We had a great stay at the McCaul. The unit was large enough for our family of 5. It was in a great location - perfect for our visit to the University of Toronto. We were able to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio and loved all the great restaurants nearby! The host was very friendly and responsive and we felt taken care of our whole visit. Would definitely come back!

We recently stayed at this Airbnb during our family’s first trip to Toronto and had a great experience. The space was exactly as pictured—clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. The beds were comfortable, and the layout suited our needs perfectly. As a family, we especially appreciated the open living area. Between the dining table and the cozy couch, we had more than enough room to relax together after a full day of exploring. The location was central and made it easy to get around the city. The hosts provided detailed and helpful parking information, which made our arrival and daily outings stress-free. This place was accommodating for my family of 5- my girls could have the twin beds and my son his own room plus the master. There was more noise than expected (just louder traffic and people out late at night- nothing the hosts can do about that). Sound machines helped my kids sleep. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It’s pretty centrally located to several tourist attractions (ROM, Yorkville, CN Tower) and close to Chinatown and lots of good eats very walkable. We were also greeted with a bottle of local wine when we arrived. Overall, if back in Toronto, I would stay here again.
What a gem! My family of 5 plus my mother-in-law enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Nat and Pete's place. The place was spotless and tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. We only stayed one-night so opted to enjoy dinner out at the open-air pub on the corner - food was delicious! Communication was professional and prompt; they were proactive about possible construction noise (we had to check out early, so it did not bother us at all). We were also thankful for the welcome gifts they left for us. Would highly recommend and look forward to booking again next time we stay in Toronto!

Check-in was a breeze. Space was clean on arrival. Rooms were spacious and up to code.Host was responsive to messaging and ensured we were taken care of.Location is ideal for foodies or for exploring downtown.Beds were comfortable. Couch maybe not so suitable for sleeping on, but few couches are.
They obviously care about the people that they are hosting. Very responsive. Perfect location to where ever you want to go. I’m from NY so 12 minute walk is easy and way better than waiting in traffic. Kensington market is couple of blocks away. Good if you want to try different foods or you can walk down town. I’ll be back again
This place was in the perfect part of Toronto! Easy access to the subway and very walkable. Fantastic restaurants around. The apartment was just like it was described, incredibly clean. Nat, Pete & Shameza were very helpful and responsive. Would definitely book again!
We feel extremely grateful to have found this beautiful Airbnb in downtown Toronto! My family came from overseas to attend our wedding, and they couldn’t be happier with our choice. Private, close to the AGO and U of T, with a spectacular view directly facing the CN Tower, and a spotless, shining space! We don’t think there’s a better place to stay in the heart of Toronto. Nat, Pete, and Shameza were very proactive with their instructions, so we never even had to bother them with any questions. They are truly among the best hosts we’ve met on Airbnb! I stayed here with three other guests and we had a wonderful time. The location is great with cute little shops and restaurants just around the corner and even more stuff to experience within 10-20 mins walking. There are currently renovations being done to the building and we did have a bit of an issue with construction noise on our first morning at the Airbnb but our host was super communicative and handled everything very professionally. Overall this was great for a weekend in Toronto.
Had a wonderful time at Nat and Pete's place while in town for WWE! Easily walkable to downtown, Kensington, and University areas. The team communicated well, and the place was well kitted out for our party of 5!
We loved our stay at Casa McCaul. The apartment is huge and fits at least 5 people very comfortably. It was well suited for our multi-generational family and would also fit a friend group traveling together. It was very clean and surprisingly quiet even though it's literally downtown. Lots of room for us to spread out, have restful sleep and, if we wanted to, could cook in the fully stocked kitchen. The location speaks for itself and the rate was an exceptional value (I doubt it'll ever be at that rate again!). But what really made our stay special is Shameza. Wow. What a host! The communication was nearly instantaneous and spot on. We asked for early check in and it was granted, then asked for late checkout and it was granted. The internet went down and within an hour, Shameza dispatched maintenance to get it repaired and maintained contact throughout. It's the first time I experience this level of engagement and care with Airbnb. Thank you, Shameza. <3
Great place for our intergenerational family of 7. Walking distance to amenities and lots of attractions! The suite was very well equipped and quality was not sacrificed! Communication was almost instantaneous and so helpful! Thank you for a great stay in Toronto!
My girlfriends and I stayed at Casa Hotel McCaul for 1 night to celebrate a birthday. We are 5 and we had plenty of room to spread out and make ourselves at home! Shameza was an absolute gem, communicating proactively and accommodating our request to drop our bags hours before check in. We had an easy walk to the Royal Alex for a matinee and then walked home from Little Italy after dinner -- the location was awesome. The bedrooms were surprisingly spacious, as were both washrooms (full washrooms). We stayed up until after midnight at the large dining table, playing cards and streaming our favourite tunes on the TV. I would highly recommend Casa Hotel McCaul; and I can't say enough good things about our hosts. Kind, considerate and accommodating.

