Would not stay here again. The condo had several maintenance issues. The bathtub would not drain while you were showering. The faucet head appeared to be held together with a zip tie. One of the toilets would not quit running. My husband had to fix it several times during our stay. The unit looked as if it had tried to be updated recently. There was some cosmetic issues with missing paint etc. There is construction being performed on the building so when you pull up it does not give you a good first impression. The lobby was very nice when you walked inside, a pleasant surprise from your expectation after seeing the outside. However, on a good note the bed slept very well, the shower pressure was great and AC was very cool.

Gorgeous Ocean Views & Perfect Accommodations Happy to have a full kitchen and enough space for two of us. Morning coffee on the patio, easy access to the beach, friendly staff and very clean. Great parking and perfect access to all of Destin. (Bring coffee filters)

Nice condo with great location We enjoyed our stay at Sundestin. The location was perfect. The condo was a good size for just my husband and me. The pool was small and always crowded, so we did not visit the pool. The master bedroom was nice and spacious. The only complaint I have is that the tub did not drain properly, so you were standing in water while taking a shower. Also, the bathroom smelled like urine, so I’m not sure if it was from a lack of cleaning. The condo was very clean otherwise and I would stay there again.

We will likely be back!! This was my husbands first time in Destin, and I’d visited a few times in the past. We were within driving distance of everything we wanted to do, including a short 20 minute drive to Miramar beach for better shopping. The ocean was right outside our window, and it was so accessible to get to each day multiple times a day for short walks or days spent. The concierge when we checked in was very sweet, and all of the staff interactions we had were positive. The elevators were a little worrisome, making strange noises or being out of order. I imagine 4 isn’t nearly enough in the even busier months.

1516 was an amazing experience for my husband and I. We came to Destin for our honeymoon and this room did not disappoint. There is not a washer and dryer in the room but instead on each floor for everyone to use. The view is amazing and honestly better than the pictures listed. The bed is extremely comfortable. Room was clean and smelled good when we walked in. There were plenty of towels provided to use in the room. The water pressure was great. Really no complaints. I did reach out to contact our host to add on an extra day and the communication was amazing and they got back to me immediately.

This trip was for our honeymoon, and we truly enjoyed our stay. This has been our favorite place to say thus far!

Family Vacation It was fair. Room didn’t have washer and dryer. No hair dryer.

Great location/amenities This condo worked really great for our little family. We had a good view of the ocean from the balcony and windows. The indoor pool and splash pad was a fan favorite for our 2 year old.

Worth it! Great place to stay if you're trying to maximize value by being right on the beach but a direct view of the ocean isn't completely a deal breaker. You do get an angled view from the room we stayed in which was still very pretty. Staff was courteous and the store had basically everything you could need as far as snacks and ice was concerned. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing! Got this place for a little girls trip to the beach and it did not disappoint! Perfect location right on the beach, the staff was all very friendly and helpful. Would 10/10 recommend and come again

Good place for vacation

Property around unit was under construction. 15th floor was a little uncomfortable for my husband due to his fear of heights.

Our stay was great. The room was very clean. I will say the construction was a little aggravating... just trying to navigate how to get around and hearing them working very early in the morning. We also didn't realize there was even a hot tub until the last day. I would suggest them putting signs up for that until the construction is over. Other than that, everything was great. Staff was friendly, room was clean, restaurant was a little pricey, but food was good. Would come and stay again.

Great location easy access to the beach! Very friendly staff and environment! Only reason i didnt give it five stars was because the pillows on the bed were horrible woke up with a sore neck every day haha, next time will bring my own but i will stay there again

Nice Condo with a great view The condos location was wonderful with a great view. The balcony is big enough to sit and enjoy your morning coffee with a great view of the beach and water. You can see dolphins from the balcony which is nice and fun. The condo itself is a decent size. The ceilings are low. The furniture is hit or miss. The dining table is something probably picked up from a second hand store that wobbles and feels like it will fall apart. The sofa was comfortable. The master bed was comfortable enough. The shower didn’t drain properly but the service crew came up the next day to fix it and they did. This was very comforting to have people on site to address any issues. The kitchen was clean. The appliances functioned. The condo is on the 15th floor and it may be due to the construction but there is no AC in the hallways or elevator. This wasn’t a huge deal bc went in July expecting to sweat. The parking. If you aren’t back to the condo right after dinner, you will be parking across the busy highway and down a little ways. Not a HUGE deal but something to be aware of. This condo has some potential to be quite comfortable and charming. A little personality and nicer finishes would have made me want to rent this condo everytime we come to Destin.

