The location of this house is perfect for the beach, and the views are absolutely incredible! Unfortunately, the condition and cleanliness of the house really took away from the experience.When we arrived, the kitchen countertops were dirty and needed to be cleaned before we could use them, and the floors were also very dirty. The house is in pretty rough shape overall and definitely needs some updates and maintenance.The upstairs AC, especially in the master bedroom, did not cool properly. We notified the property about the issue, but unfortunately nothing was done during our stay. The mattresses were also extremely uncomfortable — honestly, they felt like sleeping on rocks.I really wanted to love this place because the location and views are hard to beat. With some thorough cleaning, updated furniture and mattresses, AC repairs, and some general updates to the home, I think this could be a really great beach house.Unfortunately, based on our experience, I wouldn’t be able to recommend staying here in its current condition.
This house has plenty of space for everyone, we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked for meal prep and cooking. There were games and books there as well. The elevator was so nice when loading and unloading. The dunes are realy high and do block some of the ocean view but that's just nature. There were a couple of issues while we were there. The wifi was knocked out during a storm but the manager got it restored quickly. The master bedroom is considerably warmer than the other rooms, maintenance came out and did something with the duct work but it didn't make a difference. The jacuzzi in the master bath didn't work, a work order was placed but it wasn't resolved while we were there. These issues weren't a huge deal just a minor bump in the road. However, you can tell the cleaning services rushes through, this home is in need of a deep clean and general maintenance.
My family loved our stay here! The location was perfect! The layout of the house was perfect for our very large family! It was very close to the beach and the pool, which was great!! We really had a great time and my family said it was their favorite and wanted to return!! Thank you!!
We had the time of our lives! The house was gorgeous. Our littles had the time of their lives. I'd go back in a heartbeat!!

overall our experience was good. Some minor issues with the house but I would stay here again. The ice machine does not work and the repair person never showed to fix it. The linens provided are terrible-sheets won't stay on the beds and the towels are tiny and thin. Again, overall our stay was good.
We had a friend group of 8 adults and 8 children and it was perfect for us. We enjoyed the en suite bathrooms in each bedroom. The layout of house was nice. The kitchen was well stocked and we always had what we needed to make meals. View from top deck was stunning, great for dolphin watching. We also loved that the stairs from porch went directly to boardwalk to get to beach. We had an amazing time.

Family reunion was made all the better by the wonderful home and Jen who made sure every little detail was attended to during our vacation. The elevator was a lifesaver for unloading upon arrival as well as loading up at departure but we used the steps the entire rest of the stay. Coffee on the deck at sunrise, plenty of room for our group is 9 kids and 8 adults to spread out, a short walk to the clean beach...can’t think of anything that would have made it better other than being able to stay another week. We only ate out once at Tacky Jack 2 and the food and service were excellent. We will be back for sure!
We truly enjoyed our visit at the end of May. The house is beautiful and more than equipped with all we needed. Plenty of parking for our 6 vehicles and easy to locate. The elevator was wonderful for sending up our luggage and coolers. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again.
Turtle Dunes was a fantastic home for our 15 member family vacation. The location was great. The family enjoyed the water, sand volleyball, crab hunting, hiking, fishing, and the nearby golf course. The house itself provided plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and it is well maintained. The management company was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again.
The house is beautiful and very comfortable with a great location. They view from either balcony is great and nice for a morning coffee or evening drink. The house was very clean and well kept. The elevator was worth the price for getting to the 2nd and 3rd floor. The only issue we had was the satellite was out and non functional during the stay. If traveling with kids bring a Roku or Firestick......Or force them to enjoy the outdoors. Would stay again and recommend highly.

It was still a great rental and we would definitely recommend it!

The home was nicely decorated and very clean. Everyone had plenty of space for privacy and for gathering. The decks were nice, but we had to do maintenance on many of the deck screws protruding. We had several mishaps with people tripping on them. Although the description boasts of an elevator, it was deadbolted and not available for our use. Thankfully, we had plenty of hands to help with bags. Overall, this is a nice home for a small crowd.
The rental was very spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. The view from the third floor was great. The elevator was a lifesaver for me. I could not have done the trip without it! Would have been nice to have grab bars in main shower. The kitchen needed a deep cleaning. The stove and dishwasher need to be replaced. One couch was broken and I could not sit on it because it made my back hurt! The property manager was very professional and attentive. She handled any issues I had very promptly and friendly. We enjoyed having access to the swimming pool in the evenings. This was a “Girls Trip” which included me, 3 daughters and 4 granddaughters and overall we had a really good time. The area was quite, peaceful, and relaxing ( which is just what we were looking for). Thanks for sharing Turtle Dunes with us!
We had a wonderful week with our family at the beach house. We didn’t have any issues at all. Everything was perfect!
The house was lovely, lots of space and room for our family and extended family. The elevator was what we needed for my father, who has mobility issues. There were some features that did not work properly: one of the stove eyes did not work and the wifi was awful! But, the property was fine and the location was perfect!
Overall very happy with the rental. Layout of home was great with excellent views of the Gulf. Easy access to beach and pool. Would gladly return again.
My husbands entire family spent 5 nights during Thanksgiving at the Turtle Dunes. His 80th birthday was was the day after Thanksgiving. Everyone had a wonderful time and we’re pleased that we came to Fort Morgan to celebrate. The view and beach were incredible. Most everything was great. My husband is ina motorized wheelchair. It was very tight getting him in the elevator, but we were able to manage it. There are two areas that we felt could be easily improved: 1) add some grab bars in the shower in the master bath, and near the commode; and 2) update the kitchen amenities, such as add some measuring cups and spoons and other utensils, and update the cookware. We did a lot of cooking this trip and it would be nice to have had these things. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and loved the area!

Awesome, Fabulous, Exceptional - these are some of the words used by our group of 9 ladies who thoroughly enjoyed this house, its layout, its view, and its cleanliness and handy kitchenware. We were also impressed with the personal service from Allison who helped with the WiFi and disposal issue. We have vacationed for 40 years and this may have been our best! Thank you so much!
Had a great time had no issues with rental but the decks and stairs need work . Railing was a little loose and decks showing it age
Turtle Dunes is a nice home, right on the beach that was perfect for our large family vacation! We had fourteen in our group and we had plenty of room. And the access to the beach was great!
We had a wonderful experience staying at Turtle Dunes. The property was clean and well maintained. Directions for using electronics and elevator were very clear and kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The Wifi password was the only hitch, but Thomas was very quick to pass along a working one. The only downside was no recycle, though I realize that may not be available in your area:(