Beautiful apartment - better than we had hoped for! Booked this for 4 of us to celebrate a special birthday and the week was unforgettable. Location great - short Uber to all of the city, facilities outstanding and the special touches from Shameza made it all extra special. Appartement petit mais très confortable, excellent service client Positive: L'appartement était idéalement situé en plein quartier universitaire, plein de restaurants et bars super sympathiques aux alentours. Le balcon extérieur était partagé par tous les invités, mais il était fort bien aménagé et assez chaleureux malgré une situation très urbaine. Nous avons eu un problème de bruit de constructions au rez-de-chaussée à notre premier matin. Ma femme a des problème de santé et doit dormir tard. Nous avons immédiatement appelé la personne responsable qui nous avait été assignée. Le lendemain, il n'y avait plus de bruit, les ouvriers ont travaillé sans nous déranger. Extraordinaire ! Le lendemain, comble de malchance, nous avons eu des soucis avec la climatisation qui est tombée en panne en pleine canicule. Encore un appel, ils sont venus résoudre le problème le jour même, en soirée l'appartement était à nouveau confortable niveau température. Un excellent service à la clientèle, il nous a semblé évident que l'équipe se soucie vraiment de ses invités... Negative: Pas de stationnement dédié, il faut débourser pour garer la voiture dans des stationnements payants. Il y a tout de même beaucoup d'options pour cela aux alentours. Lors de notre passage, le rez-de-chaussée était en chantier, l’entrée n'était pas du tout invitante et même un peu inquiétante. La façade n'était pas finie et donnait une impression brouillonne désagréable à voir. Les appartements du deuxième et troisième étage étaient finis et bien rénovés mais l'escalier y menant était poussiéreux et encore partiellement en construction (au rez-de-chaussée toujours). Notre appartement était quand même petit malgré un aménagement efficace. Nous cuisinons beaucoup, l'espace cuisine était très très étroit, un micro comptoir pour préparer la nourriture... Malgré cela, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour faire un repas...
A great place to stay in Toronto. It's close to a lot of great restaurants and shops and just a short walk to the subway. We had some trouble with the Wi-Fi not working but we were able to use the Wi-Fi from a shop next door. The only caution I would give is if you have mobility issues, it is a steep fleet of stairs to the unit. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location the host was very accommodating. This place is close to a lot of different things so it’s easy to get there by walking around. Wel recommend this place for anyone visiting Toronto.

Incredible location. Friendly hosts. Challenging stay due to the condition of the home. The home is in a multi-unit building, and the walls are paper thin. We were woken up after midnight multiple times due to footsteps of other guests above us and on the stairs. This wasn’t a party - it was simply people packing and then heading to the airport for early flights. The bedframe in the master bedroom made loud, creaking sounds on even the slightest movement. We reported this issue and the owner did offer to investigate, but we were already out of the home at the time and didn’t take them up on it. The shower head in the main bathroom is mounted high and cannot be tilted lower, aimed mostly over my head. I’m 6 ft tall. The thermostat in the home is located inside a bedroom that also contains a fire exit door. We had to sleep with all bedroom doors open to maintain a consistent temp throughout the home.

We had a wonderful experience. The place was clean, and the move-in process was smooth. Given the price, if they could organize a few parking spaces for guests, the experience would have been even better.

