Great location and a beautiful home with wonderful amenities. I would have liked a little more flexibility with checkin (4pm) and check out (10am) times.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! It was a great place to relax, enjoy the beach, and spend time together. We really enjoyed our stay and made some great memories. Thank you for having us, and we would definitely recommend this place to others!

Overall the value was good for what we paid. Kitchen is pretty small for being able to accommodate 6 guests. Bedrooms are extremely tight, no room for luggage and no closets for hanging clothes. Primary bath water pressure was very low. Comfortable living room wi the large couch to fit everyone. View isn’t great as it’s mostly other houses and a large condo blocking the ocean view.

The space was great felt new fresh and clean! The pool was perfect size for our 3 small children. It was walkable distance from the beach!

This is our 2nd time staying at this Sunrise Beach location. We absolutely love it, but don't want to rave too much as we want the prices to stabilize (staying at Port A is getting up there!!) It has everything we need, with the ability to chill at our own private pool as a game changer for our family of four. At night we enjoyed super fast internet with each TV giving us all of our favorite steaming content. Next time I hope to remember that the coffee maker is a Keurig, which we loved, but need to bring a reusable brew filter (like $8, but would allow us to bring our own ground coffee!!) This place is amazing and our favorite stay at Port A to date.

The property was perfect with the kitchen fully equipped with whatever you need. The quiet hours are enforced as a party was going on in the community with loud music. At 10:15 someone came by to make them turn it down and no issues after that. Everything was as described and we had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and fit 7 adults very comfortably. A few hiccups throughout the stay but the host definitely communicated well and took care of our needs. Would most definitely stay again!

Perfect get away for a small group! The Internet went out for the whole day during one of our stays, and the pool was too hot to swim in, but everything else was awesome. Perfect walk to the beach.

This place is alot small than it looks in the pictures. Dirty clothes from previous guest were in the hamper. The most disappointing part was there was no soap in soap dispensers in kitchen & bathrooms. Only 1 roll of the cheapest paper towels you could possibly imagine. Very few bath towels... definitely bring your own. Super skimpy on supplies. We were told we could check in 2 hours early (at 2) which was nice but they didn't send us the code to get in until 2:30ish so we had to stand outside & wait & the door was tricky to open with no instructions. No closets, no place the hang towels. No hooks on walls or behind doors, no place to set your clothes except back of toilet. Mostly welcome binders first sentence was "We have inspected the property prior to your arrival, counted the # of towels, etc.". no welcome no we hope you enjoy your stay... the tone was very much hey we counted things so don't be taking anything... nobody would want to take the old cheap scruffy towels.

The property was perfect for our family, pool, proximity to the beach and town. We had a great time. Would recommend this house to anyone and hope to return again in the future. Thank you!!

This was a very beautiful stay not to far from the beach will definitely be booking again !

Our stay was great and easy. The rental was clean, comfortable, had enough room for our family of 6, and was in a great location- easy to walk or take a golf cart to the beach. The beds were comfortable and having a TV in each room was nice for our family of mixed ages. The pool and outdoor space is nice and our family enjoyed playing on the volleyball net in the turf area, A few things to note- if you are traveling with more than 2 or 3 people, I would recommend bringing a few extra items like dish pods, laundry soap, toilet paper and paper towels. The property had some but with our family of 6, we needed more so we grabbed it at the Dollar General store in town. If you plan to use the grill, make sure it has propane or that you plan to get some. It is an easy drive to grab anything you need at Dollar General/The Texan/CVS so you can always grab whatever you need. We were also able to do an Instacart order for groceries and even an Uber Eats delivery order for wine & ice cream :)

Almost perfect. The pool was not operating and the water was dirty. It was a focal point for our stay so we were disappointed. The towels are one per guest which I thought was less than generous. Everything else was perfect. Great location close to beach. Away from town but close enough to be convenient for dinner. If the pool is operating I would recommend this property.

Relaxing and great location. Very clean and great access to the beach. Beautiful views and you can hear the ocean from the porches. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again.