Amazing I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Amazing service, extremely clean. It was so nice to have a restaurant and sea store inside the resort! Overall we had a perfect trip at a perfect place!

Perfect Experience Our stay here was fabulous. Everything was so clean and the staff was great! It was so convenient to be able to rent chairs at the beach and have access to a restaurant at the property along with a place to get iced coffee or quite literally anything else we may have needed for our stay or beach day, at the little beach store downstairs. Not a far drive from countless restaurants. This place was great. Will be back!

While the location and property was very busy, the room was lovely! Quiet and we loved the balcony and views. The bed was the most comfortable that we’ve slept in in any rental property we’ve ever stayed at. Having 1.5 baths was very nice, too! The kitchen was well stocked with things you might need to cook, however with the close proximity to such great seafood places, we did not cook in the condo. I do hate that you have to pay for chairs/umbrella separately and they are not included in the price. But that is not the fault of the host. Overall, we had a lovely trip and enjoyed our time there.

The Bed was so comfy So to be brutally honest, this wasn’t my favorite place to stay in Destin. The place is huge and therefore felt very busy all the time. Plus, having to pay separately for chairs and umbrella kinda sucked (the other two places I’ve stayed in the area it was included). It was close to lots of Destin attractions/dining though, so that was nice. Specifically though, our room was cute and well maintained. The view was nice. The balcony was lovely. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. And the bed was the most comfortable in any vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at! Having one and a half baths was really nice, too!

Construction Sun Destin was great, but was not a where that the whole place was under construction!! Everything you booked Sun Destin for was closed, plastic hanging everywhere,, very disappointed other than that, it was good.

Electrical in unit I am an electrician...... Lamp closets to back sliding door flickers really bad. I unplugged it. It is dangerous. The light bulb socket looks broken.Lighted switch for foyer light flickers. needs changed out. Not working properlyI would have an electrician install some USB devices on kitchen counter and by lamp in bedroom. It's the new style and future vacationers would love this application.

My visit It was great.

Vaca 2024 I really only had issue with the construction which we didnt know about when reservations were made. Place was fairly nice and staff were wonderful.

Beach Vacation Loved it!!

Stinky sink and dishwasher We had a great time. Just wished the kitchen sink and dishwasher didn’t smell like rotten food. It also did not have everything in the unit that was promised, but we made it work.

Outdoor beach area The trip overall was great. The communication about beach equipment was not great. Very costly.

Vacation The condo was a little outdated and needed some work. The view wasn't the best, very bright tennis court lights at night.

Condition Unit needs some updating including appliances

Condo dated Condo didn't have washer and dryer, unit is dated and needs a face lift! Funiture was old and table had bad water stain bubbling up in it! Tub drain wouldn't drain well would fill up over feet as I showered. Didn't have all kitchen appliances like coffee k cup machine, old coffee pot, shower head had a zip tie on it. It in need of a renovation. Seeing it in line and than in person staying was totally different. Very disappointed for the money I paid to stay there in it.

Wasn’t what pictures make it out to be! Everything is dated. Tub drain was only slowly drain! Funiture old and dirty looking. Website said it had all cooking stuff to prepare meals it didn’t, didn’t have a washer and dryer!! Had two toilets in the same bath area wierd! Just wasn’t what we expected and paid for everything was dated the bathtub. Would not drain correctly when showering. Didn’t have a washer and dryer, the faucet head had a zip tie on it for some reason don’t know why didn’t have but an old coffee maker, no cup coffee maker, as it was advertised that it had all cooking utensils and pots and pans and stuff it didn’t. Not enough hand towels, washcloths very disappointed in the unit and the condition Harley any pictures everything is outdated the unit needs to be remodeled and painted.

