The Rusty Cactus | Heated Salt Pool, Spa, & More! — Guest Reviews

Very nice house super clean amd comfortable pool was great for the kids .

We found this to be a wonderful house for our family and extended family to share. The kids enjoyed the pool, put put, and game room! The house was spacious enough, comfortable, and a relaxing space. It was close to multiple stores.

Beautiful home! Peaceful, entertaining, and a very responsive host. We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here!

Family came into town and needed a place to stay with a pool. This was a very family friendly house. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and kitchenware, paper towels, dish soap/pods, trash bags. This made preparing meals and clean up easy for everyone. One room had a full size bed, underneath trundle bed, and a top bunk bed which was lots of fun for all the kids to sleep together. There were lots of towels provided for showers and the pool. Laundry was accessible so we were able to clean towels in between use. The pool was clean and had some floaties for use, the pool umbrellas were easy to move around which provided lots of shade inside the pool. The TV already had YouTube set up for music and kid shows. Overall, it was a great stay! Thanks for having us!

The Rusty Cactus was awesome! All of the hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. What we also loved was the higher door knobs on all doors that accessed the pool area, such a nice touch for family safety. The house matched the description perfectly, it was decorated beautifully and the gameroom was awesome. The neighborhood was super quiet and peaceful and we had no night noises whatsoever to keep us awake. The salt water pool was gorgeous and we had a blast using it. Our 4 year old loved the whole house. It was also really nice to have extra items like step stools for her to be able to access the sink etc. We had no issues at all with check-in, communication during stay and check-out. Instructions were super easy to follow. Highly recommend this house! Thank you for the wonderful stay for our family while I was having surgery and recovering before we could travel home!

We had a great getaway at the Rusty Cactus! We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Great get away with many amenities - lots of activities for the whole family to keep busy; but also space for quiet time for everyone too if needed. Worked out great for our family to have a brief getaway. Thanks much!

We truly had a a great stay. The pool was one of the best ever, and the game room was a hit. Responses to questions were fast and friendly. We came to squeeze in some easy, fun family time before summer break ends, and mission was accomplished. Will definitely try to come back!

Great all around

This home was amazing. We had a wonderful time by the pool and enjoyed spending time with friends in the area for the holiday. Jeff and Bridget were so accommodating, and loved our stay!!

Fun for the entire family! From the hot tub and pool to the indoor and outdoor gaming areas, there was something for everyone to do and enjoy. The pool and hot tub were exceptionally clean and the outdoor lounging areas were the perfect spots to relax and hang out together no matter what time of day. The host was easy to connect and quick to respond. From checking in to checking out, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and would definitely love to stay here again!

We come to Arizona twice a year and have been for about the last 18 years. In doing so we have stayed everywhere in the Phoenix Valley multiple times and with that being said not only is this house perfect in every way, but this is by far the nicest, cleanest and friendliest neighborhood we ever stayed in. I went for walks in the morning and at night and never felt unsafe and met several nice people that live in the neighborhood, any shopping that you need is right around the corner and even better than that there are several mountains within a five minute drive that you can get to and hike for hours! My only hope is this house is available next time we come out there!!!

Just got home from the house, and we had an absolute blast! The house was very clean, well appointed, and spacious. Plenty of space for the 8 of us. The backyard and game room were used practically the whole weekend. And the pool and hot tub were perfect! Both were larger than expected. Fantastic! I would highly recommend this house, and would definitely come back!

Amazing centrally located home with so many amenities. The pool and back yard are an oasis! The home is spacious and very comfortable.

This home was amazing! It made us feel right at home. The beds were comfy and the ac was great. The pool and spa were a great thing to have too! Mini golf and game area inside the house was a great touch. The whole house was clean .

This house was exactly it looks on the listing! It also has a ton of kitchen stuff! We had no problem cooking Easter dinner for family! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, fully stocked house to vacay or staycay in!

We had a great two-night stay at this Airbnb. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and it had everything we needed for a short trip. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, it was a pleasant and stress-free experience—would definitely stay here again!

Yes

Quiet, safe, and absolutely fantastic. We will absolutely be back next year.

We went on vacation with my parents and my family. We traveled with 2 littles and this place was super family friendly! They had a pack n play available and a high chair. The doors to the pool were childproof (2 knobs, one of which was out of their reach). That definitely puts your mind at ease. The property was perfect. We went swimming and used the hot tub almost every day. The neighborhood is so nice to walk around as well. I would highly recommend. We would definitely stay again! Thanks!

Took our grandkids for a week and had a great time. Kids loved the indoor gaming area and pool area toys. Lots for kids to do…ours are 12 and 9. Plenty of parks and recreation in the area.

Wonderful spot! Beautiful home and the hosts were very accommodating!

The Rusty Cactus was a great place to stay, It has a fun environment and is in a great location.

Jeff and Bridget’s place was very nice and exactly as described. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, and the bedding was fresh, clean, and very comfortable. The neighborhood was amazing—quiet, peaceful, and felt extremely safe. Jeff and Bridget were very responsive to any questions we had, and everything about the stay was seamless. We would absolutely stay here again.

