The BEST birthday get away!! My husband and I stayed here for my birthday get-away. The condo was newly renovated and absolutely beautiful!! The decor was very simple and elegant, yet still gave the beach vibe (which we loved). The condo was very clean and had everything we needed! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very clean and comfortable! The room was very clean and comfortable. Everything was nicely updated. The only problem my husband and I had was sitting on the balcony, you could smell the neighbors smoking. Other than that, the room was perfect!

Had to move to another unit due to my Husband fear of heights. The unit we were moved to was outdated and was not of equal value. VERY DISSAPOINTED about that.

Beautiful view, average experience. My family has vacationed in Destin for 30 yrs and we have never stayed here before. The condo itself was very nice - the couch needs a little cleaning, but overall very comfortable. The only note I found strange is that we couldn’t leave the door to the balcony open without an inch of water/condensation forming on the floor, and there are ZERO bathroom or kitchen mats, so we were all slipping all over the place. The view was HEAVEN and definitely worth the price we paid. The negatives - amenities are quite dated, the guys that work the beach chair hut were SUPER RUDE, and there were KIDS EVERYWHERE. We are looking to buy a place, but sadly had to rule this one out - the elevator wait times were crazy and there were just too many unattended children for us to be able to enjoy our time away from our busy life.

Great Vacation We just returned home yesterday after spending six nights in 1602 Sundestin. My husband and I traveled with our 8 year old son. This is the first time that we have not rented a condo with a bedroom for him- but we waited until last minute to book and didn\'t have many options. Our son slept on the pullout couch which he said was comfortable. The only down side to him not having his own room was there was no where to keep his clothes, so all of our clothes were packed into the master closet- which really wasn\'t a huge deal. We were very pleased with this unit and EVEVERYTHING seems to have just been redone. Very clean... This unit is the second from the end, so for the most part it was very quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and everything we needed... Would recommend 1602 to others... and already have two friends checking it.

Perfect Honeymoon We had a great honeymoon! We would stay again!

Just some time away I’m a full time stay at home mom, who really needed to recharge. This was the absolute perfect place to do that! The view from the balcony was amazing. The condo was immaculate. The beach was pristine and the weather was perfect. The property and staff were wonderful and I always felt safe. My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer and the wifi is very patchy, especially in the bedroom. Other than that, I’m hoping to make this a yearly getaway for myself.

Anniversary Getaway Beautiful view, accommodations exactly as depicted with lots of amenities, and close to all the shopping & attractions. Relaxing. Just pure "ahhhh". Thank you.

Had the best view! Very clean and check in was easy.

Host never replied to a question before check in. Elevators are way to small and no ventilation.

The room is exactly as pictured as well as the view from the balcony. Very clean unit & also had 2 box fans that were a bonus! No washer/dryer located in the unit. No parking garage so your vehicle is uncovered during your stay! Easy access to the beach! There’s a ramp leading up the beach for your wagon but you will have to carry down stairs to the sand!

Room was very clean the hotel it’s self was not what was advertised. All the construction noise was annoying.

We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony every morning and evening! A huge thank you to the housekeeping team for the impeccable cleanliness. Despite the hotel being fully booked, the excellent soundproofing ensured a good night's sleep! We recommend it 100%!

Condo was clean and spacious! Ocean / Beach view was breathtaking! We absolutely enjoyed staying there, from the moment we arrived until the kindly farewell from the front desk, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Property was amazing! We would highly recommend to everyone and we will be coming back year after year!!! Thank you for your hospitality!

Our stay at SunDestin resorts was very nice. The condo was very clean upon arrival. We enjoyed a week of beautiful weather on the gulf. The resort is close to restaurants, Harbor Walk Village and Crab Island. We will definitely return!

No Indoor/OutDoor Pool we were unable to use the indoor pool for two days, also the hot tub in the weigh room was not in use the entire time!

Great amenities, clean, and great location This property was clean and had great amenities (pools, hot tubs ,spas, exercise room, bar). The location was also walking distance to a few restaurants.

Problem with building, not individual condo. I am leaving less than 5 stars in all categories because we had trouble with the property itself. The property is older (the individual condo is beautiful and upgraded though.) Because of its age, some of the elevators were under maintenance. The other elevators sounded horrible when we used them to the 16th floor. Everyone that road them were a bit nervous. There was very little security measures in the building. Anybody off the street can walk in, take the elevator, walk through another door (no key needed to open) and access our rooms. One night at 2:00 pm someone banged on our door about 10 times. Scared me to death. Later we found out this person banged on someone else’s door too. No security. Another evening (of our 4) the alarm to the building went off with a voice saying (VERY LOUDLY) to evacuate immediately and don’t use the elevator. It was 4:00 am!!! We got dressed as quick as we could, grabbed some valuables then headed down 16 flights of floors. I was shaking. (We had been through the trauma of the OKC Bombing.) When we arrived at the bottom we were told it was a false alarm. It happened THREE MORE TIMES! We were in Destin to officiate a funeral. I was also not feeling well and craved rest. I was not rested but the opposite after two very disturbing evenings. I contacted the property, told them about the situation and requested part of my trip be reimbursed. We paid a lot of money for this off-season room. I asked for at least the property’s portion to be reimbursed. I have yet to hear from them. It’s been 10 days or more. I wouldn’t stay here again for no other reason except I didn’t feel safe. There were not good security measures in place. The condo itself was wonderful but they need to have key codes to the individual floor entrances in those doors. Their alarm system needs help. Their elevators need major renovation.

SunDestin Excellent floorplan and decor. Modern and clean. Exactly as described; no surprises. View was amazing. Lots of on-site amenities....indoor/outdoor pools, hot tub, lounge, store, shuffleboard, and of course, the beach. Will recommend to friends and family.

Tiny Bugs My only complaint is that there were gnats or other tiny flying bugs all around the condo. Not a big deal, just annoying.

Million Dollar View Great clean condo right on the beach with a fantastic view from the 16th floor! No disappointments with this property, it's nicely decorated and very well maintained. Did I mention the view? Close to all activities and food. Donuts and coffee close by as well.

Perfect Vacation at the Perfect Location I could not ask for a more perfect vacation! Everyone at Sundestin was so friendly and helpful from beginning to end! The unit I stayed in (1602) was spotless when I arrived! The view from the balcony was spectacular! So spectacular that on several occasions during my stay, I was able to see dolphins swimming by. Sundestin is the perfect location as well. Easy access to the highway made it so easy to get anywhere I wanted to go. The washer and dryer are at the end of the hall, so close to do laundry since there was not a set in the unit. I had a great nights sleep every night. The bed was so comfortable. The couch, however, not so much. It may be time to replace it, but I really wasn’t there that much so not that big of a deal. I was told there was not a hairdryer in the unit, so I brought mine along. When I got there, there was one in the unit. That should be advertised. I would have liked more suitcase space. Plus no beach towels are provided. Again, I brought some along. Not that big of a deal. Overall. One of the best most relaxing vacations I have ever had! I would definitely stay, not only in this unit, but anywhere at Sundestin again. Thank you for a great vacation!

Beautiful Condo! The condo was exactly like the pictures, if not better! View off the balcony is amazing. Most comfortable vacation bed by far!!! Our first night there, during the night a large mirror in the living/dining area fell out/off of the wall! Other than that everything was intact and in excellent shape! The resort itself scared me and my guest a little as we approached and viewed the entrance, lobby and hallway areas.. but once we opened the door to our room it was a whole different world inside! I would definitely stay here again.
