About this property

First chair at Deer Valley East, a snowy hot tub soak, then a showdown for the arcade high score!

• About 10 min to Deer Valley East
• Sleeps 14 across 4 bedrooms
• Hot tub off the game room
• 3 arcade machines & ping-pong
• Cozy fireplace & sectional
• Free Utah State Parks pass

Picture it: first chair at Deer Valley East, just 10 minutes from the driveway, then boots off, cocoa in hand, and the whole crew crowded around the fire arguing over who really holds the arcade high score. Welcome to your mountain playground in Hideout, a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home above Jordanelle Reservoir built for big groups and even bigger snow days!

Sleeping arrangements:

• Bedroom 1: King bed, ensuite bath with soaking tub and walk-in shower, Smart TV
• Bedroom 2: Queen bed, Smart TV
• Bedroom 3: Twin bunk beds
• Bedroom 4: Bunk bed, ensuite bath, private balcony access
• Game room: Sofa bed

The kitchen: Fuel up for a powder morning in the fully stocked chef’s kitchen. It has high-end appliances, a big island with bar seating, and a dining table for six for hearty dinners after a long ski day.

The living room: Sink into the sectional by the fireplace, watch the snow drift past the big windows, and queue up a movie. The open layout flows right into the kitchen, so the cook never misses the fun.

The game room: Three arcade machines, a stack of board and card games, and sliding doors that open straight to the hot tub. Ping-pong waits in the garage for the rematch!

Outdoors: Soak those ski legs in the hot tub under the stars, fire up the grill on the covered porch, or take in the crisp mountain air from the private balcony. Your stay comes with a Utah State Parks pass for Jordanelle State Park and Rock Cliff Recreation Area. When the lake warms back up, the kayaks and paddle boards (life jackets included) are ready to go.

This home is a great fit for families and friend groups who want ski days and cozy nights in one trip. With two bunk rooms and a sofa bed, it works best for groups happy to share sleeping space.

Our local team is just a call away during your stay, so your only big decision is first chair or a second cup of cocoa.

The area

Tucked into the hills above Jordanelle Reservoir, Hideout sits in the sweet spot between Deer Valley, Park City, and the Heber Valley.

Skiing: About 10 minutes to Deer Valley East Village. Park City Mountain and the rest of Deer Valley are roughly 20 to 25 minutes away.

Food & drink: A short drive to restaurants and coffee in Heber City and Kimball Junction, and about 20 to 25 minutes to historic Main Street in Park City for après and dinner.

Outdoors: Jordanelle State Park is practically next door for crisp fall walks and snowy shoreline views, with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and sledding close by.

Groceries & essentials: About 15 minutes to full grocery stores in Heber City or Kimball Junction.

Airport: Roughly 45 to 50 minutes to Salt Lake City International Airport.

Local Dining Favorites:

Fine Dining:
🍽 Riverhorse on Main – Upscale American fare in an elegant, historic space.
🔥 Firewood – Wood-fired cuisine with a creative twist.
Casual Favorites:
🦞 Freshies Lobster Co. – 7 mi | Famous lobster rolls and seafood bowls.
🥗 Handle – 7–8 mi | Farm-to-table dishes and inventive cocktails.
🌱 Twisted Fern – 8 mi | Seasonal New American fare with fresh, local ingredients.
☕ Harvest – 8 mi | Cozy café serving wholesome breakfast and lunch.
🍛 Mumbai House – 8 mi | Authentic Indian cuisine.
🍔 Back 40 Ranch House Grill (Heber) – 15 min | Hearty American comfort food.

A car is the easiest way to explore. In winter we recommend AWD or 4WD with good snow tires, since mountain roads can get snowy. Uber and Lyft serve the area, but availability can be limited, especially late at night, so plan ahead for rides back from Main Street.

“The stay in Hidout was great for our quick weekend getaway. The house had everything we needed to make us feel at home. The location was perfectly located between Heber and Park City. Denise was a great host and responded in less than 15 minutes to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone wanting to get out of the city for some fresh mountain air.”
