The location is great. House is nice but needs a little tender loving care. Beds in a couple rooms very squeaky but comfortable. Only suggestion from some older guests was it would be nice to have a bathroom down stairs beach level.

Awesome stay with plenty of room for three families with a total of 12 people. Loved the proximity to the beach. We were able to sit on the back porch and watch our older kids have fun on the beach. My only reservation would be that there was no outdoor shower to rinse off before entering the house; there was only a water hose available. Overall, a fabulous place to stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again.

This was our fourth week-long stay at the Sunflower. One feature we especially appreciated on our last couple of visits was the refrigerator on the ground level—it saved a lot of trips up and down the stairs whenever someone wanted a cold drink. As always, everyone had a wonderful time.

We had a great time. The location was perfect, the view was amazing. Great surf fishing. The house needs some upgrades, especially the bathrooms, but overall we had a great experience.

Great home for quiet family getaways or a wedding. Loved the closeness to Gulf Shires but out of the hustle and bustle that can be sometimes. We live in the area and had a small wedding here.

Overall this is fantastic property. Our only disappointment was with the cleanliness of the house. Very dusty and appears to not have a deep cleaning in a long time. The location was great, right on the beach with a great view of the water.

We love staying at Sunflower beach house. Getting away from the cold and snow has been our dream retirement plans and Sunflower and the beach fulfills that dream. Jen, Tranera, and Allison at Coastal View have always been accommodating, professional, and very pleasant in their support of whatever was needed. We look forward to another great winter getaway in 2027.

The house was in great shape with everything we could need both in the kitchen and around the house! The house is in the perfect location. I will be staying here again!

Wonderful week with our family , House was just the right size for us . Only things that need to be addressed are the two reclining chairs in living area, they were pretty bad . Bathrooms could use some upkeep . Enjoyed the rocking chairs on the deck alot!

This is our third time staying at the Sunflower. It's a beautiful location, and the water is close. The house has all the kitchen utensils and appliances to cook great meals. The addition of a refrigerator downstairs made it much easier to have cold drinks without having to climb stairs. It also reduces the need for coolers. New bedding in the master bedroom would be nice.

We have stayed here 2 different times now and we love it . We will be back again .

Despite the snowstorm of the century, we enjoyed our stay at Sunflower. Our group of 6 and sometimes 8 had plenty of room and comfortable beds. Coastal View's management and care is over the top, meeting our every needs. Can't wait to return!!

Our children and grands from TX, KY, and AL met for a Thanksgiving gathering for the week. It was a great time in a wonderful home that was perfect for our needs. The views of sunrise and sunset were spectacular!

This house provided a great location for our group of 9. The view to the beach is great, and we very much enjoyed taking in the view from the patio. All 9 of us slept very comfortably in the house, and there was plenty of room to not feel like we were on top of each other. A 10/10 experience with Sunflower and Coastal View Vacations. I would absolutely stay there again.

Our family of 16, with 4 generations present, had the best time! Everything was as-is listed! Very clean. Plenty of room for all of us. Beds are a little rickety, but we were all so tired by the end of each day-no one cared! Bigger than expected! Thank you!

Two months on the Gulf at Sunflower is a great winter getaway which we plan to repeat for the next several years. The house is perfect for our gang and the management team is very accommodating with quick response to our needs and questions. I would recommend any properties managed by Coastal View. They are exceptional!!

We loved our Gulf Shores stay at the Sunflower! The rooms were great and we especially enjoyed that each had it's own bathroom. The kitchen was set up for entertaining and we had plenty of space. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The house was perfect for our group of 10. We enjoyed being right at the beach. The house was very comfortable for our group. We will rent again!

House is older but in good shape. Literally right on the beach, just a few steps to the water. Only problem is condos across the street have beach access so it is very crowed. Would be nice if only home owners had access to beach in front of their house.

Was a great getaway! Right on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was clean. Our only negative was that the mattresses were worn and need to be replaced.

The house size is fantastic, was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Many don’t realize the difference between renting for two winter months versus one summer week! Coastalview does! We will most likely be making Sunflower a permanent winter retreat home.

Our house was spacious and well designed. We enjoyed the two levels of decking to view the beach, water, birds, and dolphins! We had space to gather and room to be on our own. Wish we would have had more amenities: beach chairs, spare blankets, games/cards, area map. We want to come again!

This rental was perfect for my family of 11 plus my 2 small dogs. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was just a few steps from the beach. I definitely would stay here again.

The Sunflower was a wonderful place to stay in Gulf Shores. It was close enough to dining and activities, yet far enough that the beach wasn’t crowded. The house was cute and clean. We had one maintenance issue but it was dealt with very quickly. I’d highly recommend this place to stay and would definitely book it again.

We stayed at the sunflower last week with our family of 12. It was very spacious and was nicely located and directly on the beach. The views from the living areas and upstairs master/balcony were breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative feedback would be to maybe update the dining room table (badly stripped) and update the cooking utensils. Bring a can opener because theirs needs to be thrown away. We rented chairs and umbrellas from Ike’s. While we had to take them out and put them up each day, it was well worth the money and effort to have the nice chairs. We also rented a volleyball net which many guests enjoyed throughout the week!

We had a great time at the Sunflower. It's hard to tell from the photos, but the water is just a short walk from the house. Each of the five bedrooms has a private bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped. The house is very close to restaurants and shopping.

This was the perfect house for our trip. We had 13 people and it never felt crowded at all. It's a perfect location, not far from town and steps from the beach. The owner of the home is very easy to work with and responds quickly. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this home to anyone looking!

Literally “steps” to the beach and close to grocery/restaurants but not on the main drag which can get very congested. House is well laid out and felt clean. No “extras” provided; bring your own hairdryer, salt, etc... hvac didn’t work correctly while we were there
