Very Tiny Condo The description says this condo sleeps 4, but the condo was almost too small for just my husband and me. It does have a nice view of the ocean and nice chairs on the patio, and the condo building is nice, including a concierge, restaurant, and gift shop. The pools advertised are very small, but the walk to the beach is very short with the beach equipment rental hut right on the boardwalk. The bathroom in the condo needs to be completely renovated. The shower wand would not stay in its holder, making it very difficult to shower. Def not a relaxing experience after a long day. The sofa is very squeaky which is also not a relaxing experience. We would def stay at this resort again, but not in this particular unit.

Long weekend Anniversary trip! My wife and I came down Thursday early and was able to check in at 2pm(thank you!). We state through Sunday and had a wonderful time. The condo was updated, very clean, bed was great, and the view was wonderful from the 16th floor. I was initially a little disappointed when the view wasn’t facing directly at the beach, but was a side view with half being of the beach and the other half of Destin. However I really grew to like the view of both. The only negative we experienced is the beach chair situation. If you don’t book the chairs plenty of time in advance, you will be in the 3rd row of chairs and the whole beach is taken up by the chair rentals. So the only place to sit is behind the third row of rental beach chairs and I just didn’t like the situation. Other than that, everywas perfect and loved our stay!

Beautiful View and location This is a beautiful condo! We loved watching the sunset on the balcony. Perfect condo for a couple wanting to get away!

Paradise! We came for our 10 year anniversary trip and we were not disappointed! Even though our condo was located on the corner of the building, we still had beautiful views! We are already planning our next trip back. ❤️

Anniversary Really nice!

Retirement Celebration My husband just retired and we decided to go to the beach after our annual family reunion to celebrate! We loved the condo, the location and the beach! Everything and everyone was perfect!!

First Time to Destin Everything was great as advertised. The only negative was the limited parking and drive up access to the entrance due to construction. It sounds like next years construction will be worse. Several long term guests indicated they will not come next year.

Beautiful room and the beach front view The Best hotel service awesome! Some of the best fresh seafood in the state at local restaurants nearby. Can’t wait to stay again! 5 Stars!!!

Location, location, location! If you’re looking for easy beach access and a fun experience at the right price…….look no further! Beach is right out the back door!

Birthday Celebration and Scouting Trip Initially, I was annoyed with SunDestin because I had tried communicating with them a couple of months before my arrival. I emailed them seeking logistical information for proximity to airport, golf courses and other attractions I was interested in, with no response from anyone. However, and upon touch-down in Destin the distance to the facilities weren't bad. The staff was great and friendly, the foyer smelled good and fresh and my room was fantastic, from cleanliness to views of the Atlantic Ocean on the 16th floor. If you Stat at this property try to select anything a unit on the 10th floor and above. The golf courses, Regatta and Emerald Bay were well within a 10 minutes drive, the Outlet Mall, maybe 12 minutes away and the seafood restaurants and grocery stores within 5 to 8 minutes of the property. But be advised, I traveled in February with minimal crowds. I was advised by some golfing friends it could take up to 3 hours to travel 3 miles down Harbor Blvd. Overall, I would definitely stay at SunDestin again but request a unit with a view facing directly south towards the Atlantic Ocean. My unit had a more southwest side view of the ocean, but the views were still acceptable and satisfying.

The condo was so romantic. The view from the bedroom and the living room just made it dreamy. My Husband and I enjoyed our stay. You can’t go wrong if you rent this condo! It was clean, it was exactly as pictured and described. The Resort is very lovely. This is our second time there and we will definitely be back!!!

Birthday Trip This Condo exceeded my expectations. It was so clean and the staff were always so helpful. It is centrally located.

Family Fun Time 2021 This vacation is one we will never forget! It was so easy using Vrbo to search for the perfect place to stay. There are so many amazing options that it was hard to choose. We had the best time! I will definitely be staying there in the future.

Perfect place for a beach holiday.

The condo it self was well kept. The property was under renovations and there wasn’t window treatment on the window over the kitchen sink which is beside the front door. So anyone walking by can see into the unit. The construction noise starts around 8am but stops before 9. It continues around noon. The entrance into the building was hard to find. The parking lot was used for the construction work.

Great views but had a problem with the sliding doors not locking. Everything nice and clean. Very short walk to the beach.

Beach view

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Walking in you could smell how clean it was! The front desk was friendly and very helpful. I was going to the 16th floor and already had anxiety they pumped me up telling me how good the room view was. When we walked In the room was beautiful and that view was everything! I started feeling bad and left a day earlier than planned they treated me so good called and checked on me and offered me a refund for the night I didn’t stay! Denzel was very professional and very helpful! 10/10 recommend!!! We will return in the fall!