They had many amenities: Kitchen is fully stocked Dishwasher with soap Coffee maker Snacks & bottles of water provided Large fridge with brita filter Central air (heat) Back patio Nice towels & extra sheets, blankets, & pillows Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel Hair dryers & iron Washer and dryer with soap TVs in 2 bedrooms plus living room w/ a Netflix account Coat hooks and shoe racks Keyless entry so we didn’t have to share a key Closet space and hangers They also provided sleep masks and ear plugs - which I ended up using. Rooms can be a bit bright. It isn’t the most quiet building in the mornings and we had some street noise, and fire alarm testing. And no water for an hour one morning, but the hosts were in constant communication and solved our issues. Very walkable location and lots of restaurants and even a Krispy Kreme and Jimmy’s Coffee next door. Overall, it was a safe and warm place to stay for the week, we just didn’t get to sleep in as much as we wanted.
Negative: The photos are not reflective of the actual appartment. There is a light, exit security that never goes off. Too noisy and customer service very bad for the spot. It is very very small.
Great location - easily walkable to lots of great restaurants and attractions. The only downside was the noise—it was very loud at night and none of us got a very good night’s sleep.

Everything was great super clean awesome location, however just an fyi the walls are thin and there is a bright fire exit light in one of the rooms. Also the bottom floor/property entrance was undergoing building works so we had construction noise early Monday morning. All tolerable things overall, still a great stay

The property was as described, clean, light and welcoming. We were very pleased with the accommodation itself. Easy to access with self check-in. It was stocked with everything you need for catering. Host supplied more coffee pods when asked and communicating was timely. Location wise, the property was within walking distance to main attractions such as CN Tower, Aquarium and local shopping centre. Restaurants and cafes near by with easy routes.
We appreciated several thoughtful touches from host including a bottle of wine waiting upon arrival. Communication was excellent-our concerns were addressed promptly and when we asked for additional coffee pods they were provided right away. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished and is located in a decent area. However there were a few drawbacks worth noting. While the listing did disclose construction we were only informed the day of our arrival that the work would begin earlier than expected. Unfortunately construction noise began around 6:30 a.m. on three mornings of our stay and the vibrations were strong enough to shake the apartment. Other guests staying in the property did not respect the quiet hours and were socializing loudly on the shared patio well past midnight. The host did intervene after we reached out and the situation improved. Security could be enhanced-there was no deadbolt on the back door adjacent to shared patio, front door to building did not stay shut.
When you arrive at their place, you can immediately tell whether it’s well taken care of and Nat & Pete’s place definitely is. It’s one of those great spots that’s clean, well-organized, and clearly shows the effort they’ve put into it. The location is amazing. Every time you head there, you can see a view of the CN Tower. Each room has a TV, and the kitchen is fully stocked with spices, plenty of dishes, and utensils. There are enough pots and pans, though they’re more like camping-style cookware (they come with pot clips instead of regular handles.) There was a minor issue during our stay, but they handled it really well. Things can happen whether you're a guest or a host, but how the issue is handled makes all the difference. In that sense, I’d say they’re excellent hosts—responsive, communicative, and proactive rather than avoidant. We would love to stay at Nat&Pete’s place again!

We were extremely impressed by our stay! We were welcomed with a gift basket of tons of snacks and a bottle of wine. They provided everything that we needed such as shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Along with this, the location was incredible and close to everything we wanted to do! We would definitely stay here again.

This place is amazing - fantastic “concierge like” support through Shameza, well decorated spot, squeaky clean bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms. The best part was the comfortable beds. This was exactly what we were looking for. The building does have stairs that may make it difficult for someone with mobility issues but that wasn’t a problem for us. They also had some construction going on while we were there (during the day) but Shameza gave us the heads up and we barely heard anything. Just fantastic communication that made you feel well supported the whole time. We would go back in a heartbeat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very comfortable apartment in a centrally located neighborhood. Hosts were very helpful, friendly, and responsive. Cute, historic looking building, and within a 10-15 minute walk of lots of great neighborhoods and food, like Kensington market, etc. There's also a great coffee shop on the same block (Jimmy's) and a cute, English style pub (Sin & Redemption) with a great beer selection and decent food. A great spot!