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary and had the best time with the prettiest weather! The home was beautiful, peaceful and right by the beach! We absolutely LOVED having our own pool to hang out in when we didn’t want to have a beach day! It’s located 10 minutes from all the action “downtown” in Port A and a 30 minute drive to downtown Corpus Christi! We brought our golf cart and there was plenty of room to park the trailer. The only small negatives we had were there weren’t any closets to hang up dress clothes/store luggage. However, it was just the two of us so we used one of the extra bedrooms to store our clothes/luggage! We will definitely stay again for future Port A trips!

We had a wonderful stay — the house was very clean and just a short, easy walk to the beach. The pool was a huge plus for the kids, and we really appreciated having that option. Sand Key Vacation Rentals was very responsive and quick to address any questions or concerns we had. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

We enjoyed staying here so much, we even thought about calling in to work to stay one more night 😂

Nice place with a big open kitchen, the private pool was nice and relaxing. For a three night stay the price was very fair.

Nice place and as described. We had some ants in the kitchen at one point that was resolved and the pool was pretty green with quite a bit of dirt in it. Hopefully for future guests we are just a one off. But overall it was a good time and experience

This house was beautiful! Exactly like it was pictured and advertised. Neighbors and area was quiet. Communication was great. Walk to the beach was easy, beach was also beautiful and not packed with people. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Perfect vacation.

Unfortunately we had to write a bad review for this property due to mold being found, inconsistent and slow communication with the property management company, a dirty pool, and trouble checking in. They had no toilet paper upon arrival, hardly any cleaning supplies, and it appears much smaller in person than in the photos. This is the first bad review I’ve had to write for an AirBnB and hope they fix these issues for other guests in the future. Although the company tried to resolve issues with the door, and they did bring us toilet paper shortly after we told them, it was one thing after another that made this stay unforgettable…and not for the right reasons. The property is at a nice location, but comes with no beach supplies, so you have to bring absolutely everything, including towels for your bathroom (there truly aren’t enough for a group of people). We will not stay here or at a SandKey property again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. Host was very nice and responded quickly to all my questions. The location was great, in walking distance to the beach and everything else was just a 9 minute drive to great restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed the private pool and the beautiful view of the pond was so peaceful and relaxing.

Rented for second straight year which speaks to the overall experience.

Family and Friends Getaway We had a great time at this house! It was nicely decorated, plenty of space for three couples. We enjoyed the pool and loved that it was close enough to walk or drive the golf cart to the beach. Would definitely book again!

On the Pond was a fabulous stay, really made our Port Aransas stay complete: chill beach comfort! Positive: I mean...this property had everything we needed! The star of the show is the little private dipping pool in the back. Chill vibe. Outdoor shower and bathroom, totally rocked. Very refreshing and it felt private even though we were between 2 other units each with their own pools. Loved each room's Roku TV setup. Loved the kitchen, loved the decor. My only reservation of giving this review is that it will attract competing families!! Hopefully management will give us our reservation for next year (in work). Negative: I cannot complain....that would be silly. I can request: A few more pods and rolls: basically I think the supply is perfect for 3 nights, but we stayed for 5.

We came for my friend's bachelorette and it was so perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone and the private pool was the highlight of the place. It had a boardwalk from the property straight to the beach. We had a great time, I'd definitely recommend it!

The place was very clean inside and the beds were clean and comfortable. The living space was clean. The walk to the beach isn’t bad but would definitely be more accessible with a golf cart! The pool was fun but dirty. Lots of sand and debris, spiders and other creatures. We even pulled a crab out of it one day.

We had a great time at this perfect condo that had everything we needed to feel right at at home. Our grandson traveled with us and he really enjoyed the room with bunkbeds. The place was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and was fully stocked. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor games. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Our family of 5 fit perfectly. Plenty of space, lots of nice touches, making it feel homey. Beach was a 5 minute walk away. Beds were comfy, pool was refreshing, having a washer/dryer is a plus. We would definitely stay here again. It is literally a perfect beach house getaway.

We had a great stay this place. Basically brand new, spotlessly clean, cutely decorated. The weather was pretty chilly during our stay so we didn't get to use the pool or volleyball net but it looked great. However, the inside was super comfortable and cozy so we enjoyed hanging out in the evenings

We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. It is off season and not crowded at all. My favorite part was the access to the beach with a short walk. This made our stay perfect.