I have stayed at SunDestin twice now and it is one of my favorite places! This particular condo is very nice, amazing views of the ocean, direct access to a very beautiful beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas. The condo itself is very clean, comfortable, has a standard coffee maker, and provides dishes and a starter cleaning, set with dishwasher detergent, dish soap, bathroom soap . Check-in was very simple. There was plenty of parking. I hardly could tell construction was happening when we were there. Just as a heads up, you are not allowed to bring your own umbrella to the beach. However, they do let you bring your own canopy/chairs to the beach. I highly recommend staying here!

Loved Our Stay! This condo was perfect for our beach trip! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The ocean view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful—we spent a lot of time just relaxing and enjoying it.The location was great—close to everything and right on the beach. The decor was cute and coastal, and the space felt very welcoming.We had such a great time and would definitely come back!

Would not again The property is under full renovation, which should have been disclosed before the booking. When you arrive, the property looks abandoned with plywood boards from bottom floor to top. The outdoor amenities are closed for construction. The construction workers are working all day long, which is loud. The room itself was ok. The dishwasher was loose, there was a small hole in bedroom wall, and the tv systems were problematic.The washers and dryers were in a dingy room and were 2.25. There were 2 dirty grills outside by the dumspter area in the parking lot.The onsite staff was pleasant, but we did feel bad for them due to the constant complaints we saw them receive.The beach was within walking distance and was very nice.I called to speak with management but I mever received a call back.top.covering o

Property The condo was great, clean and great view. Only down side that is not related to the condo/unit itself is that I did not know there was going to be so much going on renovation wise...pool was open but not useable with work going and you could hear the work going on when sitting on the beach. But again...the condo itself was great!

Very accommodating! It was known that the building was in the process of renovation prior to our arrival, but upon checking in, the front desk person immediately addressed our concerns regarding the inability to use the balcony of our rented unit by moving us to comparable unit with a usable balcony. Great service, great views, and great place… can’t wait to see how the renovation turns out.

Property well maintained We enjoyed our stay during the week. On our last day, Sat, we couldn’t set on our patio from cigar and cigarette smoke smell. I realize it is hard to police, guests should follow the rules. Would recommend property. Waffle House across the street… bonus

Amazing getaway It was a great room we were in with everything you need besides coffee filters and salt/pepper. The view is amazing, and it’s great that the comfy couch is a pullout. The pools and hot tub are amazing with good temperature. Everything is close by, so we didn’t need gas the whole time here. I wish the tiki bar was open outside, and the reserved beach chairs and umbrella take up the whole property from 7am to 5pm. You have to be behind it if you have any tent. No umbrellas allowed except for theirs. I wish they didn’t take up the whole front shoreline for their stuff because it’s expensive and cramped beside each other, which makes it awkward to walk between to get to the ocean. I would recommend this place but probably save money for the reversed chairs and umbrella.

Amazing This property is very clean and managed by a great staff! It had everything we needed on our three night stay. The best part is the beach view and easy access to the beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Great with a few minor details. Excellent views. The concierge and staff were great. Location offers plenty of things to do within a few minutes in either direction. Ok here are a few details that were overlooked. The front door security latch was broken. One of the toilet seats was loose. The bedroom balcony glass door was difficult to lock. The light over the kitchen counter was blinking. And there was construction that made it difficult to get unloaded at the front door. Overall the location and staff helped us get over the inconvenience. Hopefully next time they will be finished with construction.

Great with a few minor details. I've submitted my full review with "Scenic Stays" but the view was excellent and the concierge and staff were very helpful. Great location near to a lot in both directions. The construction and minor room details may be discouraging to some. But it was nice to go down to the lobby and walk out the back door right onto the beach.

Peaceful, Cozy. Serene We really enjoyed our stay here. The entire place was spotless from top to bottom and offered a sense of homeliness from the time we walked in. The only drawback I had was while making this reservation the pictures made me believe that this was a full view of the ocean when it is in fact a partial view. Nonetheless, the view was still breathtaking and serene. Highly Recommend.

July Vacation Toaster doesn’t work. No coffee filters. Ones we got didn’t work. Put coffee grounds in the coffee. Should at least have salt and pepper. Bar and pool area need some love. Other than that the place was amazing. Would go back without a doubt and recommend to anyone.

Great time, loved the beach and clear blue ocean. Would book again. Bathrooms in need of updated toilet seats. Beds very comfortable! Wish our view would have been full beach and ocean front.

Stay at Destin Condo This place was awesome. If you wish to relax , this is the place to be , clean , location, location ‘ location!

