This is a wonderful house in a quite area. Short walk to beach! Everything we needed was there. Would 100% recommend renting here.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a large family reunion in Morgantown with every family renting their own house. There was easy access to the beach. The only suggestion would be for some towel racks in the master bath to hang up bath towels.

We had a great vacation, and the house was great, except for an HVAC issue. The problem was that there is a sign above the thermostat that says not to turn the temperature down below 72 degrees because the unit will freeze, and then you could be responsible for repairs. However, with all of the windows in the house, the temperature got to 80 degrees daily. We were unable to open the blinds for fear that it would get even hotter. There were box fans in every bedroom that had to be used to be able to sleep. So, if you like a cool house during vacation, you might want to consider something different.

Tally Ho fit our family of four perfectly. Great location and great layout. Morgantown is an excellent community. Easy/close access to the beach. Would highly suggest adding a second A/C unit as it struggled mightily during the day to stay under 80 inside. We noticed most of the neighboring homes had two outside A/C units. Also, some curtains or window coverings would likely go a long ways, especially in the upstairs rooms. We rented a golf cart for the week, which was great, however we struggled getting any of the outdoor electrical outlets to work when trying to charge the golf cart and ended up having to run a cord thru the front door to an inside outlet. Overall, great home, great community, and would likely book here again.

The location was fabulous and so close to the beach. The house was not super clean. The bathrooms and blinds and windows and stairs coming in to the house were not clean. It was a comfortable house and very convenient. I was also pleasantly surprised that Walmart would deliver to this location.

Specifically chose a house away from the crowds and chaos of Gulf Shores proper for Spring Break. Sooooo glad we picked Talley Ho! Perfectly situated just steps away from the beach and within walking distance to tennis/pickleball courts and a pool. The house was well appointed and provided plenty of room for our party of 6 to spread out. The wrap around porch and balcony were the favorites! Can’t wait to go back!

This place was so clean and so relaxing. It was decorated lovely. We enjoyed it so much. The property manager was amazing and so helpful. The location was so pretty and right by the beach!

Our third stay at Talley Ho! The house is great. Good view from upper back deck. Plenty of room to spread out. Close to beach access and tennis courts. Linda, our manager, was great and helpful with anything we needed. The only suggestion: master bath shower tiles were suffering from some mildew build up- Otherwise, no complaints- Would stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tally Ho. We loved the easy access to the beach, we enjoyed each having our own bathrooms and we enjoyed the pool. I thought the house was very nice and clean. With two five year olds, it didn't stay that way for long but we loved it.

It was so nice not to have to wait in line for a hot, packed elevator! Tally Ho provided plenty of room for our 6 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 baby. With close proximity to the beach, we were able to walk down each morning and set up our beach gear then walk back and forth as needed. The house was so nice! Best family vaca with both my adult kids and their families! We would definitely come back to Tally Ho!

We had an amazing experience at the Talley Ho! The house is spacious, clean, up to date, and in a great location. It was perfect for our family and we will definitely stay here again!

My family and I loved everything about the Home. There was plenty of space for everyone. I have a family of 5 that stayed there plus my mother in law and my daughter's friend. 7 people total and everyone had plenty of space. The Home was beautiful and perfect location for a beach vacation. Short walk to the beach and a short drive to stores nearby. I'd definitely consider this Home again on another GulfShores vacation. Property Management was awesome, quick to answer any questions. Very friendly, even came and met us the 1st morning. One of the best Management I've dealt with.

Talley Ho has everything you'd want in a beach house. Great location in an attractive neighborhood of Morgantown. The beach sand is soft, not hard-packed. We stayed the month of February, so we still needed some winter clothes. Enjoyed golf at Peninsula and Gulf Links. Be sure to visit the charming town of Fair Hope on Mobile Bay. Our favorite breakfast restaurant in Gulf Shores is 'The Ugly Diner.' Royal Red Shrimp and Fried Crab Claws are a special treat!

Home was exactly as described and even better than the pictures. Great location with just a short walk to the boardwalk. Clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Look forward to returning.

We went for our 20th year anniversary. The home was beautiful. Beach access wasn’t very far. Great location it was our first time staying in Morgantown and won’t be our last. We had an awesome time.

The house was nice and cozy. I would rent again we had a good time. good location easy to get to the beach and pool.

Our stay at Talley Ho was great!Very clean and airy.The walk to the beach is so, so easy and fast, like 5 minutes, maybe even less. Every morning I would load up our car with our beach set up and grab a nice spot, there is limited parking right there. Take the car back to the house for the day (to free up spots for those who really needed them), and then we'd bring back the car in the evening to load it all back up, easy peasy. One day we took our car on the ferry to Dauphin Island, so quaint! Just look up the ferry times online, and be aware the last two ferry's can fill up early so give yourself time to get back, or you'll have an almost 3hr drive back. We saw dolphins everyday we were at the beach and on the ferry! This was such a lovely trip in a beautiful beach house with a great location away from the Gulf Shores crowds. Highly recommend!!!! P.S. Cheri was so welcoming and gave us great tips for restaurants and places to go!

The house and location were amazing. Our family of six had the best time. Easy access to the beach. Great upper porch for enjoying the ocean breeze. Our rental manager was so attentive and sweet. It was the perfect vacation with so many memories made! We will definitely be back!

This house was in a great location and was super homey. Plenty of space and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was open and roomy for cooking nice fish dinner.

We have stayed in a bunch of rental properties in the Gulf and this one was one of the best! The house layout was perfect and super close, very short walk to the beach. The beds were very comfortable especially the master king bed which makes a big difference in a rental house! My kids fished everyday right off the beach and caught so many different kinds of fish! My only recommendation is to go through the kitchen at the end of the busy season and replace what needs to be replaced as there were no potholders for example. For the most part the kitchen was stocked nicely. I would definitely rent this house again!

This house was perfect! I know the pictures look like it could be far from the beach, but really it was close proximity to several beach access boardwalks. The views were great! The house was clean, the mattresses were extremely comfortable, the children had their own bathroom, the neighborhood was quiet, and the neighbors were friendly. The only thing I wish it had was a golf cart! LOL!!

Peaceful Palace

This was our 2nd Summer @ Talley Ho. It is perfect for our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children, ages 5 and 2). Beach access is very close and the 2 pools are great. This will be our “Go to” spot.

The place is nice and clean. The directions was perfect and I will come stay again. Definitely recommend

Overall a great trip with the family.I would rent this house again .The beach was clean and the grandkids loved it .The pools were good and not that far away.

The property was wonderful and we had a great stay. The weather was great and we enjoyed every moment. The property is close to the beach access with a little walking involved. We found it was easier to drive and unload all items for the beach since there was a golf cart on site but not accessible. Overall it was a wonderful trip!

We have stayed at Talley Ho for two two years in a row, and before we left, we rebooked for next year. This home is so comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is stocked with all of the Items you could possibly need to cook for your family. The beds are comfortable and the decks are perfect for visiting or reading a good book. The location is perfect for a short 15 minute drive to all of the restaurant choices in Gulf Shores / Orange Beach. We are already looking forward to our visit next year!