The house was clean and as described, with a short walk to the beach, but we faced issues with property management and their communication: 1.Heated Pool: I was told there was a heated pool and it was available. After booking, I learned the heater was only functional in Nov. and Dec., then was told it would be $500 if turned on. The host should be consistent. 2. Beach Tar: We were warned about beach tar and a $500 cleaning fee if found inside 3. Dirty Pool: The pool was dirty with no net to clean it 4. Nails in Pool: We found four 2-inch nails in the pool, and the host only responded with a thanks for letting us know and no follow-up 5. Kitchen Supplies: The kitchen was minimally stocked; I had to buy a blender 6. Uncomfortable Beds: The beds were so firm my husband and I slept on the couch 7. Cleaning Fee: The checkout list felt unreasonable considering the cleaning fee Overall, the experience fell short, and we won’t return to this property or any others run by this host.

Our stay was wonderful as it was a little getaway for the family! Our favorite part was the pool and the closeness to the shore. The house was nice and clean and felt like home during our stay. We recommend staying here and hope to come back next year.

We enjoyed our stay! It was close enough to the beach and it was awesome having our own pool. The only downfall is that it gets too hot in the house as you are not allowed to increase the AC beyond a certain temp. Also, you are limited on towels which is tough since you want to take advantage of the beach and pool as much as possible. Besides this, it was an awesome stay. We will be back.

The house is in a great location and was perfect for our book club retreat! Listing looks exactly like the pictures. The house is clean and decorated very well! The kitchen had everything we needed except a wine key. However— there were a few things that weren’t perfect: after you complete the booking on Airbnb, you have to pay an outside company called superhog a nonrefundable 50$ deposit that doesn’t benefit the guest at all; they didn’t get the key code to me until 430 but their previous correspondence says I’d have it by 330 and the only reason I got it at 430 was because I called through Airbnb support multiple times and messaged the host a few times; and there are 0 pool towels or extra indoor towels but there is a pool in the backyard. The bath towels feel like they’re from a cheap hotel (thin, small, not soft)… so maybe use those for the pool and get nicer bath towels!

Great location and easy walk to beach. Comfortable for a weekend trip, but would not stay much longer. Place was clean and matched description. Pretty bare bones in terms of kitchen supplies, enough tools to get by. Tons of mosquitos by the pool - must bring citronella candles and bug spray if you want to use comfortably at dusk/dawn. Linens were bare minimum - 1 towel per guest. Beds firm, but comfortable enough. Host was unresponsive and only received automated messages (disregarding several questions asked). Thankfully we had no problems and enjoyed our stay! Loved the beach!!!

I have used Airbnb for a couple of years and had great experience overall but unfortunately I cannot say the same for my stay here. The home itself is nice and is well furnished but the reasoning for such a negative review is mainly due to not just inconvenience but also due to an ant problem. During our stay we had reach out letting the tenant know that there was no gas for the grill and they responded that this would get replaced. Well they came the following day to pick up the tanks but never came back, so we unfortunately had to make other dinner arrangements. The worst part of our stay was the ant problem. The ants were all over the kitchen coming in through the shiplap boards and even made their way into one of the rooms. Even to the point where my family was bitten and had to move out of the room. This was very unfortunate as we tried to make the most of our trip but couldn’t relax due to the ant infestation.

Our family vacation was a ton of fun and relaxation. Place was clean and easy to check in. The only thing I suggest is make sure you have plenty of bug spray and citronella candles.

All-around good stay. Very close to the beach which is what we wanted most. Clean and well-taken care of.

The house was perfect for our family of 5! We wanted a house further away from a bunch of condos or public beach access roads and didn’t mind being further from restaurants and shops to get a more private beach area. There were still plenty of restaurants and shops within 20 minutes! The beach is a short walk from the house and wasn’t crowded at all. Loved having a private pool to use! The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. There is construction around the community, but we were surprised by how quiet they were; hardly ever heard a thing. We will definitely be coming back!

Proximity to the beach is great, and not too far from stores and restaurants. The house was nice, but everything was smaller than expected based on the photos. The top bunk is not safe for a child to sleep in, the mattress is too thick for the railing so there is nothing to prevent rolling off.

Absolutely amazing spot! Perfect for a family of 4 to 6. Pool was nice and the beach was easy walking distance.
