Pollyanna was a pleasure to host! LOVED THIS HOUSE! Unfortunately due to damage around the island and at no fault to the owners or the property management- construction next door is insane. Noise ordinance allows construction to start at 7am on weekdays and 8am sat. The house shook, construction workers blasted spanish music all day and nothing like waking to the beep beep of dump trucks backing up. Our road was literally closed due to all the equipment and work. We were at the beach a lot so that was helpful. Our favorite part of the house was the upper deck to have coffee and visit but the spanish music and construction workers yelling to each other was annoying. It won’t be forever but make sure you scout around and see what’s going on for construction near a possible rental. There is a tiny sealed salt and pepper available. Nothing else in the pantry at all. There is one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, a sponge and tiny dish soap. 2 pods for dishwasher and 2 pods for washing machine fyi.

It was a pleasure hosting Katie! We hope to host them in the future! We LOVED our stay - the home is beautiful and backyard is resort-like. Great for a family or small group. It’s advertised as a 2 br but is really a full 3 (one room is bunk room). Everything was brand new and as pictured… appliances, decor, furnishings… Location is great - right in the mix in Holmes Beach. Walking distance to Ugly Grouper, the beach, ice cream, coffee, parks and more. Minor cons… The alarms on the door were a bit of a pain. The top sliding door alarm was malfunctioning and would make a loud alarm sound every time we exited, even when we followed appropriate protocol to deactivate to exit. I understand why they have them as the pool is not directly fenced in and stairs are steep - not at all suitable for children unsupervised. We were also told the home had a pack n play and did not when we arrived late Monday night with our 20 mo old. After a bit of back and forth, AMI accommodations was very accommodating and delivered one to us around 8pm. Very professional.

We hope to host you again in the future! Three Little Birds looked just like the photos. Outside area was great. Pool was heated but not overly hot. Having a TV in the pool area made it perfect for having music while swimming. The pool was pretty much in the shade all day, so I didn’t have to worry about my little girls getting sunburned. One thing the owners did that stood out the most to me was all the hocks in the bedrooms for hanging up clothes or swimsuits. That was a huge plus to me. The kitchen was amazing and all high quality appliances. Shower had strong water pressure. If you are someone that isn’t used to having an extra large shower in your normal home, then the shower would feel like a spa like experience for you. Personal preference, the floors could have been cleaned better, but that’s not the owner’s nor booking companies fault. I would definitely book here again and recommend to anyone that is on the fence. You won’t be disappointed! ~Stacy
