris), so we didn’t use them. No AC in the home, but they do provide you with a few fans. The water is very shallow and rocky, but we wanted to get in the lake either way - only regretted that we didn’t bring water shoes. But it’s definitely not safe for kids. Overall our stay was okay, but I do think the property is way overpriced. We only booked it because we had Vrbo Care after another owner canceled on us. Ordinarily I would not have booked this place at full price, but the options are slim during the summer season.

We had an enjoyable, peaceful stay at the Cottage on Lake Michigan. It was just as the listing pictured and described. There were beautiful sunsets and sunrises reflected in the waters of the lake.

The Simple Life team was great and super responsive. The cottage is cute and in a very peaceful setting right on the lake. The house itself was fine, a bit overpriced for what it was. It was a little dirty - stained couch and kinda dirty bathroom. It could also use a restock of kitchen supplies, like there were no mugs and one very small cutting board. Overall though we enjoyed our stay - felt a bit more like glamping.

Great location right on the water! Really enjoyed having a fire pit and being able to wade right into the lake. In addition to the 3 portable fans mentioned in the description, we were pleasantly surprised that all 3 bedrooms also had ceiling fans. With highs of 80 and lows at night if 65 the weekend we were there, felt pretty comfortable.

The house was very clean. The view of the water was great. The size was fine for the two of us but may feel a bit small for a family with children. Although there is a nice breeze off the lake, air conditioning on humid days would have been nice.

Quiet,peaceful, private location Owners provided full details by email the week before our stay. The home was clean and all the amenities were provided for pleasant lake house stay. The WiFi and satellite TV was easy and straightforward to access. The Lake Michigan side of Door County is less busy and the best area to unwind and relax.

Beautiful, Peaceful and Relaxing Very quiet. We absolutely loved it. The stars both nights were both of my daughter’s and my wife’s favorite part. You could see the Milky Way! Countless shooting stars!

Tranquility Bay The view is amazing, watched the sunrise every morning. We were lucky the weather was in the mid 70's in July, there is no A/C at this rental so keep that in mind when choosing this location.

A Relaxing Weekend We really enjoyed the views from this location. It was very quiet and peaceful and private. When we arrived a Bald Eagle soared above us. We skipped rocks, and swam, and fished. We had bonfires, and laughed, and listened to music. The drive to Sister Bay is less than 10 minutes, and a straight shot, making it super easy to visit the beach, shops, and restaurants. The "cabin" has been updated and is nice. There is no air conditioning, but the breeze from the lake makes sleeping just fine. We would stay at this location again.

Room for 3 not 6 Property has beautiful view and yard. Common space inside is very small. No table, 3 stools and room for 3 in living room. Cross your fingers for good weather. Definitely no room for 6 on a rainy day.

Door County The home was nice and the area private and quiet. It took many phone calls to check in and then had to call again to get an access code. NOTHING was sent prior to the stay.
