Our family of five loved staying at the cabin. We could have easily had another family with us with all the space and extra bedroom we had. Drinking coffee from the deck watching the sunrise and set over the mountains was magical. The slide and bunk beds were an immediate favorite of our young kiddos and we all loved the arcade games and hot tub. The rooms were cleaned and well supplied with linens and towels. Bonus with a washing machine being on site for our use. We had a few issues like the dishwasher breaking and missing highchair but Kylie quickly sent paper plates and a new highchair for our use. Very communicative. A lot of what we did was in Asheville and hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway so the drive to those places was 40-60 mins. The drive to the cabin was on some steep and winding roads with sharp switchbacks so my recommendation is arriving during daylight hours. FYI: Ski Valley road was open to all cars except trucks, despite the sign, we used it all week with no issue.

I would check with the host to make sure everything is working before you arrive.

The place look just like the pictures. It was beautiful and the views off the balcony were breathtaking. We will be back.

Great place - a few minor issues but short of that an amazing stay.

This house was so fun for everyone in our family! The photos don't do it justice: rooms were spacious, cozy, and full of amenities. The views at all points of the day are incredible. Even when rain dampened our plans, we had plenty to do indoors. We regret that we didn't stay longer - so we will have to return and bring friends!

We had such a great stay here. The cabin was super clean, cozy, and the as very spacious even with our whole family there. The kids were obsessed with the slides and arcade games, and the adults loved the hot tub, mountain views, and all the deck space. The location was perfect, too. Close enough to Asheville to explore, but still felt peaceful and tucked away in the mountains. We spent a lot of time just hanging out at the cabin because there was honestly so much to do there already. You can tell a lot of thought went into making the space fun, comfortable, and family friendly. Check in was easy, communication was great, and everything matched the listing really well. We’d absolutely stay again.

We had a mini family reunion. Kids age 8 and 3 loved the bunk beds and the slides! Grown ups loved the pool table and hot tub! Kids cried when it was time to go. We will definitely be back!

When we pulled up we were impressed with the views! Then we entered the house and we were sold! The kids had a cool hideaway bedroom with ultimate bunk beds, complete with a slide! How fun! That’s not the only slide in the house though! They spent a good bit of time sliding down the twisty slide from the second level to the bottom level! The parents and in-laws enjoyed nights in the hot tub and sunset views to die for on the decks! My husband and his brother were taken back to their childhood with the video game selections too! I could hear who won from the top floor, they were so excited! My oldest enjoyed being schooled in pool and on occasion he even showed his dad and uncle he’s a quick study!Anything that came up along the way, was quickly handled! We hope to come back to stay at The Summit again soon!

This place is pristine, and the view is absolutely incredible being up on what felt like a true ridgeline provided amazing viewing experience throughout, but that morning coffee out on the top level deck was extremely memorable. That said the place itself was impeccable and you could tell that every last detail within the unit was curated for a specific purpose and that doesn’t go unnoticed. Awesome place to stay can’t wait to get in some hiking next time!

Beautiful clean fun house for everyone. very well-maintained. My family loved the games through the house. I kept him busy when we weren’t out doing things.

This was a great getaway for Christmas. The kitchen was well stocked. The game room was great for the kids to play and have their own space. The hosts had great communication. The view was so pretty from the decks. Overall a super enjoyable experience!

Elliott and Kylie's cabins in Mars Hill, NC are amazing! The view was lovely and the amenities were a lot of fun. We had a blast hanging out, playing air hockey and pool. We also enjoyed the hot tubs. Overall, would recommend for anyone looking for a mountain retreat. 10/10!

Absolute mountain OASIS! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to spend time as a family in the mountains of North Carolina. We didn’t know anything about the Mars Hill area, but the scenic beauty is enough just itself for a pleasant escape. We did zip lining, rafting, horseback trail riding, all nearby, and we were able to enjoy incredible meals just next door at the newly renovated Harley Pointe resort, open this summer for recreational stuff like live music, cornhole, etc. The atmosphere is like a chic boutique hotel, and the restaurant is just incredible. We also had the best time just taking in the views from the balconies at the house each day/ night, cooking, hot tubbing, or having movie nights by the fire, playing games, listening to music, etc. The beds are all comfy, bathrooms clean, and every question was answered so quickly and kindly. What a wonderful stay we had! FIVE STAR INDEED.

Great Mountain View retreat within 30 minutes of hikes and surrounding towns. Elliott and Kylie’s home was more than what we needed for a family of four and our small dog. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Breathtaking view, perfect for mountain getaway Our family had a fabulous time at this mountain retreat, enjoying the spectacular views, amazing card table, and fun video games. We appreciated the many "extras" this home included such as comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, televisions with live TV and Roku in the family room as well as the game room and multiple bedrooms, multiple fireplaces, and a very well stocked kitchen and laundry room with everything you could need and more. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and Elliott was an excellent host who responded right away whenever we had a question. This home was even more impressive in person than in the pictures, with four floors and multiple decks overlooking the mountains. It took about 40 minutes for us to get to Asheville, and that was perfect for us. We were looking for a spot to get away and relax as a family for a few days, and this home was perfect. We would love to go back again!