Left an item in the house and they were easy to work with. Something happened with plumbing and they were quick to respond about the issue. Overall great stay.

Great location, lovely home, no complaints.

Great stay! Enjoyed the time at this location.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was great, very clean and the game room was awesome. The backyard was incredible, with a pool and hot tub that got plenty of use. We would definitely recommend staying here to others.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jeff and Bridget’s property. It was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and the thoughtful amenities added a wonderful touch. If we’re ever in Phoenix again, we will definitely return to this property!

The home and back yard are beautiful. The only issue we had was with the pool and spa heater. Hosts were very responsive and understanding. Issue quickly resolved. Game room, pool and spa was very entertaining. Wonderful place to stay. Definitely would return.

We had a great time in Phoenix! The Airbnb hosts were so great to work with and the accommodations were lovely. Will definitely stay at this location again!

Nos encanto a toda mi familia!

Wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Check-in was smooth, and jeff was very responsive and helpful throughout our trip. Great location, close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

The accommodation was perfect for our group while in town on business. The location was convenient, and the facilities were exactly as described, clean, tidy, and well-presented, just like the pictures. We had a slight issue with the air conditioning upon arrival, likely due to our late check-in, but it didn’t impact our overall experience. We’d happily book again next time we’re in town. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place fun for the whole family! My bf is in a wheelchair and it was so awesome that he could navigate around and the pool had rails on the side. Fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Fun house we loved it.

“The house was very clean and pleasant, with clear and simple instructions. We really liked it.”

The house was a great spot for us to spend 7 days. The pool is awesome and the property has all the amenities you need for a great stay. Moon Valley is a great location. We would definitely come back and would highly recommend it to others.

Great place for a quick family trip to AZ. Lots to do at the house - just as described.

Definitely a comfortable spot to enjoy some time with family would love to stay again

Jeff and Bridget were wonderful hosts and the space they’ve created was wonderful for entertaining adults and children!

An absolutely awesome experience! Thank you, Jeff and Bridget for sharing the Rusty cactus with us. The house is in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood. Check in was super brilliant with a pre-programmed door lock code given on the day of arrival. Presentation of the house is amazing! It Felt like walking into your own home. Very cozy. Happy to see that they even had pool towels rolled up in the laundry room. All the little details like having coffee pods, sugar, some detergent et cetera really made settling in easy. Any questions or concerns we had were immediately replied to via the app and they were super proactive making sure we had everything just the way we were hoping. We were there for a volleyball tournament for our daughter and hosted a small award ceremony at the house. Everyone raved about how cool the place was! The plethora of games really made the place fun for a family. First time using an Airbnb and I hope all of our experiences can be as good as this one!

Loved the house. It was just as pictured and perfect for a family getaway. The neighborhood is very quiet and in a nice part of town.

The house is spacious and beautiful.

We loved every second of our stay. The house is very clean and well taken care of. My daughter pretty much lived in the pool the entire time. I’d highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an Airbnb in PHX. We will be back. Thank you for being so accommodating and your quick communication.

very cozy and comfortable home! My family and I had a lot of fun. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location for boys golf trip! Playing in 3-day golf tournament at Moon Valley CC. Location was 1 minute away. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Simple check in with digital lock. House was extremely clean with 4 guest bedrooms (for the 4 of us). Beds, sheets, pillows, towels were all great quality. Backyard pool, hot tub, and patio were very nice and used often after long days of golf. While we were originally hoping for a house that backed up to the golf course, this ended up being perfect for our stay and did not disappoint. Perhaps we will book it again for the tournament next year!

The Rusty Cactus was incredible. The host is super responsive, and professional. The house itself is spacious, well laid out, and exactly as described. The backyard is a paradise. Finally, the location is awesome. It was an easy drive to Sedona/Flagstaff, and is centrally located in the valley for easy travel anywhere in the Phoenix area. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a great place to stay. Well appointed and plenty of games to play to keep everyone busy. Pool and hot tub seem to be brand new. Moon Valley is a great area and close to shopping and great dining. We would stay here again.

Great way to spend time with friends. House has everything anyone could ever want.

The house was great and well stocked with everything we would need during our stay. The kids LOVED the pool, game room, putting green, and ping-pong table. Jeff and Bridget were super responsive with any questions we had during our stay and would respond within a few minutes. Definitely a family friendly place to stay!

We had a great stay. Our kids loved the pool and all the games both inside and outside, plenty to keep them busy. Hot tub was a great spot to unwind, and catching some sports on the outdoor tv was a big plus! The place was very clean and cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Great location with lots of hikes nearby. Would recommend! Thanks!

Pool and hot tub were awesome and warm. Comfortable place and good for kids.

We found this property and it’s very responsive and accommodating owners to be at the top of the class. Pristine condition. Furniture and bedding were outstanding. Kitchen appliances and utensils seemed like new. Indoor and outdoor games and well kept pool and spa were very entertaining for both adults and children. Well earned and deserved 5.0 rating. Would highly recommend to others. Would stay here again and at any other property listed by these well accomplished owners
