Please Note: As with many historic city neighborhoods, parts of the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood are lively and still developing. While our street has plenty of charm, we recommend exploring with the same awareness you would bring to any city setting: lock your car, bring valuables inside, and use the well-lit driveway for peace of mind. For added security, there are exterior cameras at the front of the house (none inside or in the backyard).

- No pets allowed.
- No parties allowed—violations may result in immediate termination of the stay. We aim to maintain a respectful environment for our neighbors.
- An exterior camera is installed solely to monitor our cleaning team for quality and security purposes.
- Driveway parking is available for 2 vehicles, or 4 smaller vehicles if parked tightly. Street parking is not permitted.
- If you're interested in a long-term stay, please reach out to inquire about availability
- Guests must be 21 years or older to book this property.
- Guests must climb stairs – the home is multi-level.

GUEST VERIFICATION:
To help ensure a smooth and secure stay for all guests, the primary guest listed on the reservation may be asked to complete a quick verification process within 48 hours of booking, depending on the platform used to book the reservation.

Prior to check-in, guests may also be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes agreeing to our rental terms and conditions and, on certain booking platforms, providing a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card before arrival.

“Good location for our weekend stay in the city. We left our car parked in the driveway the whole time and walked or used the free Connector. House was really clean and supplied except it lacked a hairdryer. The neighborhood is pretty gentrified except the street the rental is on. That being said, the neighbors never bothered us and we felt safe. It was noisy at night, especially staying in the front green bedroom, glad I packed my noise canceling headphones! Thank you Denise!”

“Velvet Haus is a beautifully decorated home with everything we needed for a weekend in Cincinnati with the convenience of the Over the Rhine area. Definitely an oasis.”

“Upon first arrival the location may seem a little iffy but as we walked around the neighborhood we found everyone to be friendly and talkative. Speaking of location, we were a 7 minute walk to Findlay Market where you can catch the trolley as well. Furthermore, if you head directly south from the house you go straight into downtown. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Head north and Cincinnati University is only a 5 to 10 minute drive, depending on traffic and time of day. The house itself is in great condition and very secure. The colors were rich and the style had a Victorian style that blended nicely with the modern touch. Backyard was relaxing as was the third floor rooftop patio. Rooms were spacious with good closet space and beds were comfortable. If you have a young person with you they would probably be best suited to sleep on the pullout bed on third floor. Bathrooms were more than adequate. All rooms were clean and neat upon arrival All basic needs were provided. If I come back to Cincinnati with my family I will ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Very, very happy with this property in all respects.”