The house is beautiful. Unfortunately we had no wifi during our stay and the hot tub was 73 days overdue having its water changed. Elliott and Kylie were responsive and apologetic about these issues but were unable to resolve them. They said wifi was a larger region issue and that a hot tub tech would be out, but no one showed. I appreciated their responsiveness but ultimately it was disappointing to not have two key amenities which is why I rated the home 3 stars.

Beautiful cabin! They mentioned needing 4 wheel drive to reach it, and they were not kidding. Take tire chains if you don't have 4 wheel drive! The heat kept up with below freezing weather and there was plenty of hot water even with several teenage girls. The cabin is NOT ski in/ ski out. Maybe in the future once the new lifts open (winter 25/26), but for now you have to drive. That was our only complaint. Otherwise, the sunsets are incredible from the back porch and the beds were super cozy!

This is a nice, spacious property with great views and amenities. However it is not ski-in/ski-out as advertised. Even if the top lifts were running, which they are not and haven’t been all season according to conversations I had with the people at the resort, it would still not be “ski-in/ski-out”. So I was pretty disappointed with that.

Great stay, close to ski resort- about a 10 minute drive. Hot tub was well maintained, kids loved the slide. Great king size beds, bunk room is fun for kids.

This cabin was amazing, had everything it was supposed to and was in a great location for visiting Hatley Pointe. Will definitely stay here again next time we come up!

Great property for extended family stay! This is a beautiful, modern, well stocked and appointed cabin with fun things and great space for all ages. We had a two year old, a 6 year old boy, two teenagers, 4 parents and a grandpa and we all thoroughly enjoyed our thanksgiving here.

What a gem! Cozy cabin with everything you could need! Would absolutely consider returning anytime of year!

this was an awesome stay with my family. The house was beautiful and the levels made for the perfect amount of privacy. The kids love the slides and the games. The only downfall was the Internet was still out, but the host was very responsive and trying to fix that matter and we were able to use our hotspot for the time being I would definitely book again.

Beautiful place, a few minor details overlooked. Outlets non functional, lights that only operate on remote in dimly lit rooms, missing remotes. Overall, Beautiful place. Little to leave for desire or imagination.

By far the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! We felt spoiled by all the amenities. Elliot and Kylie thought of everything! The grands loved the slide and we all loved the video games. Kitchen was very well stocked with every item you could need. We didn’t want to leave!

We came here on our Fourth of July family trip. The cabin is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen, great mountain views, and about 35 minutes from downtown Asheville. It comfortably accommodated our group of 10. We loved everything about the cabin except for one thing: the last 3 days of our stay, we didn’t have reliable running water. We communicated with the hosts, who brought us water jugs and water bottles, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for us to shower, flush the toilets, do laundry, or wash the dishes. We were told the water supply was depleted and there was no estimated time for when the water was going to be back, which was very stressful for us. Water would come for a bit and then leave for the majority of the day. We booked this place because of its glowing reviews and luxurious amenities, so maybe it was just bad timing for us, but the water issue was unfortunately a downer, especially with such a big group of people. This house was AMAZING - gorgeous views, a beautiful sunset, and tremendously comfortable/spacious - exactly what we were looking for in a long-weekend getaway destination just 30 minutes from Asheville. The beds were comfortable, the decor was tasty, the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the location was breathtaking. Elliott and Kylie were super responsive to our questions, and were professional and personable throughout. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect getaway to celebrate our law school graduation. The hosts were very responsive, the house had so many great amenities, and the location was stunning.

It was lovely to walk into the house and have nearly everything we could possibly need. We barely needed to leave which was great. Super close to AT hiking. Views were spectacular, beds were so comfy, it was such a fun house. We taught our kids to play poker, the house had so much space!

Elliot’s quick communication allowed us to make our reservation seamlessly. The home was peaceful, filled with very very nice furniture & linens. Our kids loved the arcade, slide & pool table. The view is jaw dropping. This home is worth the reservation as it provides entertainment for the whole family that helps create memories.

Cabin in the Mountains My family and I had a great experience at the cabin. It is a beautiful home with every amenity you could think of. We will be staying here again!

This mountain cabin is nothing short of awesome! Looks exactly like the photos. The sunsets are amazing as the cabin is West facing so every evening we had incredible sunsets over the mountains. We are a family of 4 and brought our two dogs and it was the perfect family mountain getaway. The kids loved the slide, the arcade games and we loved the gas fire places, views and pretty immaculate cabin, and hot tub! Lots of room for us to spread out for quiet or come together for dinner and games. I highly recommend this little gem of a mountain retreat!
