We had a great stay overall, and the main cabin was great/as expected from pictures. We also booked the adjacent cottage to accommodate our group. However, we did want to flag that there were quite a few cobwebs inside the smaller cottage, and one of our guests even had a spider fall on them from the ceiling. We completely understand that it’s in the middle of nature, but we were a bit surprised the cleaners hadn’t caught it! Just sharing in hopes it helps the host with upkeep.

Cozy getaway It was a great spot for me and my friends as we grew up always going to the Delaware river to fish. With the river right in your backyard it makes for easy access and all day fishing and swimming! Property was clean and cozy!

Cosy cabin for a thanksgiving stay I booked the 2 cabins at this property for a group for a thanksgiving stay. The team at Red Cottage were so helpful and diligent, taking care to check-in during our stay and replying over what I imagine was a very busy thanksgiving time. The cabins themselves are just as pictured. It’s very cosy in the main house especially once the fires on. The 2nd cabin takes time to warm up and needs consistent fires to keep it warm. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are plenty of chairs around the property you can bring in to accommodate a full house. Overall we really enjoyed the stay, it was a perfect place for a group of friends!

Perfect for a relaxing getaway with a big group! Between the cabin and the cottage there was plenty of space to comfortably accommodate our group of 10. Both properties were wonderfully decorated and cozy with all the essentials. We loved spending the afternoons fishing by the river and grilling on the deck then spending the evening by the fire pit. The hosts were super friendly and easy to communicate with. Even when I asked last minute before check in if they had a crock pot they were quick to answer.

Place was exactly as described in the listing. House was clean and neat upon arrival and stocked with all stated items. Location is located right on the water which makes for a great spot to have coffee on the deck. Would stay again.

We had a brilliant stay. The property had everything we needed. The grill worked perfectly and we loved using the grassy area to play wiffleball. The host was very communicative and gave us clear instructions for everything. I would highly recommend this property.

While the location and interior decor were positive aspects, we encountered significant cleanliness issues that made the house unsuitable for rent. Despite the management company's responsiveness to our complaints, our holiday was unfortunately impacted. Unfortunately, some of our guests were uncomfortable and chose not to stay even for a single night. As a result of house condition, we also had to cut our reservation short, leaving after just one night despite originally booking for three days. We strongly recommend a thorough cleaning of the property, and it seems pest control measures are necessary. Addressing these issues would greatly enhance the overall experience for future guests.

Great location, cottage provided anything you might need.

Had a great stay. Great view of the of the Delaware River with nicely decorated cabin. Would highly recommend.