Enjoyed our Stay, just a few small flaws. The only downside to our condo is that there wasn't a washing machine or dryer in the unit itself. One was provided down the hall. One of the kitchen cabinets didn't close all the way as well and the bed was comfortable but it is very tall so a shorter person would have to climb up into the bed. Other than that, it was a very nice and cozy. The view is amazing. Very clean.

Amazing ocean view and VERY clean unit I don’t usually take time to leave reviews but I had to with this one. When we arrived everything was perfectly clean and ready for us ! The ocean view from the balcony and master bed room was AMAZING! We loved watching sunset . Bed was supper conform. Can’t wait to come back . Highly recommend! THANK YOU !!

Bad Smell We are mystified by the good reviews. The building is really worn out. Not resort-like at all. There is a nasty moldy smell coming from the air conditioning vents. Significant black mold is growing under kitchen sink. There is peeling paint on the ceiling of the bathroom. One of the bathroom sinks drains very slowly indicating an accumulation of gunk in the drain. The flexible shower hose leaks badly where it meets the shower head causing weak water pressure. There is a rip in one of the sofa cushions. The floors were not cleaned thoroughly. Sand from previous renters was evident when walking barefoot. The bed was comfortable and the view was nice, but in general our stay was not a pleasant experience.

Bad Smell Building is worn out. Everything just feels old. Not resort-like. The unit has a really bad moldy smell coming from air conditioning vents. Disgusting black mold is growing under kitchen sink. Couch has a torn cushion. Peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling. One of the bathroom sinks drains very slowly indicating a buildup of gunk in the drain. The shower’s flexible hose leaks badly, so water pressure is poor. Floor was not well clean. Soles of bare feet picked up sand from previous renter. Bed is comfortable. Nice view.

Great stay and location Great condo and location for 3 of us. Super clean and updated. Great view of the beach, always love a balcony view. Perfect location close to everything. Only thing to better the stay would be a washer and dryer in condo, but would 100% book this room again!

Perfect Stay! The most perfect stay in SunDestin resort, and we come almost every year to Destin. Perfect ocean view. The place was very clean and loved the space overall.

Repairs We love Sundestin. Unfortunately our Air Conditioner was about to go out when we arrived along with a new flapper for the commode so workmen had to come our 1st night. We appreciated them coming pretty fast. Candy at the front desk is THE BEST !!! The others were not nearly as friendly. She is happy, caring, willing to help...extremely friendly. Always keep her!!

Corner View Great stay, just had a few minor issues. The AC would kick in and off until you would touch the thermostat, and it would wake you up every night. Toilet would constantly run as well. TV would play a picture, but had no Volume. Otherwise the place was very nice. Gives a corner view of the beach to watch the sunset.

Gorgeous View This unit has a breathtaking view. The property was clean. The room was just as pictured. Very nice. I would definitely stay in this unit again.

Nice place to stay My stay was nice the room was clean and in order but we had a bad experience with the noise coming from the HVAC unit it woke us up twice two nights in a row

Perfect Location On the 16th floor high above the noise with a beautiful view of the Gulf and beach. Four fast elevators make the height no problem. The slight angle to the beach allow a full beach view but with a wind break and total privacy on the long balcony accessible from the living area as well as the bedroom. Well appointed furniture and very relaxing memory foam mattress. The management personnel were friendly and accommodating in every respect. I really can think of nothing to complain about in the least. It was a wonderful experience at a very competitive price. We will ask for this specific condo next year.

Great Location! Location right on the beach, perfect size for two people. Resort was wonderful and close to everything.

Beautiful but Plan on Renting Chairs The condo itself was beautiful, the view was fantastic and the beach access was very direct and short. Our stay here was beautiful! However, I wish someone (especially the listing) had explained the situation on the beach. You are all but required to rent chairs and umbrellas from the service provided. Now that isn’t necessarily a problem, but I wish we could have planned on it. The entire stretch of beach surrounding the SunDestin is private for whichever condo it’s in front of so you have to set up in front of your condo building. For the SunDestin there are 2-3 full rows of rental chairs and umbrellas that take up every foot of shoreline that you’re allowed to be on. Basically, you have to rent or you’ll have your entire view blocked while behind the chairs- plus no tents allowed for shade unless you’re behind a certain sign designating an area. All in all, great visit but either plan on renting or being pretty far back from the beach.

Good place t Good to stay, but the pool kind a dirty!

Activities Not enough things to do at the resort for adults...especially if the weather is bad...Then no beach or pool!!! Had to go look for fun...which is ok ...but traffic was horrible...and an unfortunate fire at Alvins across the street.
