1. The house wasn’t cleaned upon our arrival with the family—it was in terrible condition. 2. The host provided incorrect Wi-Fi credentials, and there is no grid coverage at the property. I had to drive several miles just to get back on the grid, then drive again later to read the host’s response, which came an hour or two later. They were couldn’t resolve the issues until the next day anyways. 3. The house only has one wall-mounted air conditioner per floor, and there is no other heating in any of the three bedrooms. If you leave the bedrooms doors open, the temperature can reach around 60 degrees, but if you close them (which is the whole point of having separate bedrooms), the temperature quickly drops to around 50 degrees. Half of my family caught a cold after sleeping in such conditions. 4. The “clean” bed sheets we found in the closets were badly stained, and there were dirty pots in the cabinets with old, moldy food in them. This was our worst experience ever in 10+ years

I pride myself as a renter in “pride of ownership” and it’s clear to me that the photos shown on the site were not taken recently. My family and I were so disappointed in the state we found the house. The kitchen was not clean (to my standards) (silverware not clean for one) and living area was not welcoming. Garbage cans, in back, were either on its side or down in the gulley. Just feel like I was mislead from what I viewed on the site which I find discouraging, to say the least.

The house was very run-down and not as described. When we arrived, the home was still being cleaned after 4:00 p.m. The Wi-Fi instructions were inaccurate, which caused us to drive into town multiple times on the night of our arrival to try to resolve the issue. The keypad for the front door did not work. The lower level/basement heat was inadequate, requiring all doors to be left open, and even then the bedrooms rarely exceeded 62 degrees. Overall, the house was not comfortable and was in poor condition. The kitchen was extremely outdated, with missing cabinet doors, and the dishwasher did not properly clean dishes. The sink water appeared undrinkable, with visible particles floating in it. The fireplace was also unusable during our stay. Due to these issues, we were very disappointed with our experience and chose to leave one day earlier than planned.