Weekend vacation Got the job done, had some time off from work and wanted something close to everything in destin.

Beautiful place to stay We loved our condo. The resort staff were friendly and very helpful. The view from our room was perfect. Will definitely be returning.

4/5 Week Vacation Overall a wonderful week, the SunDestin is a great spot to stay. The staff were nice and the beach was perfect. The unit needs a few updates and repairs, but overall was great. A few of the outlets did not work, the vent in the bathroom with the shower didn’t work, the bedroom closet door looked like it was going to fall, the couches need a deep clean. We appreciated the notice that construction was underway due to hurricane damage ~ it was not disruptive. We met a resident who was very kind. Would stay at the SunDestin again!

Relaxation Was a splendid place to stay. Plenty of room and very nice. Only thing I wish was for there to be a blow dryer.

Nice little vacation. Bring a hair dryer though. I forgot mine and there wasn’t one in there.

Great place! Loved our stay here. I had been to destin before but coming in September was absolutely amazing. Lots to do, great location, right on the beach. Cant ask for much more. The place itself has some wear but thats to be expected somewhat. Overall we enjoyed it very much!

RELAXING! Great getaway for a relaxing trip. Very clean and quiet property. We enjoyed being steps away from the beach and the relaxing in the outdoor pool before heading up to the condo.

Super location, easy beach access, and well-appointed unit This was our first time staying here and it's exactly what you need. Comfortable bed (four nights of perfect sleep). Helpful notes before you arrive: Bring coffee filters and there is no hairdryer. Bring bottled water and ice. Comes with paper towels and dish soap, dishwasher tabs, and even laundry soap. The access to the beach and the ease of being a short drive from everything is the biggest benefit of this unit. Do a grocery store run before you get there and you'll be set for your stay. We would definitely return to this unit!

Update of unit needed. Renting was easy. Pucture gave impression you were looking directly at the beach. But, actually a side condo. Need a new area rug, worn. Update to stainless appliances. Bed was very comfortable. Need to provide coffee and update to keurig.

Highly recommended Had a great stay! Wonderful view & easy access to the beach.Lots of good restaurants close by.The unit was very clean and the staff was very friendly.Had some trouble with accessing the television cable,and had to put in three request before anyone came up,and their was absolutely no smoking allowed on the premises,but outside of those minor complaints,,not much to be unhappy about.Highly recommended!!

Nice view ! We stayed here 5 nights! The most I liked was the view from this apartment ! Half ocean half city I enjoyed. We aren’t picky , everything was ok for us. The most problematic was about the rules of the umbrella that the hotel doesn’t allow you at ALL to open your own only to rent from them, but God blessed us with a little clouds every day and we stayed good without one and no sunburn 🤣

1st time here and definitely won't be our last Vacation was well worth the drive and the catering of our stay was beyond amazing. Great views!!!! Also has everything u could ask for from the time u step on property to the time u put u toes in the sand. Definitely recommend this property and thank u for this amazing experience

Loved it!! This is now going to be where we stay in Destin. This was our 1st trip to Destin. Everyone was so pleasant. From front desk, to the bartenders who were both amazing. The guys that rent the chairs and umbrella. Perfect 4 day getaway. We will be back. Thank you SunDestin for an amazing stay❤️

Great Our visit was great! Just what we needed.

Unhappy Property had incomplete repairs/painting, very noisy HVAC, dirty/smelly common areas, misleading info on laundry.

Labor Day Weekend Overall I recommend the property, however we were disappointed in the personal umbrella rule by the HOA. We personally feel like the story about an umbrella poking out someone’s eye from 16 years ago and only allowing a private company to offer yet the same umbrella with just “insurance” was sort of silly. Maybe giving guests the opportunity to “insure” their personal umbrella makes just as much sense. Nonetheless, the view was great and so was the shore shop inside the condo with ice. Very smart and helpful. Would recommend to friends and would likely revisit the property.
