SunDestin Some people I dealt with on the phone with scenic stays were extremely rude and others were really nice and helpful. Room was clean and nice location. If you have kids I do not agree with the company chairs right on the shoreline. Kids have no room to play and enjoy the ocean. You are almost forced to spend hundreds of dollars for chairs which is ridiculous.

Great 👍 The view was first and foremost my favorite thing. The balcony being ocean front is amazing. The room was just enough for my family of 4. No complaints and we would stay here again if the unit is available.
Oh what a view! First off the folks at Sun Destin were amazing. Helpful, considerate, and ensured your stay was great. The room was very nice. A few things needed some gentle maintenance such as the screen door doesn’t slide (common I know), the towel rack in the bathroom was loose and came undone (improvised and put it back together), the sink in the larger bathroom was clogged and needs to be snaked (I have to do this at home a lot), amongst a few other small updates needed. Additionally, there was no hairdryer for my wife which was difficult. Seems easy enough to have a cheap one on site for guests who forget one. Lastly, the common areas in the sun Destin leading to the beach were quite dirty. Understandable, given the amount of traffic but I’m fairly sure the glass doors weren’t cleaned at all during our entire stay. Aside from a few issues this is an amazing family friendly locale.

Great condo! The condo was very clean upon arrival. Appeared to be remodeled and it was a modern appearance! 17th floor balcony view was beautiful! A/C worked great for this Texas family along with the bunk beds built into the hallway. Our kids loved it! Overall a great condo!
We had a great time. The room was perfect for my spouse and I. However, I do not recommend staying here while the place is having renovations. They start at 8:00am SHARP every morning including the weekend. We will definitely be back after renovations are done.
Great getaway for just 2 Had a nice time at Sundestin, in Destin, FL. However, the AC unit is on the patio. A quiet evening enjoying a cocktail can soon be interrupted by the roar of the AC unit. Bedroom is small and there is not a space to set up a suitcase. Kitchen was great, but could use a couple of simple things like coffee filters and maybe a salt & pepper. Overall a relaxing stay but will probably look for something without an AC unit on the patio.
Great view, but bedroom was uncomfortable Pros: The view was fantastic. The water was very pretty The check-in/out procedure was very quick and efficient. The staff was friendly - front desk, restaurant bartender, beachchair boys On-site restaurant Tons of towels in bathroom. Cons: The king size bed was very uncomfortable. After two nights, I slept on one of the small bunk beds and it was much cozier than the king sized bed. The bedroom was very warm at night, despite the rest of the condo being very cool. You cannot use a personal umbrella on the beach - you must rent one from the beachside service. There was not a ramp that went all the way down to the beach. My wife and I would have to pick up our wagon to go up/down two sets of steps.
All you need for a great getaway The unit was extremely clean and in good condition with a beautiful view. The location was ideal with great amenities compared to other similar priced locations. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, except for one older gentleman who worked the front desk. He was rude and sarcastic to my wife when asking about some of the amenities.
Very nice condo with awesome view! This condo was just as it was advertised on VRBO. For being on the 17th floor, we expected the room to be warm and less than desirable water pressure. Neither was the case; the condo’s A/C is awesome and the water pressure in the shower and sinks are normal. The view off the balcony of the gulf is what drew me to this room. Sitting out on the balcony having coffee in the mornings or dinner in the evenings and listening to the waves was very relaxing, not to mention stress relief. The condo is located in walking distance to some restaurants, grocery stores, and a short drive from others. Overall, this property is somewhere my wife and I would definitely consider staying again. The few cons worth mentioning to this property are very easily worked around. During our stay, one of the condos above us was apparently being remodeled or repaired, so the daylight hours were filled with sounds of drills and banging on our walls almost constantly. No siestas for us on this trip until it was getting dark. 2. This unit is near an elevator, so we were constantly hearing people talking, coming, and going the entire time we were there. Nothing too terrible, but it was just distracting to us. 3. Please note that Sundestin has a company that takes care of beach amenities such as chairs and umbrellas. However, they do place a lot of furniture on the beach, so finding a place near the water to sit is challenging unless you rent from them. Also, note that you cannot bring or use your own umbrellas. While we were there, the company made several families take down their umbrellas. You must rent theirs in order to use one. This was a big deal to some families there and not so much to others. All in all, our time was definitely enjoyable and our stay was delightful. We went there to relax from a demanding work grind, and we were able to do so.

Great location Great price and perfect location.
Positive: The view was exceptional. It was nice having the two separate bathroom areas. Nice kitchen. Negative: The window in the bedroom allows people to see into it even with the curtains closed. This also kept the bedroom with too much light at night. That window needs blackout curtains for privacy and for blocking light. My husband was not able to sleep in there and had to try to sleep on the bunk bed.
The place was conveniently right outside the elevator, balcony and the place itself was spacious.
Only complaint is no washer and dryer in the room. They do have one in the hallways you can use but it’s then 2.50 per wash and per dry.

Room was clean and beds were relatively comfortable. The noise from the elevators, uncomfortable furniture in the living room and balcony, and air conditioning unit on balcony made this unit very unpleasant. Elevator noise was all night long. Air conditioning unit made the balcony hot and loud. Furniture was very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Honestly, worst condo we have ever stayed in at the gulf - and we go every year. Communication about check in and out procedures was inaccurate. Had to call multiple times just to be told different information. Ultimately just showed up and checked in. Agreements with umbrella company on the beach is ridiculous- can’t get close to the shoreline unless you pay. Complete scam and tourist trap. Would never recommend.
The room itself was clean & nice. The elevator pulley makes noise everytime someone uses it, you can hear it 24/7 in your room, not much staff around and readily available if help is needed.

Omission in property description When we booked our reservations, we were not told of the construction going on in the hotel. We were also not informed that the pool and the hot tub were both unavailable due to construction and the were both of the construction early in the morning was very annoying. The view was great, and the staff was very friendly.
Beautiful Views! We were very pleased with the overall cleanliness, location and function of this condo. We loved our time sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves. The views of emerald green waters were breathtaking.
Our New Spot Fist time vacationing in Destin and the SunDestin was awesome. Worth every penny and they had beach equipment rentals available so we got to pack light for the drive down. Front desk staff is top notch!

Lovely Stay! Very clean and cozy condo. We saw dolphins, sting rays and even groups of jellyfish from our balcony. An overall great place to stay!
Beautiful view Condo nicely equipped and very comfortable. View is amazing. This is our second stay in Sundestin. Will be back for sure. Friendly staff and the Pelicans Roost is a great addition.

One bad apple Friday morning the lobby floor and main floor outside our unit had quite a bit of sand on them as the same female cleaning crew employee stood huddled in a corner on both floors texting on her phone for the entire time we were in the areas. I made the remark there was quite a bit of sand around and she angrily applied she was on break and went back to texting. Besides the encounter with her all the staff were very friendly and efficient. Over all we enjoyed our stay and will be back in the spring.

Destin 7/28/2022 Pictures and description are accurate. The beach and water were really nice. Destin overall was very overcrowded - the beaches, traffic, restaurants - everything extremely crowded and that kind of took away from the vacation. Some feedback on the room. The owner should seriously consider replacing the fabric furniture and rugs (smell) with something like wicker with cushions and an outdoor rug. The mattresses could also use an update. Other than that it was a very nice room in a very crowded location.

Sundestin the best! We loved this place. It was cozy, friendly, buzzing, has everything you need in one place, and close to everything. Exactly as pictured, wish we didn't have to leave.
