First time to Destin. This condo was very nice. The issues we had was that the bath tub needs to have some sort of shower mat to keep from slipping, this was a big issue with both my husband and myself, and possibly some sort of grab bar when getting in and out. I know this issue is more for older people than younger ones. My husband loved that it had a recliner, he sometimes has a hard time sleeping and needs to recline, so that was a big plus. Also the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, including my own.

Awesome View This unit was very comfortable for 2! The view was beautiful, on the 14th floor. The unit had everything you could need, except scissors. Check out was a hassle, as our key quit working (before check out time), so our luggage was locked inside and the elevators were maxed out. Some people waited 45 minutes to catch one. Staggered check out would be nice. Overall, would stay again.

Room 1407 Great room on the 14th floor. Beautiful view from the private balcony. It was very clean and comfortable. Perfect room for a couple.

Perfect vacation spot Beautiful views from a private balcony was so relaxing. Conveniently located to wonderful restaurants and opportunities for family fun.

Internet Everything was good except this place does not have router Ethernet connection, wifi only, I came to Sundestin several times but this is the first time that I got a room with no router, I guess is up to the owners hace it or not, besides it everything was great, I just couldn’t work but i rested. Great location

Everything was great except the carpet in our bedroom was really nasty and dirty. Other than that it was great

Property is a little grungy in some areas and undergoing renovations. Room was as advertised and you can’t beat the view from the balcony!

Room smelled like cigarettes. A few broken things. Dirty shag carpet. View was beautiful, AC worked well, & surf shop was convenient. Floor we were on smelled like vomit 2 of 6 days we were there. Construction was still actively going on after being told it would wrap in April.

Our stay at SunDestin Beach Resort was very disappointing, especially considering how misleading the online photos were compared to the actual condition of the property.The room and resort are in serious need of updating. There has apparently been construction going on since 2023, which was frustrating to deal with during our stay. The water pressure was so poor that it barely worked, there was visible rust on the refrigerator, and my husband actually had to fix the sink himself just so it would drain properly. The bedroom had carpet (which felt outdated and unclean), no ceiling fan or overhead light, and they provided a box fan as a substitute—which says a lot about the condition of the room. The temporary see-through blinds were another issue because the bright hallway light shined directly into the room all night, making it impossible to tell whether it was morning or nighttime.The amenities also did not match what was advertised. The splash pad shown in the photos was not open or functioning, the pool was dirty, and there were no umbrellas around the pool area for shade. Even something as basic as towels was frustrating—you could not get extra towels unless you paid to rent them or paid to wash and dry the ones you already had.One positive note: the restaurant in the lobby was delicious and had great drinks. Unfortunately, every time you walked past it to access the beach, there was a very strong fish smell.Overall, the location is great, but the resort did not.

The room and view was amazing. Checking in was so easy. There is some construction going on but it was not in my way so no problem. It is just going to make everything even better. They have a store on site they have everything you may need. Great thing to have one site. The restuarant Joe's give it a try, I promise you will love it. We had a blast.

View is the only thing good,no access to hot tub,sand in pool,the noise from all the construction was unbelievable,with no knowledge of any construction before we booked only when we showed up did we find out!!!!

Very impressed with lodging - would love to stay here again when in Destin FL

Great Stay All was great! The bedroom was a little smaller that I expected, but was doable.

A couple of things to know The property is pretty old and the condos show the wear. The beach is absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. I was disappointed there were no umbrellas by the pool. There was no shade. The restaurant is really just a snack bar. We had never been to Destin and the traffic was awful. All in all we did have a good time.

Great place Outstanding, right on the beach and in the middle of everything!

Wonderful vacation The restaurant on site was a little less than we hoped for. Had to drive every time we wanted a meal. That was the only recommendation for improvement.

Awesome Room This Is My 3rd Stay in this Room, with Vacationing at this location 4 times. Has Nice Centered View From The Balcony. Really Recommend.

Nice Overall this place was nice but not great. The condo had carpet in the bedroom that was gross and always damp despite running the ac all the time. The grounds had nice aspects but there was ALWAYS trash around so it felt dirty.

Great beach front property! Very nice property. The access to the beach was amazing!

Sundestin 1407 Very clean. Beautiful view.

Perfect location Was as pictured. Overall cleanliness was good, couch was dirty and stained. The Kitchen had all the essentials that were needed. The AC unit above us leaked on our bed and got it wet one night. Location was perfect, right on the beach, elevators were very fast. Lobby was very clean, and staff was friendly. Would stay at Sun Destin again.
